Nyn why are all the boys a bunch of dumbs in this game

Well it's not like it's limited to this game specifically.

Truth

My WIM has been pretty firmly damaged. It stinks that you guys wouldn't even consider the possibility that I'm town.

I mean, it's already extremely clear you're mafia here, but just to indulge-

You're not giving us any reason to believe the possibility of you being town here. And town!Hallia is too happy all the time to let something like being mislynched "damage your WIM"

You're saying that just as an excuse so you can slank off instead of give away your teammates by trying to participate

I wanna see flips on Hallia, Verb, Clov, Leelou and possibly Salami if he's still incognito by then; and if the game isn't over reassess whomever is left. There's 3+ in that group.

I don't get frustrated because it is a game.

I always make that point no matter what game I'm in.

I'm not saying I disagree with a town-Tom read, but I don't think that's a good reason to develop or reinforce that read.

Wolf Tom is smart enough not to push at a hinted-PR on thread and by pseudo-defending him there he both makes Yates look bad and gives Sili good feels about him.

The correct way to read me is to cop or vig me. Barring that, bloodthirstiness, anger at being suspected and a desire to control threadflow and the POE are my biggest wolf tells according to those who claim to read me well like ReddBoiler.

I disagree about you getting angry at being suspected as a scum tell, However, blood thirstiness. Definitely. The reason why I have you as a scum suspect since D1.

You wanting to link him as hard defending Hallia is ~plausible but also could indicate you have knowledge of her alignment and want to make Yates look bad later if Hallia were to die.

You know how we resolve this? Vig shot to Hally's face or rope tomorrow. There's nothing remotely "plausible" about the assertion that consolidating wagons onto HALLY and Thane at the end of the day is - IN ANY WAY - "hard defending" Hally. I'm done talking about it.

When the SP wagon was proposed, Yates argued to keep votes on the Thane wagon...

Show me the post that makes you think this.

Thane was a leader wagon over Hallia, partially thanks to Yates championing the Thane wagon.

Is this what you are trying to sell? Are you just going to ignore the several pages of conversation I had with Thane when he finally showed up? You know, the pages that lead to him making posts that garnered him enough Town credit that some people started to lean more towards Thane being Town? Or are you going to characterize that investigation as "championing the Thane wagon?"
Posted

So why did you lynch Thane?

Because Yates and Des were -really- sure and I thought I would be FOS'd strongly if Thane flipped scum and I had ignored the wagon all day, and there were some moments that I just felt meh about lynching Hallia, and it was still better to lynch someone who had been talked about a lot than the slanker SP.

What made you think the part in bold? Was it the fact I TOLD YOU I found it suspect? Also, since when do you care about "looking Town?"
Posted

Nope Nope NOPE. Your argument is invalid

Three wagons means there is roughly ~33% chance of each getting lynched. Two wagons means each wagon is roughly ~50% likely to get lynched

Play better Tommy

2 of those wagons were on now confirmed Town. What if Hally is Town? Then how dumb do you look when you try calling this move "scummy," Tom?

If she flips scum? I just say "oops my bad" and move on with my day. I won't even cry about it. I just chose the wrong suspect given the two I narrowed it down to. But I will take some solace in the fact - hey, at least I had 50% scum in my suspect pool and that isn't so bad. You, on the other hand, DID look terrible for pushing on Thane while voting Clov then pushing on Thane while voting Hally - all the while not voting the guy you are railing on. That much you DID have right in your post quoted above. Makes me think you knew the alignments of the participants involved and realized you had an easy pathway onto a mislynch. WAY stronger case than your "Yates limited the scum pool to a 50/50 choice between scum and Town while eliminating Town from the pool."

Wolfy as hell series of posts Yates

What can I say? I'm hungry like a wolf to see you swinging from a rope tomorrow. Maybe I'm just in a foul mood because the Giants put up a pretty piss poor effort just now. Or maybe I have just run out of slack for you. *shrug* It's a mystery.

Don't forget to pre-empt the arguments I may use against you and then suggest I'm scum for acting the same way I do in every game

Oh wait

No broskis, it's still pretty simple.

If there are 3 wagons and 1 is a wolf, it's far more beneficial to the wolves to stack one of the wagons and have the wagons be like 6-2 rather than have three wagons and make them 3-3-2, because the chance that the wolf can get randomly CFD'd by a mood swing is much greater with spread votes.

Thane was a leader wagon over Hallia, partially thanks to Yates championing the Thane wagon. When the SP wagon was proposed, Yates argued to keep votes on the Thane wagon, thus maintaining the strong vote lead to prevent a Hallia wagon from taking off. Whether he meant to do this or not is not my current argument; it's the fact that this was the consequence of his actions.

You cannot argue otherwise. Because it doesn't make any sense to argue otherwise.

This is absolutely false when the wagons are lopsided.

You're wrong Des. Your unvote happened long before. Hallia wagon was still tied with Thane after you took your vote off her:

Official Vote Count

Csarmi (2): Clov

Wombat (1): Csarmi

Thane (3): Des, Hally, Yates

Hally (3); Alanna, AJ, Tommy

Sili (1): Sili

Not Voting (7): SP, Pral, Verbal, Wombat, Thane, Leelou, Nyn[/size]

With 16 alive it takes 9 to lynch.

Deadline - Today 8:30 PM MST

I'm sorry... you were saying something about how I was the lopsided swing vote that made the Thane dominoes fall but I was distracted by you posting the vote count that illustrates this isn't the case. Weird.

Posted

It was actually kind of the CFD on SP that put Thanes train ahead of Hally. I think thane had 4 votes at the time, and Hally 3. Wombat took his vote off Hally then to vote SP, putting thane ahead by 2, and after that is when votes started piling in Thane.

SHHHHHHHHH.... That doesn't fit Tommy's "Yates!scum" narrative. It's too logical and blows up his whole argument if you actually read what happened!
Posted

Do you want to know what I have actually been talking about or do you just want to push me since Hallia is already a done deal

I want to push you since Hallia is already a done deal. After she flips scum I'll be happy to actually put in some effort and lynch the tar out of you during the day. But right now I'm too tired to effort so you should probably just read those posts above and see how your "logic" is inconsistent with the facts of the game as THEY ACTUALLY HAPPENED. But that's up to you.
Posted

But it's not.

Your push of Thane was the continual series of quotes you pulled to assert his wolfiness. Acting like your individual vote is the catalyst is absurd and you're either being stubborn or just trying to act incredulous. I know you aren't that dumb.

At this precise moment in time I am not pushing you for that; I was asserting that my logic is not only NOT wrong, but in fact QUITE CORRECT.

You seem AWFUL concerned about it though.

When people make this kind of pivot-on-left-foot-take-strong-swing attack after a new primary target is needed by threadflow I have a difficult time buying it.

Suggest you don't act so ravenous; it will bite you in the rear regardless of your alignment.

Well, I *AM* pushing you for your terrible logic. You know why? Because it's scummy. You have been disproven over and over again. Stubborn? Sure. I can get that you might be stubborn. But this is ridiculous. When it gets to this point, I can't see how it could possibly be coming from a Town mindset. And since I have yet to fully resolve your slot? This is helping me read you. That read suggests you are not Town.

Nuh uhh. Don't act like you weren't a participant in this fail logic debacle, AJ. Suggesting that theory is even PLAUSIBLE is insulting.
