Meh, I'm still on my town game.  Maybe not the height of it but that was a given when I committed to not taking this town over D1.  Otherwise I'd prob be dead right now.

Working on some ISO's next. My catch up reads are really bad ISOs should help tremendously.

 

1.) Why Sili? I don't hate the vote but I would like to hear some reason from you.

I know I've had ridiculously little time to play this game this weekend, and I've apologized for it. I went to bed after that post I made, and now I've read through the thread again. I will admit that I don't have the greatest reads on D1 too, as Darthe so lovingly pointed out. I'm volunteering for a church thing today, so I hope I'll get back before EOD. 

 

Going to leave what I'm left with after quickly reading through the last ten pages, and if I have time before EOD I'll go through it again. 

 

Wombat is my biggest town read so far. I like his level of engagement and WIM. 

 

Dice seemed towny to start with, so I'll keep him there. 

 

AJ, I wish I was sure about you, but I'm not yet. The faintest of town reads I guess for now. 

 

With Darthe I need to go back and ISO before making a real opinion. 

 

Sili does seem to lack WIM like somebody pointed out. 

 

My biggest scum read for now is Dae, so I'm going to place my vote there in case I don't have time to get back before EOD.

am i nuts? maybe.... but i have some doubts about identical reads this early in the game. The anti-town parties, especially when played by experienced players,  could easily take town lead and 'play for victory' this early, with little scepticism being put in their way. 

 

it's all too nice and easy imo....

i have read it, but i'm not convinced. There's something bugging me about him. Maybe i'm wrong (gods, i wish i could point out a wolf pack D1), but i'm sticking with my vote.

 

Villager tone imo, despite the tinfoil theory.

 

 1. Asking for reasons for a Sili vote from Snow. During the night that Snow got killed. 

 2. Squashing any thoughts about his possibly being mafia. Tommylike. I no like.

Seph looks pretty terrible after that EOD.

I liked the little school yard handshake that seemed to happen between NB and Wombo there, that gives me good vibes.

 

Still think lunch tomorrow should be between Sooh/Sili/Hallia with Seph as a side order potentially. I still think his volume is too high for him to be a wolf most of the time here but that EOD stuff looks really bad imo and post count isn't particularly clearing always.

That said if I had been here for EOD I might've voted you over Dae in those final minutes.

 

I still think scum falls between Hallia/Sili though but we'll see. There's a good chance I don't make it to D2 so if you're a villager I need you to pursue them. I don't want to see the town eat itself because the wolves aren't playing.

 Again Sili is mixed in but not actively pushed. also You see the " I'm gonna get killed" line appearing.  

 

 

1) what do you think about darthe. I need something besides a null read atm.

I have two opinions of him, not sure which is right.

 

2) Aj your game doesn't feel right to me here. I still keep coming back to the idea you and him could be teammates. I feel like if I am misreading darthe, your the mafia or as i stated possible teammates. When I re read the thread you guys are the two that ping me. and it looks like w/w.

I still need to re read since the flip, but this is where I am currently.

I think there is going to be scum in one of the top posters and two lower posters.

1) I have a feeling Darthe is more likely a villager after his play last night and going into EOD. He's not the type you can clear with post count and thread presence, etc because he can play at a high level as a wolf but I'm not getting bad vibes atm. I also think there's a good chance he ends up dead before too long if he's a villager so your worry will probably be relieved soon enough.

 

2) No offense but I don't think you're qualified to tell me when my game doesn't feel right yet. We've played in two together, one where I was a villager and murdered N1 and the other a wolf and your partner. Two complete opposite sides of the spectrum and the one chance you did have to see me as a townsman I was dead very early.

 

2.1) Darthe and I could very easily be teammates if he's a villager. We aren't wolves together. Why do you feel if Darthe is town that makes me a wolf? You're sort of setting yourself up to go after me since you've pinned me to him regardless of his actual alignment. Good luck with that though

 

3) I don't really have an preference as to which order I would vote them in atm. I'm gonna ISO them real quick and give some thoughts on their few posts so that my perspective is more clear as to why I think they could be mafia and to have others give their opinions as well.

The bolded really stands out to me as an attempt to nullify Seph's take on him. Very condescending. Seph has shown to be rather astute and he also does read the games he doesn't play so for AJ to take this stance is a very poor look IMO. The entire thing reads like he is just saying that Seph can't get him lynched, not so much that Seph is wrong about him. 

 

3. No preference as to who to lynch first. I put forward that it was because mafia hadn't decided if they wanted to BUS Sili or not.

I've been reading the recent stuff as I have been going back and ISOing since I finally am at my house and can use my computer.

 

Went thru Dice and found him villagery very early based strictly on tone/diciness. 

Wombat was even more town based on both tone and asking the right questions and taking what looked like very villagery positions. 

Thane I put my thoughts on. 

AJ I'm in the middle of but I don't like how he interacts with Thane or that he was so over the top in saying how he was the one that pushed sili when I think I have shown that he really didn't on D1 and only really went after him once Hallia got killed and he had painted himself into a corner. 

 

Still need to look at Seph and you. You are probably next tbh based upon the seph claim thing.

You know what a gambit is right?  

 

As soon as it was decide you were going to bus Sili you went all out and he cooperated with that crap cop claim. Then you beat your chest to get him lynched to make yourself look good. and then you shouted down Seph when he questioned you on it. You even have to admit that you were very over the top in your word choices. It looks like puffery. If you were Town you don't need to shout that you don't need cred because YOU DON'T NEED CRED.  

 

Look at your iso during the night. You concluded that you were mixed on Sili then. Day breaks your other target is dead, Sili has to go. Best way to make the best of a bad situation is to make sure that YOU drive the lynch.

You won't get a pass for tinfoiling. The fact you're trying to take my lack of information from D1 when I already had Sili as a suspect and spin it as me avoiding his lynch is some other level stuff.

 

You bring up the fact I had Hallia as a suspect with him and had to change course when she died. You neglect to point out who else I had in my bottom 3-4.

Now why would I need to bus my wolf bro who until then was floating easily by over someone like Sooh who would be a mislynch waiting to happen if I'm a wolf?
