Look everyone, PLEASE just do me a favor and check Thane's iso out. I KNOW he can be a scummy looking townie, but as a townie he will still put forth genuine effort into finding scum. This game not only does he have some of the wolfiest tone ever, he's also COMPLETELY self-obsessed and more than half of his posts are just trying to declare how "100% town" he is here even tho HE HIMSELF was talking about him flipping town like it was a possibility not a forgone conclusion

There is simply no way Thane is town this game. He is beyond ridiculously the best choice for our lynch today, assuming yall actually wanna lynch scum

Just about everyone else that's a candidate has points for and against them. Thane's is just "oh man but he looks scummy as town a lot..." and when that is the ONLY thing in your favor, well then maybe the answer is to just LYNCH IT AND BURN IT WITH FIRE

I'm not trying to tunnel him. If fact I'm actively trying not to. He just keeps posting like a wolf.

It looks like you quote pretty much every new post by Clov and try to argue how it's scummy, even when often the post doesn't look scummy to me at all

That's the definition of tunneling

OK

So I did a bunch more skimming, and I'm done with that.  Only good result is that I'm not so sold on Salami anymore.  Very beginning of the game was shaky imo for him, but much better afterwards.  His frustration with the fonts and angleshooting recently appears to be genuine.  As far back as I can remember, a seemingly genuinely frustrated Salami is a town Salami.

I'm also still feeling town on Clov.  I want to ISO him to make sure I'm properly detaching the read from where I was at with Salami before, though.  I still need to do that.

Re: scum reads, I'm a little shaky on those.  I think I might go for the townhunting angle today and sheep some scum leans based on that, and pick up the game in real-time going forward.  I'll try and ISO here and there, but I'm not doing a full read through of all I missed.  It is almost 70 pages in 2.5 days.  Nuts, yo.

I will.  I seem to remember being suspicious of him in the opening pages of the game - I'll revisit that via ISO.  But first I need to do the one on Clov.

[v]Hallia[/v]

I've been kinda keeping up over the last day or so, so I'm not completely out of thread flow.

Cliff notes: Wombat is looking more townie. Maybe he just had to shake the rust off cause he hasn't played in a few months. Don't think lynching him is optimal today as his game has picked up and I still think Hallia makes a good wagon.

Thane/Hallia/Clov wagons are probably decent imo

I have some issues with Pral's reads that I will address later. For one I don't think he's every town read me in a game when he was town, but that's kinda minor and just an amusing detail that comes to mind for me. I don't think his Wombat commentary is completely factual though and I do take issue with that. Means bad for Pral, maybe bad for Wombat.

Verb playing up the laziness is kinda wolfy I think. I think he understands the game enough to know as a villager that it's more or less his duty to help collect information so just saying he's going to pick his top townie and sheep is #notagoodlook

That's all for now, mostly. I'll be around some in real time tonight after the thread for my other game closes. Until then, keep on keeping on village.

Actually - one more thing.

Yates wasn't it you in a recent game who said you got caught as a wolf for doing that type of catch-up notes posts?

Food for thought imo

I have agreed with pretty much every comment Tommy said about Clov's recently. I just didn't wanna be repetitive and agree every time.

Clov is wolf.

What is the number of post of the Thane ISO you mentioned?

des, vote for clov.

thane has voted for clov. continue bussing thane.

For a long time everyone was saying how Clov and Wombat looked scummy, and I kept saying I didn't see it. I finally started seeing it a bit irt Wmbat (still undecided there tho) but I still don't see it with Clov

Really the only person trying to bring solid stuff against Clov is Tommy, and he looks like he's suffering from confbias

Everyone else that's either voting or FOSing Clov isn't really mentioning much at all that makes sense to me, or not at all period

And so you pick me? Ooook

You need to be one of the wagons today, period.

You have 0 equity in this game and you just sheeping now is terrible

I can switch if need be but I would also be happy to drive your lynch

Okay with that I'm out forrealz

Bio lab is starting in a few and I wanna reply to anything in my other game since I'll miss EOD there

I understand the game enough to know that I can't scumhunt properly without fully reading those ~70 pages I missed.  The next best thing is for me to identify my best town reads in real-time and a few ISOs, and go from there.

I don't like the sheep idea myself, but I don't have a better one that doesn't involve me not doing anything but read the game for the next 4 hours.

Who's catch-up notes post are you talking about?  I don't think I did one, so are you talking about the one Pralaya did?

Des your insistence or inability to not see how Clov has been wolf telling is now bordering on absurd. You can say you don't think he's the best lynch. But to say he hasn't been wolfy at all is like... what is wrong with you? What kind of signal do you need?

...he's obviously talking about Yates himself... you know, the only guy posting notes instead of conversing?

Read the next sentence after the bold.  I'm getting that vibe - the ISO is needed to ensure it isn't still partially tied to how I followed his explanations in the early game.
