Verbal/Hallia/Pral IMO... and Leelou could very possibly be the fourth. I didn't like her not voting at first going all 'I didn't want anyone to yell at me for putting him at L-1". Leelou wouldn't really give a sh*t how she's perceived. If she thinks someone is scum, she'd vote him.

That would make what, three games in a row that town self destructs while the scumteam just hides?

I'm not 100% about it. There could be a deep wolf in my town pile. But I think at least 3/4 of those would be scummies.

 

When I was scum with Red, Lenlo and Dawn it was actually exactly what you describe. Red and I had to be more active because it isn't in our meta to be be low key. But the gist of it remains the same. There were loads of active vocal players and we just let them shoot themselves in the foot for the most part.

We would have been better off if Des hadn't died.

I wouldn't lynch Salami either because while I can't stand him, it's certainly within his town range to be this aggravating. 

 

I've liked Alanna since early on but I feel a decline in her thread involvement and it's bothering me a bit. Still, she'd be far down the list of people I am willing to consider for a lynch.

 

 

Verbal, Leelou, Pral, Hallia. I need to look a bit deeper into Leelou and Verbal's posts, because I haven't gotten around to ISOing them. But based on POE alone.... that's the pool of people on the table, imo.

Leelou has told me before that she and Verbal kinda suck at looking natural when they roll scum together. I have to double check this when I ISO them... but my general impression is that they haven't really interacted much in the game. If this is true.... I'd say it's a point against them. Because they're more likely to try to avoid each other in thread if they rolled scum together.

I'm not really angry. I actually agree with you, Hallia, about people getting angry in games, it's ridiculous. Mafia is a game, and if people really get so frustrated with games, I don't know why they play. I think some people bring their egos too much in to it and get too caught up in wanting to be right, so they take it really personally when they're not.

 

That said, what most frustrates me about the Clov lynch is Clov. He didn't even try to defend himself and then SELF-HAMMERED. Like...wth. What is wrong with him. He's going on my bad list.

 

I did feel, catching up just now, like it was really obvious that the lynch was building too quickly, which, with 4 scum and 3 townies left, practically screams that scum were driving this lynch. Maybe it just seemed that way, reading it all at once. But there was at least 1 townie on that lynch (aside from Clov) and like, why so hasty? That's just dumb. I brought up how a GA could work in a game with a Doc and was basically ignored. At the very least, some people could've held back until more people (like me) could check in, so we could, you know, actually try to work as a townie team and decide together who to lynch. It's the same thing as Day 2, Sili being lynched for what was very probably a frame job.

 

Anyway, I have to get to a meeting. I hope I didn't come across too hostile; I've been absent today because I had a very stressful and anxiety-inducing thing going on at work today. I should be back in about 3 hours.

I don't know what to tell you. Clov claimed a role that shouldn't exist in a game that already had a VERY SIMILAR role flip. Then he came in with no effort and self hammered. I probably would have still voted him anyway but to say that wagon built "too quickly" is nuts. This has been a LONG game with a LOT of people playing in frustrating ways. I think seeing an opportunity to lynch scum quickly was simply too enticing. I wasn't looking forward to another 30 pages per real life day of reading. This is like being involved in 3 games at once.
