tbh i've been following along since late on Friday but have been unsure on how to respond.

 

the atmosphere of this game is poisonous, not even sure at this point if i want to be associated with this game given what happened to Tommy.

 

 

it was utterly disgusting to see and read all of that. not saying that Tommy wasn't low blowing, all sides of this ruined my WIM in this game.

 

 

that said, Darthe, Despo, and Wombat to a smaller point, should be ashamed of themselves. seriously i'd expect that type of behavior form a group of 13 year old hormone ridden insecure mean girls, but not from grown men that should know better than to act like that. theres one thing to taunt someone you think is scum, and another to take it far over the line like has happened in this game.

 

 

maybe in a day or two the atmosphere of this game will turn around, but right now i'm just not feeling it tbh.

 

I find it hard to believe that Red has been following since Friday and didn't chime in at all.  If I were one to investigate at night, I think Red would be a very interesting target, especially how easily she cleared (and defended) Tommy.

While I agree it's been a bit rough on thread lately, I think we should try to move on with the game. Everyone complaining about their WIM and about the gameplay one way or another. Not helping.

 

Cory and Tommy is dead, and it sucks that we are already down two townies.

 

I think we shouldn't disregard Tommys reads, but not look too much into them either. Nor anyone who claims they have lock!solved the game. Tommy didn't have more information than any of us (except scum and the mod). And I think Tommy played scummy enough to warrant some slack to his train. Still worth looking for opprtunism or apparent bussing.

Easy for you to criticize people when you were completely MIA when it was going down, Red.  As distasteful as you found reading that after the fact, it was much worse to live it.

It wasn't after the fact if she was reading it in real time and just not posting.  IMO a townie thing to confess since it has a lot more potential to harm her than help her but still raises my hackles a bit.  Is that fencesitting?  Maybe, IDC, it's how I consider things like that.  Tend to be great newbie tells.

To me, that logic only works if Tommy flipped scum.  He flipped town to many of our surprise.....but Red was still convinced he was town even with all that garbage going on.  As did Nyn and a couple others.  

 

No, I think she was advised to hang back during all of that mess by her mafia team.  Red is a pit-bull but someone put her in the kennel during all of that.

@Des, I am really interested in seeing a case on her.  Logical and concise plz, I can form my own opinions of how she is treating things and WHY she would do it, I think that is biasing me against your casing.

Its wasn't after the fact. I kept up with it via my phone and the convo in general was not only harshing my buzz but I didn't want to associate myself with the hate fest on both sides by jumping in. I saw tommys reveal which only affirmed my belief in him being legit town and was more than happy to consider him tree stump town and lynch RTE instead.

 

And when I said I was disappointed in the entire atmosphere that included tommy ad well. But tbh I expected more of you, despo & Sarthe and was surprised to see you lot go "beat a cornered dog to death" on tommy. I get y'all thought he was dvum tho I didn't agree with it. But that to me went over the line a bit.

 

Yes I tap dance the line myself but when I know my point is made about finding a person scummy and they start to go nuclear I'll back off of them.

Reading back, I suspect that Red's mafia team told her to hang back to not generate heat on her while the Tommy/RTE vs Darthe/Des/Womby battle took place.  I'm starting to think RTE is town as well.  I can see the Mafia team telling Red to cool it if neither possible lynch had a scummy on it.  Sure, Tommy is mostly to blame for his own lynch, but I suspect that among Darthe/Des/Womby that one of them was another scummy keeping the focus on Tommy.  I will say that a town PGO is a dangerous role to have in the game. 

 

Red has a knack for getting heat on herself by defending others.  It was unnatural for her to hang back like she did.

If you actually read, I DID chime in more than once.  I was utterly convinced that Tommy was a scum turtle on his back flailing around.  Now that he flipped town, I am looking strongly at those who believed him to be town.  His posts were so bad, at one point I considered that he might be a Fool or Jester player.

I mentioned the possible gambit multiple times.  I specifically mentioned mislogic once, and also mentioned all the times he pinged in my catchup.  And just so you understand, when I say gambiting I'm referring to my idea that he and Darthe were scum together.  Relevant posts below:

 

 

At p. 37.  I'm getting there.   Can't decide if you and Tommy are D1 distancing or not.  Des looking solid town even with some badlogic.  Nyn looking solid scum with zero content contributed.  RTE looking town to me.

I suggest any townies who want to solve the game click back to my colored reads list and read the following several pages, there's good information there.

 

There's no reason for people to immediately jump on my list for being "garbage" unless I was just getting too close to a solve and they got scared by that (Darthe and Wombat).

 

 

This makes no sense.  You throw aspersion on Darthe and Wombat for reacting to a list where you have them both as town reads. Then you say the reason for their reaction is because you are too close to solving the game.  If they were town they would have no idea.  If they weren't, then you wouldn't be close.
