So let's talk seers.

In a werewolf game the seer gets a peek (cop result) on a player before the game begins. So a big part of the game is the idea of seer cover. Vanilla villagers will want to pretend to be the seer by leaving correct peeks behind. The presumption is that the wolves always want to kill the seer as soon as possible, so it's presumed they're seer hunting on N1. If someone is killed N1 and flips villager, it's assumed their fake peek was correct. So if someone peeked Tom v on N0, then dies on N1, Tom would be presumed seer hunt cleared (SHC) on D2. Obviously this is exploitable and sometimes is exploited by the wolf team to fake SHC a wolf, but in general the longer the wolves let the seer live the harder the game gets for them.

And that makes D1 much more interesting.
