Don't like how Tommy is implying that anyone who distrusts his claim is scum. I say have his partner claim and then have Tsuki confirm that person. Then if all that works, we can have Tommy use his ability on whoever we lynch, assuming we decide to go that way.

Nope. He can do that any day and it will have the same effect. Now that he has hinted at being said role (which btw, has an official and regular name and has been in quite a few games on DM) anyone with half a brain knows what it is, how it works, etc, and mafia will be playing to that from here forward. This means that he is a target (I am likely one of VERY few protective roles to protect his investigative role) and that scum know what they have to do to avoid trapping themselves with this as much as possible. IMO, not worth my abilities combined with the double clear that you can provide on D1, those simply outweigh it and I can guarantee that he gets to D2 to do this again.

"PARKER!" shouted J. Jonah Jameson from his office, "get in here!"

Peter Parker smiled at the young blonde woman behind the desk. "Well, I guess I better get going," he said, "nice to meet you....?"

"Gwen," she replied, "Gwen Stacy. Nice to meet you, Peter." Parker floated towards Jameson's office, eyes still transfixed on the warm smile of the beauty behind the desk. Was it his Spidey-Senses making his stomach flutter like this? Or something else? Why were his pants so tight all of a sudden?

The door swung open and the air was filled with the putrid stench of a cheap Cuban knockoff cigar. "DAMNIT PARKER!" shouted Jameson, grabbing Peter by the shirt and dragging him into his office. He threw Peter into a chair and tossed a file full of photos onto the desk. "These photos are useless! When I ask you to get pictures of Mayor Gumba's arrest, I expect to actually see his face."

Peter stiffened. What was he talking about? Those photos were high resolution, HD with the new lens and everything. "Excuse me, sir?"

"Excuse you? EXCUSE YOU? LOOK AT THESE!" Jameson tossed a couple of photos at Peter and began pacing back and forth. "How are we supposed to run a front page article on the Mayor Gumba scandal if we don't have a friggen flappin picture to RUN WITH IT?!?!"

Peter swallowed. He couldn't believe it. He flipped through his photos. He noticed some kind of blur distorting each photo. In one, he could barely make out a face. "I...I don't understand, sir...."

"Maybe we can get Crumb to draw us a fancy little cartoon of Mayor Gumba....." groaned Jameson, "or maybe my 5 year old niece could fingerpaint us a front page picture! Either would look better than this crap you turned in, Parker!!! So, you know what?"

Peter groaned. "I'm fired?"

"You're damn RIGHT you're fired!" shouted Jameson, "and don't come back here until you can get me some good shots of Mayor Gumba! And they better be good, Parker! Or I'll fire you so hard, it'll feel like I fired you, then hired you back just to fire you again!!! You hear me?!"

Peter staggered out of the office, eyes focused on the pictures. In one he could see a face. He sat down at his desk and pulled up his photoshop program. He slammed in his thumb drive and pulled up his latest photos.

"That looks like.....like a man running" he sighed...."Wow, that guy must be fast!" Parker scratched his chin. "Who is this guy?"

It's not really WIFOM if people generally think him town, it just confirms me/another mason in the long run and the longer the three of us are around the more of a liability we become for scum. It totals to something very dangerous to them with little risk to town in comparison and if town hits a lull then targeting any of us three with any investigative PR essentially clears the others. I don't see the issue.
