Today I'm happy for the lynch to be between Clov/AJ because they've both felt off to me but I've been focusing more on AJ and have been gut reading him more strongly scum since early on and for whatever reason those thoughts don't seem to be getting across. 

 

 

It's not so much that it's not coming across. I just personally think Clov is more fishy than AJ. I've expressed my issues with AJ's content before and his responses to those weren't terrible. I'm pretty sure the last scum is in the three of you. Out of the three, funnily enough, I've felt most comfortable with you but I have misread you in the past when I was spectating games you were scum in.... so I don't have a 100% handle on reading you correctly and I have the experience of one town game with you, which was your first game and not really indicative for your current play imo. So I'm not ruling out you taking me for a ride here.

 

Also, I'm taking Cory's thoughts into consideration. I know he thinks people ignore read lists of people who died. I'm not going to. I'm gonna do exactly what I told him I'd do. I'm gonna lynch Clov/you in whatever order. Not just cause Cory said so but it's a combination of my thoughts, his and Tress', who I trust the most right now to help me catch scum. Both Cory and Tress feel okay about AJ so that gets him the benefit of the doubt for now.

So I wanted to see how you'd react. How he'd react. And how others would react (namely Cass, who Ive had as a reasonable candidate literally the entire game).

 

Voting you when there was still half a phase left does not mean you are the best candidate.

What did you get out of the whole thing then?

 

 

I got that:

 

-Kaylee is at least reading my posts and offering an explanation.  That's a good thing.

-Her tone in the reply (#1945, 1949) is good enough to be genuine.

-Even though I disagree with the idea, her explanation of just voting the top scum and going with it isn't so inherently anti-town it couldn't fit a townie perspective.

-You're content NOT looking at her whatsoever.

-Verbal was pretty happy to make multiple nudes on Kaylee from what I put up (1948, 1951).  He obviously knew he was going to be lynched yesterday, so I'm inclined to think he wouldn't just kick dirt on his last teammate.

-Cass completely ignored it and just rehashed the same things on Verbal that had already been said.

As far as why Cass is most likely scum...a lot of reasons.  There's nothing at this point that could get me to vote AJ, and unless she's alive at F3, I'm not lynching Tress.  If Wombat and Verbal - both of whom know exactly how much damage a cop can do in this set up - decided to kill somebody they knew wasn't a PR to "clear" Tress, then I congratulate them - it worked.

 

Just based on effort and tone, you're pretty much guaranteed town Nyn.  Your pushes are exactly what I would expect from you, and honestly, you refusing to go in any direction over the past two days - despite saying you could - is exactly what I associate with your town game (see: Darthe in Arthurian mafia).

 

That leaves Kaylee and Cass.  They were the bottom two on Verb's list. Verbal made multiple attempts to softpush Kaylee after I made my case yesterday.  Maybe he's trying to bluff her clear, but I doubt it.  On the other hand, he said Cass was a scumread and made no attempt to actually persuade us to go there.  He's fighting for survival, and he's not going to do ANYTHING to substantiate that she's actually a read of his?  

 

This was after he actually had a REASON to lynch her early in the game - his Sooh/Cass "not v/v" theory - , and he moved off without really ever trying to get people on her.

What bothers me about Cass at the moment is the way she focused on AJ. It's as if in her mind Clov is gonna get lynched... flip town... and she's setting up her defense for the next day where it's between her and AJ.

It's like she's working to disprove Verb/Clov as partners and fit me there instead. Doesn't make sense from a wolf pov as I think she would want anyone lynched at this point but could also be wanting to stay away since Clov was already lead wagon and other players (like Dice) are scum reading me

The thing is that we were pretty outspoken about who's in the POE. Clov, her and you. Right now it's a matter of her surviving you two. Clov seemed like a shoe in for a lynch today and her focus seemed entirely on you and I find that odd... if she's scum then I feel like she's thinking ahead, if you catch my drift.

The question is how sure he was that the Wombat lynch was going to go through. Timing wise I don't know how it all went.... but it just seems odd to me that he would vote a teammate while another teammate is being ran up. ie wouldn't he try to push a townie to get the heat off of Wombat?

Could be. I think your "late to the party" comment earlier was pretty spot on. And yes - I will follow thru on D5 if the game doesn't end with Cass.
