Yeah.  The yeast responsible for that is called brettanomyces.  Usually when that happens it means your beer is infected.  Not only that, but your equipment has to go through a MAJOR cleaning and sterilization because brett is tough to kill.  Believe it or not, it can actually be used to create some really great beers - you just need to ferment at very controlled temperatures.  My friend makes an all brett saison that's pretty fantastic.  It imparts a tart fruitiness to the beer that is really enjoyable.

Anyway - we were talking about genocide and dumb Europeans mistakenly thinking they had landed in India and stuff like that in honor of this particular day.  I enjoyed it because I got a much needed day off!

Verb and Barm I'd like to know why neither of you voted at all.

Because I discovered that Da:O is free from EA (for PC) until today and got completely absorbed by the game. By the time I got back here the lynch had already been called so I just went to bed.

This is why I keep you guys around, how I learn half of the things.

yeah baby, let's rock that farmyard funk!

And this is why I love you.  TG is probably the only other person in here that would get that reference!  I had a gueze in Philly that was so funky, Geroge Clinton had to bow down in respect.

Brewery?

I can't remember. It was something foreign and had a weird name. It smelled like rotten cheese and BO. If you didn't inhale when you drank, it actually wasn't terrible. Kind of salty and tart. I want to say it was a 6 ounce pour. I don't think I could have handled any more than that.

Does everyone still have Nodler toward the bottom of their list?

Just by POE because I feel like some people have made themselves pretty obv Town by play and flips. I'm actually starting to lean more towards Tina scum.

Second on the lynch with no real effort to move anywhere else?  I'd be interested to see her interactions on D1 (there aren't a ton iirc).  If Verb is so adamant about scum being forced to bus, then maybe he should look at Tina.  Hallia was obviously a trap, so hats off to Nyn/Leelou for that one.

Why are you now talking like I'm a townie, when just yesterday you voted me and asked for a CFD on me?

@Yates, I can't believe you're green on this guy.

Tina - my updated reads, since you asked:

Dice - I probably don't need to expand on this.

Barm - Drove the LouNy wagon.  I kind of wish he had more thread presence but barring the hardest bus in the history of mafia this guy is Townsville.

Verb - I think I convinced myself above that Verb needs to be blue read for nailing Leelou right out of the gate.  That was crazy.  And the dude took flak for it.  I was already green reading him early on anyway because I liked how he handled my questioning.

Krak - If Krak is scum this game he deserves the win.  Seriously.  I said this even in my tinfoil post early on, the only time I've seen this kind of effort from Krak he was Town.  Plus, his thought process is totally transparent to me.  There's no agenda here.

Wolfish - I don't remember much from WBK but Mish looks really Town. I had some other stuff I can't remember but my notes are on my computer at work so I can expand in the AM.

Nolder - I really want to have Nolder as green, tbh. But POE has him here. I think he handled the heat on him well and his push on Hally early on looks like something he believed, in retrospect. I'm not a fan of how he treated day end as though he was trying to absolve himself of responsibility, though. That's the only thing that has me hedging.

That leaves

Tina - I never really had her as a scum lean.  I didn't have much of a read on her at all, actually, until I did an ISO.  I really didn't like her thread presence during the day and she didn't seem too concerned with getting the lynch right.  I don't know why she's been given a pass by everyone so I tried to find something I might have missed.  It just looks like a pile of meh.

You are town simply because of your blues.  I agree with you here, and that means if we are right, town can't lose unless scum shoots blues and the rest of the town falls apart and doesn't stick to the plan.

The Librarian was angry and an angry orangutan was nothing to sniff at. As evening fell he'd shambles back to the University carrying the body of Rincewind, which had literally been torn to pieces by the mob. This had sparked a discussion amongst the wizards. On the one hand advancement through the ranks via death of a senior member was a well understood concept, however nobody would admit to any burning desire to be an assistant Librarian1 and besides it probably wasn't a good idea to let the mob know that they could attack wizards with impunity. But on the other hand, the fire was roaring, the stockings were out, and they had a very healthy respect for things that say Boo (or worse BOO) in the night. The argument swung between retribution and marshmallows for quite a while before they were interrupted by a unexpected Bang from upstairs.

Ponder Stabbings was the one pushed to the front by the Archancellor to investigate.

"Hex" Stibnons returned with a single word, ashen faced. "it's collapsed"

"I thought it was internally supported by ei' 7b dimensions and that therefore the collapse or partial collapse was impossible" the Archancellor didn't sound at all like himself.

Stibbons merely pointed at the fireplace where the stockings had gone and the turnip was looking rather forlorn and mouldy.

"Speak up lad"

But Stibbons could merely shake his head and then wondered a few seconds later why he felt so sad.

1Especially since everyone knew that the only real duty that Rincewind had was keeping the real Librarian supplied with peanuts and bananas

Nolder, the Hogfather, Town has been killed

Verbal32

Last time I saw Verb as scum he pulled the whole "lynch me tomorrow" angle and led a successful lynch on me the next day, completely ignoring his claim to self-vote and won the game for scum. It would be easy enough to do it this time with little suspicion since there was a decent amount of pressure on me yesterday.

I am not locked in on this, so feel free to dispute me and call me stupid.

By the way, this only works when it is endgame - your suggestion that I'd be doing this on D-freakin'-2 is nothing short of astounding.....in that other townies aren't on your case for it.

@Nol & Hally - I know you guys do, so tell me who you think it should be

I don't disagree.

I know why I'm there.

I had some bad communication in the early game and even though I think I was improving before the lynch I moved my vote off Lee/Nyn just before the lynch. That looks bad, I'm not going to argue that. My plan for today is to do my best to determine who's scum and if I'm lynched you'll have my thoughts to move you forward with.

This is why Nolder is town.  Solo scum at this point will take any opportunity to snipe at why they shouldn't be there - not agree with it.....because then they need to stick with that plan, and they would never agree to lose the game, lol.

This is what's up as far as I'm concerned. Feel free to disagree but please do so in a format that engenders discussion.

Not to be lynched unless the unthinkable happens:

Krak

Dice

Misheros

Should not be lynched unless it comes down to it:

Barm

Verb

Secondary Lynches:

Yates

Tina

Primary Lynches:

Nolder

Hallia

^ and then this guy throws himself in as a blue......which if followed, would win the game for himself if he's scum.  A true townie would accept that they need to be lynched in order to POE solve the game......he won't do it.

Wow, Nolder was a bad kill.  He could have been a mislynch if people didn't listen to me (which seems to be happening, lol).

Interesting take by scum.

Actually, I take that back.  If I'm right and Krak is scum, killing Nolder is PERFECT to provide cover for why it wouldn't be him.

His easy defense is that he'd kill a blue....so going for some reverse psychology here.  Won't work.

Lol no

I could have gone for anyone else. Killing Dice, for example, would be a way better play for scum!Krak.

If you're scum then this would be the perfect gambit to pull and then pull this wifom on me .

I like how you ask the question and then answer it.

See how this works?

Colour me lost.

Guess another reread is due tomorrow...

Honestly didn't expect Nolder to be the kill. That's twice now that Dice hasn't been the kill... The one person everyone and their grandma (except for LouNy) has as solid town; to me that seems like the obvious kill for mafia to make now. Not Nolder, wich town still could be persuaded to lynch. Other good candidates would've been us, Barm, since none of us has really gotten alot of heat either.  Don't know if I'm tinfoiling now or if there's actually something there.. Dice hasn't really contributed much to scumhunting, has he? Hmm...
