darthes read list has me happy to put him into town list. I found tommys explanation of how to tell he is town or not really hit a cord and made perfect sense.

 

i agree with yates that poison seems like a SK weapon to me.

At a cursory glance, using the magic of feels I can tell you this:

 

My strongest villagers are slender, despot, tom, darthe and probably halligeddon after that. With the way the wagons were building yesterday combined with how they claimed I just couldn't see it coming from anyone but a villager.

I think tom, Despot, slender and darthe are being pretty transparent tbph, and they've taken it upon themselves to take the initiative and I sense a tinge of game solveriness and organic reads that I don't believe they're faking.

My strongest wolf lean is krak, because those wolfy pop ins yo.

I'm leaning town on dice and arsis. Dice because I think the fact that I was townread and otherwise ignored by everyone and he brought it upon himself to try and direct the conversation back at me looks pretty good in a vaccuum. I don't imagine wolves often being the first to throw a finger at someone who was out of everyone's poe.

 

I'm sponging the read on arsis because despot seems pretty convinced.

 

Everyone else is null or I've forgotten they're in the game as this is just reads from memory and I'll go more in depth once I get my hands on a computer

Frankly, I am surprised you are claiming healer. Because I thought you were scum before this. The reaction on D1 for TG's character claim (food-based) was totally different from what I was expecting as a town character (8 hours of sleep)

The main point of the Gambit was that I believed it was pretty likely that there was a town healer out there. Me asking the pointed question saves them the work and keeps them unexposed. Also, it might draw the NK/poison on us.

 

And the question needed yo be asked anyway. Cause its a topic where someone definitely has TMI and we know

Did you actually take a second to think this through or are you just responding out of frustration?

 

Option 1: Maybe they ARE a healer, decided not to help TG, saw the flip, feel bad about it, and now they are trying to distance?

 

Option 2: Maybe they ARE a healer, but maybe they are of the X Shot variety and didn't feel like "wasting" a heal on a Miller claim?

 

Option 3: Obviously they are NOT a healer as they didn't prevent old TG's death and the gambit has already been exposed since there is no "danger" of them healing old TG and preventing the kill from going through. Gambit over - why keep up the charade?

 

More thoughts in a bit but these guys are taking too much heat right now.

...scum didn't care who died today. Turin's wagon, like Vos's wagon, was full of >Rand townies. The same players shifted to the Krak wagon and then back to Turin over the course of about 3 hours. If Krak was scum, there would have been more "oh, me too!" votes on Turin. But there weren't.

 

The shadiest votes are the people who were OFF wagon. I think if we look back at Vos lynch we will find overlap between these groups.

While I understand your logic, my natural predilection is to disagree with the bold and to look at the people that were ON both wagons that resulted in non scum lynches. Of course, when I look at that list, I'm not surprised you would attempt to change the focus of suspicion.

I'm fairly confident in my Des Town read. I don't think I have disagreed with Slendy even once. If he is scum, my heart will be broken. So that leaves Tom and Arsis. Possible Tommy is the poisoner and Arsis is scum. I'd be okay letting scum take care of Tommy [since he is going to have to poison scum tonight] and letting NA's resolve Arsis.

Obv might be stuck in a tunnel but this post looked like posturing to me- like Yates trying to give himself an out for his soft pushing against Tommy (which is reminiscent of Yates' early game and his weak "traps")

Take it at face value. I can't find it but I think it was also you who said you would have expected to see me push harder on Tommy if I was convinced he was scum citing my vote on Tommy as evidence that I think he's scum?

 

The thing is, I'm not convinced Tommy is scum. I'm just not convinced Tommy is Town no matter how many times he says I'm dumb for not seeing his purported obv Towniness and throwing tantrums any time even a spec of suspicion is shined his way. THAT does not feel like a Tommy!Town reaction to me, fwiw.

 

So again I find myself wondering about this handful of people hard clearing Tommy for no reason. This is like my 100th post on the subject [warning: may be an exaggeration] but not one person is explaining themselves.

 

I would also like to point out that the overall lack of conviction Tommy has been displaying also reads as off to me. For example, I think if anyone else posted this post lynch but pre flip you would jump down their throats for "hedging," Des:

I also feel, Des, like if anyone else was trying to point out how obviously Town they were and how frustrated they were that everyone else in the world wasn't reading them as obvious Town without actually catching scum [eg. the way you treat Csarmi in every game] you would be on them like white on rice. The way you are treating Tommy right now illustrates to me that you aren't overly concerned with actually reading his slot and are just assuming things that are going to make us lose the game. What has he done in this game that you feel like he wouldn't/couldn't do as 3rd party for example? The way he tried removing 3rd party poisoner as even an OPTION is what got me started down this potential train of thought.

Not really.  Just that I'd be okay with you or Arsis either dying , being investigated, or being lynched based on wagon analysis and that Slendy is a tricky trickster if he's scum.

 

I could look at your theory a little more closely and weigh in on potential suspects off the wagon, I suppose, but I feel like that's a much larger list and have to figure out math based on setup spec.
