Purple's alright. Royalty color, after all. And my wife's favorite color, so when we had a "sand ceremony" mixing two colors of sand at our wedding... they were orange and purple.

Would have been better when I lived in Georgia. (And you know, the sad thing is that in the 3 years I was there, an hour and a half away, I never went to Dragon Con. *hangs head in shame*)

Brid, you should organize a cross-country road trip on horseback. I'm sure it would be just great for the horses.

Oh, that would be so fun though. I met a guy who did that. He stayed at the barn I worked at for a night with his two horses.

I have Arabians...they were originally bred for endurance...and war.

*nods*. Best endurance horse around!! A friend of mine has 4 Arabs. They made me change my opinion of Arabs. In a very good way. :)

The guy who trained my gelding under saddle said the same thing. He's a die-hard stock horse guy from California.  He loves loves LOVES my gelding.
