My problem with leelou's list is mostly that she joked a lot, and I've never seen her read me town so fast. I wasn't sure if that was alignment indicative after further consideration though.

The thing about a vig is it can be just as harmful to the town as it can be beneficial (usually it's more harmful). So I don't really consider it much of a pr. And I'd be more inclined to unvote you if you promised to holster Night 1, because IMO, taking a shot Night 1 is usually just pretty dumb.

It's not just about the numbers, though. You could also kill a potentially valuable townie. There are players who can become extremely valuable in the late stages of a game, and you risk killing one of them off without very much information to go on. That's what I don't like about Night 1 vig shots.

You seemed against letting town control your shot as an extra lynch but that's generally the accepted way to safely deal with someone who has a shot that you can't confirm as SK or vig.

 

Basically what I'm saying is claiming to save your life and then giving town the middle finger isn't the best way of going about things.
