fair points Colv, i could go with a competing train on Despo & Tsuki today.

I stand corrected, although the OP doesn't state that... *shrugs*

Doesn't change much. I find Wombat and Despo scummy; Nyn picks on me, Town read; and You are trying way to hard to collect half-arsed lists; Turin you ain't.

Red is confusing, I HATE WoT that never seem to say anything...

1 - Hoof has posted its a hammer game multiple times int he thread.  not his fault your not reading along.

2 - you could post cases on why you think those two are scummy instead of going into lurk mode and looking like nothing more than a wagoner

3 - while Mynd is almost lock scum to me, at least he's being active, and no offense to Turin but Mynd would run circles around him with both legs tied behind his back.

4 - my WoT's say a lot, you just parrot what Despo's been trying to feed everyone because A - your his scum buddy and B - your too lazy to read them.

And a WoT that doesn't say a damn thing.

1 - Show me.

2 - Case or no case, you would still say I am wagonning

3 - LOL. There is a rule about ongoing games, Or I would tell you a story.

4 - Your WoT could be a hell of lot less annoying if you didn't insist on quoting the same crap 15 times. At least put the bloody repeat quotes in spoilers.

first that aint no WoT dude, hate that for you.  and your exaggeration on it gives you absolute no town cred

1 - why dont you just read the thread instead

2 - no, if you had a case then you're showing that you've come to your OWN decisions as to why someone diserves to have your vote.  by saying " I don't have a lot to contribute that other people aren't saying,"  states that you're intent on using other people reasons for voting to keep your mitts clean when they flip town

3 - dont care about on going games.  i've played with turiin many of times and i've played with mynd numerous times.  right now hes rusty but let him get the training wheels off and turin wont hold a candle stick to him.  not saying turins a bad player, i like playing in games with turin.  i just laugh at the "you aint turin" comment

4 - i dont quote the same quotes over and over.  the only time i repeat quotes is wheni pull a case on someone to show how i came to my OWN conclusion of why they're scummy.  perhaps you should try it.

4 - you just did. You could have deleted everything but my response, rather than just clicking Quote and typing. By the time you get done with just this little conversation, your post is gonna be two feet long.

So were you already leaning town on him at the point you voted him then, or did that conclusion come after the fact?

At the time I placed the vote, he was Null to Town, based on BS gif posts and that's about it. Then he started actually posting stuff with content, so I pulled back. At the moment, I think he is trying hard to seem like he is scum hunting, he is asking people for reads (but only on those he already has his own strong opinions on), and generally being active - If I had a bullet, I wouldn't shoot him, best I can say.

so when he was spamming you found him town ... but then he started to "scum hunt" and you lean scum on him

Then what would YOU call it? A "Fence of Text", since it is short?

1 - And go through 50 pages of emo-Cory? Mod said it is hammer, it is hammer. Besides, wouldn't have to read it, just ISO BH.

2 - Have I placed a vote?? NO. I am not keeping my "mitts" clean. I have no real opinions on anyone right now, other than those I have stated. 300 quotes won't change it. Unlike some people, I case when I feel I am on to something, rather than flailing in all directions. Suprised you haven't cased yourself, by now.

3 - Turin asks for lists. Mynd is asking for lists. Turin asks for broad lists, regardless of his views. Mynd is asking for lists based on who HE has opinions on. Turin wins. Who gives a crap about anything else, I was talking about LIsts.

4 - See above (notice how I shortened this by taking out redundant quotes?? Try it sometime.)

underline - i had him as null to town because of spam

italics - then he started actually playing so i "backed off"

well you didn't unvote him as soon as he started non-spam so the "backed off" bit must mean you were no longer pinging him as town.

no i call it a response

1 - ven better yet you didnt.

2 - i dont case people i know are town, i know i'm town, you i'm leaning scum on. and i'm not flailing in all directions, i've been chewing on the same bones for quiet some time.

3 - news flash - everyone asks for lists, its not just a turin or mynd thing.  tommy was continuously asking for lists this game as well womby and darthe and despo.  you'd know that if you read the thread.  at this point your not a lurker, you're just straight up not playing.

4 - its called keeping a conversation in context so others can read the whole thing and judge the convo and info theirselves instead of going on he-said she-said.

This is amusing, go on Tsuki. Tell us more about how you couldn't care less about this game.

MIght've misspoke. Let me rephrase "I could care less if I get lynched, because it is not my job to be alive the last day". Plus, butting heads gets me more interested.

MIght've misspoke. Let me rephrase "I could care less if I get lynched, because it is not my job to be alive the last day". Plus, butting heads gets me more interested.

In regards to who is town, who is scum, and the in-between.  Logic helps with that.  So do cop reads as well.  A lot of this, for me at least, is process of elimination.  Would someone do this if they are scum, would they have posted that if they were town.  That sort of thing.

To address something mentioned earlier, I only create lists for my own reads.  I don't recall asking anyone for lists, but I did ask certain people directly who they would prefer to lynch.  From my POV and the information I have based on Darthe and Lenlo's flip as well as other things, my list of possible scum has been narrowed down quite a bit.

I also think that it is a townie's duty to avoid a mis-lynch if at all possible, including your own.  I used to be a lot more distracting when I played mafia, trying to rattle the scum into making a mistake.  I've learned, however, that there are better ways to do that without distracting the town as well.  Your performed apathy regarding your own chance at being lynched seems disingenuous.   If you were town, why would you not care about us mis-lynching you.  You are acting more like a cornered scum.

A proper casing of the players would help change some minds.....though the list of possible scum has gotten a lot shorter in the last phase turn.

Because when I flip Town, those better at reads than I am will be able to look at who pushed at me, and use it to further their analysis. That is not a bad thing, is it?

We lost Tommy, but Got Lenlo - Even night. We are only down 1 town, due to Cory's BS.

By analyzing who pushed at Tommy, then made the mid-train votes (where I feel scum should be), and then compare to who takes me down, it should really narrow things down.

But when you give yourself reason to be lynched, it becomes a lot harder to get any kind of info out of that.  You run the risk of other townie players totally believing you are scum and rightfully so.  Consider Tommy's lynch.  He totally deserved that lynch.  I was 99.9999% convinced he was scum.  Granted, he admitted his errors, but still, here is a case where several townies believed he was scum based on his actions and they had legit reasons.

When a player looks scummy and acts scummy or apathetic to their lynch and isn't contributing to the town, then I wouldn't blame any townie for lynching that player.

They will be smart AND beautiful - plus, we shall teach them kung-fu!!

YOU CAN'T HAZ MAH WOMAN

YAY!  A wild Quibby appears!

Cory is overselling his townie status in this game already.

I also find it interesting those players who start off with "Hey everyone, village person here!"  Sounds overly desperate.

Found this to be sketchy (considering he was in fact, village.  What about the other what, 3 people that did this?

@ halia
theres a difference between being an emotional player and trying to use your own meta to clear yourself.
Cory is milking the AtE angle and its coming off as compensating.

Disliked this post.

Started writing - fell asleep - then posted. got a big ninja'd there. Liking Reds latest post alot.

Cory is naturally a very emotional player.  He's passionate, so anyone that uses that as a scum tell is scummerific, I think.

Uch. Same BS RTE pulled. Its ok to try to clear your other hydra-head - but the whole "I'm town - and everyone who doesn't agree is scum" is tiresome - and utter BS. Nobody said you guys were scum because Cory is an "emotional player".

Also rolling my eyes at Corys constant "If you don't agree with me you are stupid"-stance. If you are town and wants us to see what you are seeing - make compelling cases and we'll read them and consider your points.

^ I liked this, although, it was posted post suicide, so I'm leery.

Shall continue reread!

Ok, I am seriously confused about Lenlo's death. Who NKed him, and why? It was impossible to tell if he was scummy or not since he barely got to post. Nothing makes sense here. It would be way more helpful if a more active scum ended up being killed so I could actually look at his interactions with other players, but it's much better than having a townie killed.

I'd say Despo is most likely to be scum. I've been having scum reads on him the whole game and said that if Tommy was town, he'd almost for sure be scum.

This is true. And if all the townies go "aaaaah nobody listens to me, just kill me now *swoon*" then town will die out pretty fast.

Yeah, because if you are all hands-in-the-air-like-you-just-dont-care then you will draw out alot of town votes. Scum could probably just sit back and watch town tear itself apart.

Now, off to work, so I won't be able to finnish up my reads list before later, but I'll add my 2 cents now and a vote.

Wombat has smelled iffy the whole game. Sometimes more than others, but his role in this game has certainly been blowing air at the flames keeping them alive. That is the role scum would take in a game like this where town has already done a good job bickering amongst themselves.

Also, before I begin, I'm really trying to figure out if I should ignore the rest of Dawn's posts for the duration of my mafia career, for my own sanity, or if I should risk it and try to analyze her play and determine yet again if it's a DERPtown situation or if she's scum hiding behind her derpness. Her .... "reasoning" for voting me in her last post is just..... I mean I shouldn't have to point out it's terrible, but again, is it legit her just not making any sense, or hiding behind terrible reasoning as scum? Blech.
