Just checked, no you didn't. You mentioned my vote, but no where did you say I was scummy or in your scum pile. Also, you didn't answer my question of why to your reads earlier.

I stated a thought, Verb asked me questions and I answered him. Seph doesn't have any proof in thread besides saying Sooh's vote was almost as bad as mine. He doesn't say any thoughts of my alignment. No where does he put me in a scum list until this morning. 

 

I've already said I still have you as town. I made my reads list earlier, and am voting my number one scum lean.

Is this actually a reason? I find this almost as bad as leelou vote on me, who voted because she was tired of reading my posts and said she just decided to follow yates. Seems like you are trying to find a easy spot to park a vote.

Hey guys.. I'm sorry for my lack of activity today. It's sort of two sided really. I wanted to catch up with my mentor before giving my reads, and that is kinda tricky with our schedules, and also I've had a bunch of tests to grade today, so I haven't been reading much. 

 

I promise I'll do better. 

 

Not much change in my reads so far. I want to read up more on a bunch of players. I see some ISOs in my future.

Hallia has some bite right now which I think is a good sign. My impression of her scum game is that she's a lot more amicable and fluffy in her interactions.

I can see your perspective in thinking her vote was bad or opportunistic yesterday on Yates but Hallia tends to vote more emotively than anything else. Her reaction afterwards to Yates snapping back at her is a fairly good example.

@ Sili - Re Eldrick, it's a gut/tone read thing I'm picking up on and if I'm following you correctly (?) then I agree,  alone it's not enough to make him scum. Was that your point? I haven't ISO'd him yet, have you?

 

@ Leelou - I still think the push on me for my Tress/Dice interaction was reaching, but if you're not suggesting/pushing that my change in style is scummy then ok - that's all I was trying to get at with my questions. If you followed the first game we played together as Town after you were out, as well as the one where we wolfed, then the observation about my posting style in itself without association to alignment makes sense (although I think I remember you saying pre-wolf game that you remembered very little of my play besides that it was WoTs, and I'm wary that you're focusing so much on this as a 'thing' ITT). I am shorter and snippier here, and interacting more off the cuff than from detailed analysis - at this point. It's the only way I'll keep up with the game. I don't mind taking my time to catch up in normal games early on because I know I will catch up eventually but that's not the case here. I'm uncomfortable. So far it's more like the PoG mashes and my usual style failed miserably there so I'm trying to adjust. 

 

@ Alot - Are you usually quick to vote? I know you mentioned struggling to catch up but that vote seems to have come out of nowhere, and I'm not sure why you'd be equally willing to vote there and then remove your vote in the event that Leelou's right about me usually being one to WoT... What's your read of her? Do you think she was genuine or trying to make a push?

If you look at my POV as I've explained, it should make sense that I'd push you a little as a result.  You got very defensive and snippy with me as soon as I started, which made me push more.

 

This isn't going to be one of those games I can just "tell" what alignment you are, because it is way too easy to be scum in this game if there are multiple scum teams.  Just scumhunt for the other team(s) and you look pro-town.  Too easy.  Finding scum here will be harder than normal as a result.

 

 

 

Bottom line:  Yates being inconsistent in his "lock scum" read is not the issue (read this Sili - it should help you see my thought process) --- it is the fact that he wouldn't address it while being pressed on it from multiple posts of mine (and others).  When he finally replied, had it been a defense of his stance, I would have pushed the lynched myself.  Instead, he admitted the mistake, which rang sincere to me, and I unvoted.  Simple as that.

 

Anybody calling that sequence of events scummy on my part is welcome to push me on it.  I ain't scurred.

This isn't how it came across. Besides phrasing it wrong, the matter was the inconsistency, while yates dodging it a little accidentally made it something people could latch onto. Thing is you pushed Yates for being inconsistent, not for being conspicuous, and usually that sort of thing would be a side note in a much larger case because it is insignificant on its own, but you pushed him for it very hard, and you acted like it was the crux of the case against him from the get go and to the end.

 

Furthermore, I know you didn't do your research, because Yates gave an excuse that wasn't even applicable, and that for you, should be damning.  I don't know a verbal who is this bad at being a villager and pressing suspects for information in such an unhealthy way.
