im having some problems keeping the newbies straight in my head.

 

JMM felt like he kept bringing up hallis first post but when i isod him he only does it like 3 times or so. But he feels weird. Im leaning scum on him but dont have enuff to really back it up.

 

ERR and sleeper i definetly need to iso. i feel like sleeper is mafia but i cant say why, but its also not as strong as my usual gut reads.

 

and csarmi is right i want tommy lynched.  he has claimed 2 roles. 1 a scum role 1 non town. Either could be true and tommy has the cajones imo to claim a true scum role early. considering how towns have a habit of pied pipering him that shouldn't be a real surprise. he hasn't been helpful to town at all. So i do not understand why people want to hold off lynching him

There's a big difference between "defending" you and looking for logical consistency/inconsistency. I was doing the later.

 

True. This is the first time I am seeing this though. In the many games we have played together. 

With that said; I'm actually NOT annoyed that you hadn't posted much. This is about the level of activity I've come to expect from you. It's annoying in general that you aren't a more consistent contributor but I also get that you aren't typically posting in real time. I'm over it.

 

I don't buy their claim yet - looks more like "if you kill us, you are going to be in trouble" claim.

The thing about our claim, as I pointed out in the claim, is that it presents new information confirmed by the mod. THAT is the important part of the claim, not the fear mongering you suggest. So this information has already been confirmed by at least one Townie and would be proven if either of us were to die. The informed minority [scum] typically likes to keep information like that to themselves so they can always push the "fake claim" angle if it gets later into the game. I took that weapon out of their arsenal.

 

Like I said in my previous post, we can gain more info on this as the game goes.

csarmi's volume being high is usually villager indicative but that's not a perfect tell - most of my read on that slot is through dice's early aggression. afaict dice is out of his scum range and his interactions with tommy in particularly are benchmarks of town!dice. both being ~absent for the weekend hurts the read somewhat, but i still have them in comfortable green.

 

tina just has taken some lines i don't think she bothers to take as a wolf. she had a jumpstart entrance - something much more typical of her villager game - and had some really good posts irt to me. she's paranoid early of me (something i think she only bothers to do as a villager, as i doubt wolf!tina throws dirt on someone pushing her heavily as a townread d1; not really how she operates) but also expects me to read her correctly - something i've done now for like 6-7 games straight. comfortable green again.

jmm had two things that pulled me different ways

 

A) his scum list was somewhat consensus-y of players that aren't really being townread (Sili/Sleeper where the first two IIRC) but I think he had two others that were sort of random so not sure what I'm seeing there - would love elaboration!

 

B) he said something like "scum try to act super townie to start the game!" which is the sort of ideology i try to fight since it really isn't applicably true here from experience, but he said that YET said very little about me and monstr - players who are generally absurdly villagery villagers and like rambling about how town they are. so i don't really see the logical connection if that's his mindset reading the thread.

I did not like Tina or Halli's first posts (page 1 and 2 respectively).  Nothing definite for now, but I am watching them.

Yates is null. I don't know if he's acting the way he is because he lost to despothera and me, and is driven to win, or if he's faking the edge in his posts.

I felt like he tried to be active by comparing people´s fos/voting pattern. It felt unnessesary job to do as mafia. But, as Csarmi said, he never followed up on them. Well, I don´t think he has been here at all after posting that.

He did this as Mafia in Cthulu Mafia.

I have only played with mafia Cory once and that was almost a year ago. I played in one game where he was third party. In the rest he has been town. As a townie he puts a lot of work in D1 reads. He is a good D1 scum hunter. Often he gets killed early and I have learned to use his reads after that. As town, he can read me very good. If he is proven town then you can count me town as well. I know it sounds like I´m trying to clear myself but I think Cory will agree.

 

 

Now, is he town in this game? He would of course know that I´m town if he was mafia as well. So just because he knows I´m town doesn´t have to mean he is town. I´m leaning more town than scum though, considering his and Mish´s actions so far. I´m actually basing that more on Mish´s posts since I think I can read her better than Cory.

Tommy I'm not sure on.  There was a bunch of chaos and craziness at the beginning of the game - it felt like a bunch of preschoolers let out for recess.  Tommy was one of those posting a bunch, which could either mean he was resigning himself to a town game and just being crazy for no reason other than he likes to do that, or he could be a mafia trying to act like someone who just drew town by being overly vocal.  

 

Err… 3rd day inactive.    Early posts gave me nothing too suspicious.  Not really leaning either way there.
