Why would I try to appeal to someone who I think is prolly scum? I'm trying to point at his faulty reasoning and the way he's twisting events to suit his reads. Ergo, I am taking to everyone else. Not him.

 

What do I have to talk to him about, exactly? He sealed me as his scum lean from about his first post despite my content and he didn't really make any attempt to try to interact with me and poke my brain a bit to see if he might be wrong. So there isn't really much I have to tell him. Or care to.

My beef with Pral isn't that he's reading me as scum, even though I think it's kinda ridiculous that he is. My problem with him is that he's adjusting events and posts or takes things out of context... then presents them as facts. And based on that he shapes his reads. I find him completely out of his town range at this point.

I don't think I could ever have you as an obvtownie in games because you're a wildcard. I don't "get" you and your playstyle sometimes strikes me as odd. Not because it actually is odd... but more because I don't understand it. So as of rule, it's hard for me to lock my read on you, for better or worse.

He keeps calling me scum, but won't engage me. Doesn't sound like someone trying to solve the game to me.

So this is what I'm saying you should quiz him on. When he trips up? THEN state your case. Like yesterday I was talking to the mob about Thane to get people to join me on the wagon. When Thane showed up? I started talking to him about it directly. I think some of the people NOW claiming they started to get a Town feel on Thane likely got it because he was answering questions and had better tone in real time - jokey posts aside.

 

So you don't have to convince ME that he's adjusting the events. I'm reading the game. You have to ask HIM why he's doing it or if he even knows he is. That interaction will help me [and probably others] figure him out.
