I think this is either a mod given fake or a well crafted scum fake. Tommy already faked a PM from Mynd and no one questioned it so that's not impossible.

Your role is still bad and lacks flavor as has been pointed out, if it's real it's the weakest of town roles so I don't believe it. 

Furthermore IIRC Coulson (appeared to) died in Avengers 1 and isn't in Avengers 2 making the inclusion...odd. Granted a lot of our heroes aren't planned to be in Avengers 2 but still. It's the little things like this that make me more than a little sure. 

 

Lacks flavor? As I'm sure it has been pointed out, the main power role needs not have a fancy name. And as for me having a weak power role, that is just stretching. Whether not a person has a weak PR does not determine their alignment. Do you think that a role could be weak for balance sake?

 

As for your last sentence, read it again. You're contradicting yourself. You are currently trying to come up with any sort of weak reason even if it has absolutely no substanial basis or proof whatsoever so that you can make a case.

First of all [unvote]. I don't think Dawn, especially outed is a threat to town, and wont get us closer to our goal.

 

Secondly, even though I'm confused too by AJs sudden spite, I can sorta relate. The mass-claim game is no fun. Plus, either Mynd included full fake claims, given the scum some serious powers to compensate or has really screwed scums chances and game balance by alliwing pm quoting.

 

Thirdly, as an aside, my main role is formulated as the normal title of the role in mafia, then secondary passive role has a special name. Just to debunk the tinfoiling(!!!) on that.

 

Well, we could train jump from player to player, making everyone post their PM until we spot a forging or someone denies? Not very fun though, and possibly letting scum find some ways to take advantage.

Hoof, I don't think it will work that way. If Dawn's partner dies, that one faction would be entirely destroyed. Cult's do not completely die if the leader is killed. I don't think the game would be constructed that way.

@Rand - Really, post 3044 should make everything pretty clear.  Not to mention that you lectured me in that post on negative utility - which I had already covered in posts 3014 [where I mention two characters by name] and 3015 [where I clearly add an addendum to specifically remark about how that role would be balanced] - illustrating to me, at least, that you weren't reading for context or simply weren't fully caught up.

Not really sure why any of this matters since Dawn is the one being lynched and, as I have stated several times throughout the day, X's alignment will likely sort itself out through one of the eleventy bajillion NA's that people claim to have.

3044 and the grenade analogy was confusing as hell, I have no idea what you meant by that.  3014 is the post I originally called into question so you can't defend yourself with that.  3015 is just you saying how the role could be made weaker.  We have no idea what Mynd wanted to do to balance the game, so if he made a different version of it, that seems plausible.  Seeing all the roles he has created so far, there is no way in hell that a slightly modified role should be questioned, which once again brings me back to you overexaggerating the unlikelihood of a role.

Clarification: 4/6 list may not be as good as you think, and I'm pretty sure some of the people you've taken off the original list aren't LOCK CLEAR as in you know because they are your masons or jailkeeper.  We can't take strong townreads off the list, max we can do is put them in a different color.  Taking them off the list at this point is misdirection. (For clarification: not a case against you, but I am arguing against your method)

 

Second, with Dawn's claim (which I don't believe is a false claim because of whoever found the venom symbiote thing in the first place), Dawn accounts for one of the 4 scum, but isn't really important in haveing us win this game.  Secondly, and I want Dawn to answer this question

 

DAWN: IS THE SECOND PERSON YOU ARE WITH ALSO ON THAT LIST FROM THAT TRAIN?  BASICALLY DOES THAT PERSON ACCOUNT FOR A SECOND SCUM?

 

If that person does then we basically have 2 scum out of the original, what, 10?  That's not stellar numbers.  Even if the 6 people you have accounts for all the non-LOCK clears like I said above, thats a 1/3 chance of catching scum, which while better than 1/4, isn't some stellar number.  So basically @AJ we're not in some crazy town will win no matter what situation right now.

K like I said before, I believe this.  Third party with these kind of weak powers, imo, reveals that there are more scum than normal.  So once again, the 2 out of 6 possibility isn't superb.

Oh and RE: AJ and anti-town: I kind of felt the same before I started working things out, but AJ there's no such thing as fair and not fair in a mafia game.  It's a mod's responsibility to make the rules and setup, and we the town play to that as best as we can.  Unless you claim mod-level knowledge, for all you know, every single piece of information could have been fabricated by some amazing mafia role (idk: Mysterio or something like that, Mysterio's probably too small to be in here though) and all town is going in the wrong direction.  Don't believe you're town as much as acting on your primary emotional impulse and not after logical thought.
