Actually,  yes.  I saw your post about defending Darthe, as you were null on him, earlier and meant to ask you about it.  

 

I get the logic - random gives people a better chance to be town than mafia - but it didn't seem like you had any scum reads when you were defending him.  Remember, you were backing him before Verbal really got on him and before Barm hopped on you.  Did you think there was a better person to be pushing at that time than Darthe?

 

No, I don't think there was anyone I wanted to lynch.

 

The idea and motive behind my actions is to speak up if I feel people are being unreasonable. It is also my strategy to leave those cases that have merit alone. To be absolutely clear, I am completely fine with cases that go somewhere productive. But I am not okay with witch-hunts on my turf.

 

For Darthe, I wanted to defend him without damaging his wagon, while leaving plenty of room for better cases on him to be built. In much the same way I defended Zash earlier, but also demanded she make an attempt to form reads.

 

 

So you wanted to defend him but not remove votes from him, and still keeping it possible to push him.  Why even bother with a defense then?

Cop - Eldrick. There's been a lot of conversation centered on Zasha. She's been replaced by another person I don't know at all. I don't think I'd be able to resolve this slot without a lot of help.

 

Vig - Lily. This is where my vote is going. I don't like the Darthe wagon. I feel like it has built too easily with too many different characters and I haven't seen a single convincing argument to explain it. Lily and Nyn [my deep-wolf candidate] are the people I trust least on it.

As far as the not seeing much since, DM typically is pretty dead on the weekends.  I'm not sure why, but games tend to drop off significantly on Saturdays and Sundays.

Weekend commitments. Travel. Family. Or in my case, all three. I'm not sitting at a computer for 6 hours at a stretch on weekends. That hasn't always been a problem but I think it will be for a while now.

Is there anyone specific you had in mind? I'm not inclined to do a full game recap and would rather be posting in real time.

 

Barring that, if I had something I'd share it. In general I think the people I can read the best in this game are Sili, Thane, Dice, and AJ [with a sprinkling of Darthe]. AJ replacing out is going to be tough but Cass replacing him will be the real challenge. So if I see something that tingles my spidey senses I will be on it.

 

I can't tell if this is scum you or Town you yet - but I'll have you sorted soon.

Verb and Clov are Day 2 or Day 3 reads for me. I'll be paying attention to how Verb and Leelou interact with each other because they are like Ross and Rachael. If it's on, they are both Town. If it's off, there's something rotten in Denmark.
