Len starts to get some votes on him, acts very happy about it

After that I've seen no signs of you clearing yourself as town/looking for scum, rather just throwing a lazy vote at Amega and insisting on keeping just slightly off topic.

I tore this post apart twice now but my comp wouldnt let me post it. Ill tldr since im on my phone.

 

At no point in the bold did you ever call me scummy or give analysis. You instead summated with a bias of your views which doesnt help anyone and looks bad on you.

 

Youve also failed to explain any part of your reads here. Calling my vote lazy doesnt make it so or explain how its lazy.

Calling me off topic doesnt mean I have been.

All of these pushes and nudges are directed at my character in this game based on the way that you said them. They arent at my alignment, theyre at me and that shows me that you just want me lynched. Now I have to determine if its that you dont like me or that youre scum trying to use it to your advantage. Either way its bad play. Ive been one of the most present and active players in this game, maybe the most if you drop lens joke posts.

This is misattribution.  Your entire segment in parentheses is your opinion being used to affect my statements.  That's a logical fallacy since we have different perspectives.

Yes, I made a statement about lurking.  Does that have anything at all to do with my alignment as a statement?  No.  Did you give it one?  Yes, here since you called me scummy.  Assigning value like that is a statement of character because it is again about my perception rather than my logic or reasoning ability.

Actually, the reasons were discussed a lot.  You can disagree if you wish but this is again a direct misrepresentation intended to do nothing except make me look bad.  Check HERE for proof and read the ~10 posts before that.

You clearly don't want to claim despite it being pretty agreed on that we have little (see: NO) reason to not claim.  It has no negative affect for town and you've been the main detractor from the idea.

Playing coy about my claim was bound to get the mafia after me. I felt AJ's first post about a massclaim was superscummy, but I wanted to see what came from it. And then when he immediatley jumped me when he came back... It sealed the deal.

I wouldn't call it superscummy though, but it's certainly nothing but distracting both now and later in the game. Neither town nor mafia has a direct gain or loss from it - so who are the only one who has a gain in putting focus where it doesn't matter? 

 

Earlier you said that scum can earn points by using a good fake claim - I would call that gain which apparently you would as well. They could also mess up and claim something that later becomes questionable as we learn more info. I would call that a loss. It puts them off balance because it makes them less flexible. I would certainly call that a gain for town as well.

 

Why are you ignoring the obvious? I don't care that you are against claiming, that's perfectly fine. However, your argument here and the way the bolded sounds I don't like. You are saying in a roundabout way that since the claims don't matter either way, those pushing the idea are only trying to distract.

What I find funny here is that instead of just claiming and getting it out of the way like you could have, or simply saying that you weren't going to, you continue to bring the issue back up to argue your perspective and now try incriminating others for it.

I like Wombat's activity but I get the vibe that he's more looking for a reason to vote someone than actually hunting for scum. I think some of his pushes/cases have been sort of weak, he's latching onto small things and driving them into the dirt.

 

That's very different from how I see him here.  To me this looks like oldschool DM play before we brought in all the new "logic based" players.  Womby looks great to me atm.  

 

Agree to disagree I guess. It could also just be my paranoia, but I think some of the pushes are on townies (Len, for example) and I also don't think Amega looks very scummy. The vote swap to TG also looked a little pointless and unnecessary imo.

 

That said - I'll keep what you say in mind. I'm not calling him a scum read, exactly, but I certainly don't trust him or get warm and fuzzies at this stage of the game.

So, quick summary of the things that stands out. For now Womb and Darthe has stood out the most as suspicious to me. Especially wary of Womb dangling his scum-alignment in front of towns noses with the points for claiming, and giggling about it in the QT. 

 

Also iffy feeling by Darthe and Lens interactions, reads a bit like half-hearted distancing. 

 

Could go either way here. Do we have a deadline yet?

I didn't get that Vos was asking for a deadline to determine how/when he should vote. I think he was just asking if there was a deadline, simple as that. That whole angle seems a little overblown to me.

 

I didn't realize that post of Vos's was a case either; it just read to me as a biased summation of Darthe's actions - maybe 'biased' is the wrong word, but I think your case would be more effective, Vos, if you presented clear arguments instead of your own interpretation of events. Because right now I'm not clear on what your case on him is.
