did you really not consider for a second that there might be a Ninja in the game? It's not a super common role but you're experienced enough to have at least mentioned it at some point...

Sure. Or a Godfather. I still wasn't going to lynch someone with a "clear" over someone without a clear. It's like I said to Manbat; assume we no lynch... Sili kills us tonight. Tomorrow Manbat has to decide between Dice and Sili. Sili was tracked going nowhere on a night with no kill. Neither has played a particularly strong Town game. Who does he vote?

At worst, I cut the game a day short.

I wasn't saying you should have no lynched. I just don't think you should have been so confident in your result considering you WERE left alive, which should have been a big red flag imo

Sili you played a pretty crappy town game your first incarnation. This "revenge" thing is kinda silly bro. Your train could have been 100% townie and still I would not have faulted it.

Well, my idea isn't to be serious about it. I'm just talking in character. I am the Marlfox.

That said, many of the justifications used to lynch me weren't good.  Maybe there are equally valid ways to play, but one that results in a 1 in 4 chance of lynching scum isn't one of them.

Like, I'm not in denial, I don't refuse to change my ways, and I can town tell to a crowd if I want, but next game I won't be condemning everyone who AtE's, boasts, or lashes out. That's just not useful in my opinion.

The creatures of Redwall had suffered so much in the past few days, losing their beloved Abbess, their fearless warrior, and the comic relief that every good story must contain.  In the end, despite decades of perseverance, decades of standing for peace and justice and the American way love, they had finally succumbed to their enemies.

The last of the leaders of Redwall fell to Lantur's dagger as she thrust and gave a howl of triumph.  She had achieved her long sought after victory, revenge for her brethren and sisthren and mother but not father.  She turned and looked out over the expectant army of cutthroats.  She threw her head back and howled so loud and so long, a hundred bawdy voices joining in, that creatures even three miles away could hear.

And Mossflower shuddered...

Dice, Dombur, Vanilla Town has been lynched.

Lates, Dippler "Log-a-Log" of the GuosimTown Tracker, has been Nightkilled.

Congratulations to the Mafia team of Alanna, Hallia, and Sili!!!

Damptooth appeared out of a hole in the ground, bloodied and missing half of his face, his left paw, and a good chunk of his right thigh, but alive.  Somehow.

AJ, Damptooth, Third party Psychopath, has survived and won.

Thanks for playing everyone.  I'll post the setup and roles shortly.

So what happened with AJ

Concerning AJ, since there was a town and scum psychiatrist both hunting for him, if he was targeted by both in the same night then nothing would happen, they would cancel.  He was targeted by both, I thought I had effed up the Night Actions and told him he had been recruited by the scum.  He joined them in their chat and it was later that I realized BFKey had been role blocked and they hadn't successfully jailed Manbat, so AJ shouldn't have been recruited after all.  Instead of rerolling or stopping the game I thought the most fair thing for the majority of players was to modkill AJ.  It sucked, but that's what I went with.

Aj's win condition was to survive until he was one of the last four players (I believe that's what I said).  He also had a shot every night.

Unfortunately something was lost in translation and AJ didn't realize he wasn't a survivor, so when he claimed D1 it threw a wrench into the mechanics.  But that was my fault too.

Cool with me, but maybe ask Alanna. Nice game. Think I like playing town more than scum.

I probably should have been lynched d3, d4, d5... but it wasn't ever going to happen.

I killed arsis because arsis actually had a head on his shoulders.

If Arsis had been around at f-4 I would be dead right now.

Edit: Not to be rude of course. It was just the right call for various reasons. Arsis is a good confirmed town to have around at endgame because he's pragmatic.
