Hallia, I'll just tell you what I'm thinking: when the most discussed lynch targets were between you and Thane ~12 hours before EOD1, Yates started hard pushing SP but was reticent to have an SP wagon start up. If he's scum and knowing Thane and SP were town, his only motivation for this would be if you're scum with him.

Something to keep in mind if Yates flips scum.

You must have me confused with someone else.

I corrected. The converse is also somewhat true: if Hallia is town, you being scum is less likely unless you really wanted that town cred, in which case: PR.

Tommy - do you even believe what you are saying at this point?

You were one of the stronger momentum swings at EOD; your motivation is important.

Okay. Let's look at my motivation.

I'm guessing your post is supposed to look like this?

1. I wasn't "hard pushing Thane." You are probably the only person in here that would characterize what I did as a "hard push" as opposed to trying to resolve the slot. I probably pushed HALLY harder than Thane, tbh.

2. End of Day. Your words, not mine. And you're right. It was the END of day. Time to start consolidating. How many wagons did we have at that point? It was dumb. If you want to know my motivation for consolidating wagons it's simple: it was the end of the day and I wanted people to make a decision.

3. I'm not sure why you are trying to characterize consolidating at EOD and trying to stop that stupid SP CFD as scummy. It isn't. You know who also wanted to consolidate at the end of the day and stop that stupid SP CFD? Our confirmed Town Cop:

I don't see a CFD as productive at this point.  Thane at least gives info if he flips town.  Suppose we CFD onto AJ and he flips town?  What does that tell us other than that Des is a blowhard (already established fact)?

Thus illustrating that this thought comes from a Town mindset. Ie. My motivation is pretty clearly to help the Town.

You're not understanding my point. Thane and SP were town; scum wouldn't care which was lynched. You re-ignited the Thane wagon whether you believe that to be the case or not, and you weren't interested in switching to a new wagon on SP. As scum the only reason you would resist a vote spread is to prevent a new CFD onto Hallia if she is scum with you by having a buffer of Thane votes.

But if all three were town then that makes you less likely to be scum because you wouldn't need to consolidate on a wagon as all options were fine.

The way this has gone down to me points to a strong wolf team full of vocal players.

Yeah. I'm not as hot on Des as I was early-mid D1. The way he changed tact on Thane and then proudly said "called it!" was surreal. I've never seen him un-tunnel anyone in the eleventh hour like that.

But your logic is still off.

I said the two wagons should be Thane and Hally. I had a little bully joke with Alanna about precisely that, if you recall.

My stopping the CFD would have been actively preventing a new wagon from forming - thus potentially alleviating some pressure on scum Hally and removing a viable tertiary vote target. So if I were scum with Hally, how would that be helping my partner? It wouldn't.

You were weakening on Hallia at EOD and brought up a lot of points for lynching Thane. No idea how you can insist otherwise or say my logic is wrong.

U mad?
