The Compact:


Play to the spirit of the game and play to win. If you're not sure if something will be allowed, it probably isn't (i.e. no angle shooting, no role PM matching, no hidden messages, no personal attacks...)

Activity is up to the individual, however I will look to replace anyone that doesn't post for longer than a phase.

Communication about the game is ONLY allowed in the game thread and any QTs or PMs sanctioned by me. Do NOT quote ANY private messages directly in the game (you may paraphrase or lie about paraphrasing as much as you like).

Days will be at least 48 hours (times adjusted so that EOD falls when I'm around to move the game on). Nights will be at least 20 hours (time adjusted etc) or will end when all actions are received. A deadline for Day 1 will be set once everyone has checked in and will be longer than an average day. Weekends will be taken into account for phase length. This means that most phase changes will occur evening GMT or early morning GMT.

Hybrid Hammer - please note that I will not always be around to move the game on if you hammer when I'm asleep or at work.

Clov has agreed to troll/co-mod and will help keep me up to date with VCs, etc as he chooses, His word is law

The Game is Advanced, but not overly complicated so suitable for most people.

I reserve the right to amend or add rules as necessary; any rule change will be notified in thread and updated in the opening post.

Modern day living, the 9-5 of everyday existence, that became 9-6, then 8-7, the morning run, the evening drink. Lives spent in a drunken stupor and the morning after. What time is there now for belief, where do sacrificial bulls, and free flowing blood fit into this so called modern day life. People look away from the Old Gods, that have lost their power and towards the New Gods who control the markets, and thus control everything. Belief is dying in this land and with it the Gods, Gods are harder to kill than people; true, it is hard to kill an idea. But ideas do die, it just takes more effort. And once an idea is dead, once it's forgotten, then it's truly dead.
