i think this game will finish in D4. we have 3 characters now confirmed. the night will probably clear 2 more people (the person killed and the person inspected).... after that we just lynch off others till we win.

Proginoskes sent Meg a series of mental images to help her understand where they were, in the mitochondrion Yadah.  She did her best to translate them to Mr. Jenkins, who had difficulty with kything, the telepathic communication she shared with the others.

 

In the murky greenish blackness, it was as though they were deep down under the sea, deeper than any light could penetrate.  And there was movement - movement she had mistaken for the beating of Charles Wallace's heart, but within Yadah, time moved differently, and it would be as if a decade had passed before the next heartbeat of the human host.  The movement was the rhythm of Yadah, the swaying of a bed of kelp with the deep ocean currents, as if an ancient primeval forest was undulating of its own volition.  And there was music; the rich, unearthly song of the surrounding sea.

 

Farandolae.

 

Mr. Jenkins sent signals of confusion.  What he knew of farandolae were the mouse-like scampering creatures he had first seen with Sporos on Metron Ariston, not the sea trees Meg and Proginoskes were trying to show him.

 

Proginoskes clarified, "The sea trees, as you call them, are what Sporos will become once he has Deepened - they are called fara then.  A grown fara no longer has to run about, they are not limited by time and space.  Farae can be with one another any time, in any place."

 

"They can move without moving?" Meg asked.

 

"You might put it that way."

 

"Progo, Mr. Jenkins doesn't understand Sporos running around like a toy mouse.  And I don't understand it either. He isn't a bit like the sort of sea things you showed us."

 

"Sporos is only a child.  A farandola well into adolescence has already passed through its early stages and taken root and is becoming a grown fara.  It is nearly time for Sporos to leave childhood and Deepen. If he does not, it will be another victory for the Echthroi.  We have to help him Deepen, Meg.  That's our second test, I'm sure it is."
