How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love Lenlo

Can I get a copy of this book? I know some peeps who need it.

Catching up again and yeah, Basel is seriously starting to ping.

Running audit now however. Should be quick, I'll finish catching up tonight

And let's not talk about wagonomics Day 1 - I have seen entire scumgroup dodge a townlynch for towncred and entire teams go on because people think it's unlikely. It's not relevant at all, it's much more about the players than any of rule of "x amount are on each lynch"

If Darthe wants to debate this with me I welcome it

BLECH BLECH BLECH

So, wait, that's your main comment on the clov wagon? That's a blatant copout.

In any case, it is not about how many are on each lynch. I am talking about those who didn't have any read on Clov  or had a town read on CLov and suddenly started having a scum read on him as the deadline was approaching and Tom made a case on him. You were one of those and the three others (Mish, Len and Tsuki) are all on your top town list. Really? You don't see any opportunistic voting there? Why are you avoiding it?

It is interesting that your only read on the Clov wagon was that I abstained from voting because i wanted towncred. Basically, your summary of your case on me is that I  called your scum reads as town, the town flips as town and your town reads as scum? Anything else?

Clov liking Darthe makes a lot of sense. His push against Nommy yesterday was about as nonsensical as most of Darthe's posts this game

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAA @ post #816

Darthe is LOCK SCUM here people. He was hardcore defending his meta read on Basel the last time Basel was brought up, then all of a sudden drops a scummy scummy nudge.

Btw I'm of the unpopular opinion that Basel might actually be town here. It's a bit associative, a bit meta, but yeah I've seen him be wrong a lot as town. Around where I'm reading, his read on Nommy looks bad but it could easily be confbias (Basel started with a joke vote there on Nommy). Just get the feel he's being a lot more out in the open and as scum I doubt he'd go @ Nommy like that.

However, he wasn't "going all out without abandon" early on like Pray was saying, and I think Darthe's bizarro flip on him tells you what you need to know about Darthe.

So Basel looks villa now, Pray and Darthe both still look terrible. Amega looks bad as well, his confrontational tone with Cory is a bit different from the tone he had last time I saw him aggressive (where I correctly read him as town). Hallia could be scum but I kinda doubt she would be with Darthe (I'll explain why later).

Still catching up but this game def looking close to #solved

I am gonna wot so hard once I'm caught up I'll likely make several of you cry. Just prepare yourself in advance

*hands out tissues to everyone*

Townies will weep for the gloriousness of it, scummers will weep and likely wet themselves cause they'll know I'm coming for them

Darthe's vote on Clov is WOAT. I can't even link it, my browser said the post is too scummy to create a gateway too, that it might infect my comp with scumviruses

"I see what you're saying about Clov Tommy but if he flips town I'll be upset with you"

So I'm mainly just quote grabbing hilarious gifs now btw

SCUMHUNTING CAN WAIT, FIRST I HAVE TO POINT OUT THAT I, TOO, THINK A PARTICULAR GIF IS AMUSING

So if you really think im scum show me why in other post's i've made. since then instead of clinging to a sarcastic post which shows exactly nothing to prove your point.

Im not trying to lynch a townie But you are

Im not trying to discredit or lay out wifom. You are.

I'm not blowing things out of proportion. you are.

This post seems to boil down to "but I'm TOWN! TOWN!" It's like Amega is trying too hard to tell us that he's town. Unvote. Vote Amega.

Here.

I think Mish's post here broke DragonMount's quote tag limits

The Misheru Reborn, breaker of quote tag limits!

Ok that won't be funny to those of you who's only here for the mafia and not the books.

I appreciate cory calling me a "she". Watch a lot of anime, do you?

MIsh and Cory seem to do a real good job casing people, and give a lot of info. At the risk of being accused of "Just Following along", I'm gonna say that alot of what you say seems

to ring, but I have a few observations of my own, and a few revisions to my reads:

Tommy - I don't like Amega. I am not a fan of becoming over-defensive on day 1. He did that. There are town reads on him by some, but I am not convinced.

Basel is doing the same thing she was doing in the UOAT game, and she rolled town on a D1 lynch. Seems that BG is often rolled that way on d1. Leaning town.

Hallia lurks. It is what she does. Slight Town read. She is more active as scum (at least was in the last series of games I played, 9 months ago, LOL)

Mish strikes me as town, sticking her neck out, tunneling in on darthe despite how it could look (a day one tunnel, usually not good)

Len hasn't been active enough for me to make a decent read.

Clov - Town read, lots of prods in all directions.

Tommy - town read, tryin to get answers, digging well, pulling in inactives.

This was posted by me earlier. I must admit, I have been putting most of my focus in other places, but I definitely have been following along. The clov read, listed above, fell victim to Tommy's case. Sux. Maybe I should have stuck with it... On the same note, at least I called Nommy right...Adding to these...

basel and Hallia - I JUST started a game with both of these players - and something is screaming at me. Hallia's meta is completely different here. When I made this judgement about lurking, she had few posts, with little meaningful content - which is what I was used to seeing from her, and pointed to what I thought was her town-play. Now, she is actively casing, soft-defending Amega, and nudging people casing darthe (her "strange, strange, creature):

I don't really  know much about basel, but Amega's play for this game seems town to me.  Darthe, I earlier felt was scum, and got flak from people for it.

I haven't seen this from her recently, and it pings.

Mish made the comment about basel and Hallia posting elsewhere, but not in this thread (Me as well, but she left me out for some reason - shame on you!). This is common to both of them, but the post content

between this and the other game - trying to actually case people?? Unheard of.

TBC...

First bold: if that game is still ongoing, try not to use it here. Active games shouldn't be talked about elsewhere, unless both you and the person in question is dead there, and even that's a gray zone.

Second bold: Lol I wasn't activley hunting for people posting elsewhere, I just happened to see posts from those two elsewhere :P

Here's my issue.  If we lynch one of them I know exactly where you're going.  It gets ignored that I called em town all game and I am the final mislynch.

They are flipping town so that isn't happening so long as I am here.  Too many of these freaking weak townies shouldn't have signed up.  The apathy ends this game for my team and I can't half ass work with it.

Interested in some other people showing some WIM plz  :flamingsword:  :flamingsword:

I have WiM! But I also have migraines. They tend to make my WiM hard to see.

(get it? Hard to see? Cause when I get a migraine my vision goes a bit woah.)

What gives, Basel? Hally or Amega... And where's the case?

It's back on D1. i can dig it up in a minute.

*raises eyebrow* So. You completly ignore all points I and Cory have brought up on you. This is the only thing you comment on, and you only give the case on Amega... Wich is one post. Wow.

unvote vote Basel

I'd be fine with either Darthe or Basel lynch today.

Before I respond to this, let's put it on the record that I am now getting, say, slightly aggravated with you constantly sniping and attempting to discredit me it a weasel-ly way while SIMULTANEOUSLY completely ignoring everything I've asked you this game. Don't feel like gunning through the thread to find the other things I've asked you and you ignored, but here is the latest.

It's rude to ask me questions constantly without answering mine. You don't want to be a rude Mafia player, do you?

Pral, I'm going to give you tips for casing me since I am your top read - you NEED to elaborate better and make something I can follow or else I am going to go full bore until you are hanging from the rafters

Off the top of my head I remember three things you've FoSed me for:

I had a post where I told villagers they needed to read the thread and stay involved and do villagery things mostly spread from the awful taste in my mouth after TRW

I'm getting pretty sick of DM towns.

It's the "WaFia" mentality of everyone act scummy and we'll just lynch annoying players.

IF YOU ARE TOWN, YOU HAVE TWO GOALS:

1) CLEAR YOURSELF AS TOWN (THROUGH EFFORT, GOOD ANALYSIS, WHATEVER)

2) LYNCH MAFIA

If you're FoSing somebody for doing #1 you are going to struggle to do #2

Not really getting good vibes on this early show of frustration by Cory. It is too early to get frustrated and because of that it seems fake - as if trying to get some town cred. Also, putting a bit of fear on newer players that they might mess up.

As you may know the reason I was not involved in this game for the three tweener days of Day 1 was because I was in the Champs game which was absurdly time-consuming. For shits and gigles, my first post, less than an hour into THAT game I made the following post:

I would like to remind every townie in the game (perhaps some additional motivation): town has never won a Champions game so far, and they have never even come close.

One of the major reasons for this is the numerous amounts of non-alignment indicative ego-battling that is going on. It turns out when you throw a handful of "strong" players together, they tend to policy lynch any way. Isn't that disgusting?

So, if you are a villager, make it goddamn obvious ASAP. Put the work it, read the game, reread the game, find inconsistencies and the people who are just rolling with the waves. The quicker we can get an intelligent, organized and concise town base the quicker we can POE the Mafia and get a massive head start.

If you try to get a player you don't "like the attitude of" who is a problitown, I will consider that a scumclaim.

If you decide you are too good to contribute, I will consider that a scumclaim.

Game on.

There are plenty of people that understand my meta, the fact that I generally give more effort as town and am frequently frustrated with town's who don't put in any work.

So, question 1: why does me being frustrated make me Mafia?

why does me attempting to facilitate better townplay make me Mafia?

IIRC you FoSed Kaylee for voting Amega at some point saying the timing was bad. I asked you why your reads were conditional on a Town!Amega flip and I don't remember you ever replying.

And you just FoSed me for ignoring something on a reread I haven't done yet.

I'm not antagonizing you to case me - I hope you do, and I hope you give me something FOLLOWABLE and insightful. If I wanted to, I'm pretty sure I could bury you this game, so GET TRANSPARENT FAST if you are a villager and give me some ACTUAL thoughts.

ANYWAY

I've never been into Day 1 wagon "analysis" - for people reading Clov, my notepad is on my home computer but I don't remember Clov's alignment being discussed much. Off the top of my head, me and Darthe had slight villa leans, Kaylee though he might be Mafia, Tommy thought he was Mafia. Tommy provided a pretty damn good case on him and he's a voice people listen to, so debating who on the wagon was town following Tommy and who was opportunistic scum and who was scum staying off for towncred seems ARBITRARY. Me and Darthe had this argument for three pages in Twilight - that's not how I play. I formulate on thought process and tone - if you don't like that I think wagonomics is really only useful on scumflips and lategame POE, deal with it. I'm not changing for anyone. We have a thread full of info and I've already elaborated on what I disliked about yours and Basel's EOD.

If you have thoughts about EOD, provide them yourself instead of nudging me to come to your conclusion FOR you.

And I don't appreciate the terms "cop out" or saying I am "avoiding something" - we are different players, if you are FoSing me for not seeing the game the way you do TELL ME WHY THAT'S MAFIA BEHAVIOR instead of just sniping me. What are your contributions this game?
