2014 Empy Awards!

 

 

That time of year has come again when Dragonmount celebrates the year that has passed and all the fun we have had. 

 

As you may have guessed, this year's theme is the mysterious wonder that was the Age of Legends. With homage to the Back to the Future series, the theme is to reflect on the past while looking forward to the future. As the Wheel weaves, what once was will come again. 

 

Thus, we have one question to ask: 

 

Who are the Legends of our Age?

 

Who will take out the Dragon Award?

 

Which group will win the V’Saine Award? 

 

Who can live up to the expectations of the First Among Servants?

 

The future is decided by you!

After you have finished that, come relax at the famous luxury resort, the Ansaline Gardens ,and share a piece of the Age of Legends, or check out Back to the Future: DM Style and reminisce on the fun times and look forward to the future!

Nominated and Voted...  Honestly a little surprised to see I was nominated in two of the categories.

Know the feeling. Of all the categories I'd consider a nomination possible for, Funniest wasn't one of them. The Golden Oldie was less of a surprise but considering some of the people (Lor, Horn, Nyn and Lanth, for instance) floating about the boards, I wouldn't really have expected that nomination either. I guess it's a matter of perspective as to what constitutes an Oldie in DM terms.

Wasn't nominated this year, though that wasn't really a surprise considering how busy I was irl.  I'm glad I did win an empy once though!

I'm not old! The only category I'd want to win is Silliest Member. I have an undefeated streak in that category (when it's offered).

*grins* Are too old in DM years. Fairly sure you still win Silliest even when it's not on the list. They only took it out because they were jealous. Clearly.
