This is good and consistent with my whollistic impression of his character. He was the first to respond. thane seems genuine not overblown. Self conscious like usual. Its hittting the range at the back of the tunnel where it could be a genuine excuse.

My response was a tongue in cheek way of telling you I found your attempt to make a smear at me in such a manner equally scummy. Especially considering the flatness in which you finished D1 without ever laying a vote down and completely missing EOD.

 

I thought your posts were good at face value in the short bursts you made them, but in summation I actually have you pretty high up on my suspect list if you're wondering. The way you're presenting your arguments seems off to me. Essentially yesterday the totality of your play was to come in and knock a bunch of players for making good posts (which I have already made note of), FOSing Tina, and then reverse meta-ing Leelou.

 

You're making arguments like I would expect experienced scum to do, including now with your projection onto me.

 

What you may or may not do as scum doesn't reflect at all on me and what I may or may not do as scum. Presenting them as if it were true because it's something *you* would do doesn't make my intent or genuineness false.

Sure it does.  The sentence before the bold is you saying to me exactly what I said to you.  You can swap "something I would do as scum" with "something experienced scum would do" in my initial post @ you.

How you said it is exactly the problem though.

 

It's not a direct attack but instead a smear. I was the one harping on the Dice lynch and who initially started it. Me expressing disappointment in the result and then having you characterize it in a way that wasn't intended, especially given your lack of vote activity, rang extremely insincere to me.

 

I'll concede that we're probably both experienced enough to use similar tactics as scum but my statement isn't untrue by any means. Anything you might do doesn't mean it would translate into something I would do, that's my entire point.
