Pacific Tech University President Dr. Eugene Meredith should have known that something was amiss when his office door was standing open, and his secretary's desk was unattended.  However, as brilliant as the man was, Dr. Meredith was known for being a bit oblivious to his surroundings.

 

Still, as he entered the richly appointed office, he managed to be aware of the large box beside the door containing all of the personal effects that had cluttered the surface of the mahogany desk and provided focal points on the walls for students who were too nervous to meet his eyes.   And the presence of the chairman of the university's Board of Trustees, seated in his leather swivel chair, certainly did not escape his notice.

 

"Gene," the chairman said softly as he stood.  "We have a situation here.  I'm afraid the board has demanded your resignation, effective immediately."

 

Confusion swept across Dr. Meredith's kindly face.  "What is this, Frank? What's happened?"

 

"There have been reports.  Serious reports of conditions that present a public hazard, unacceptable student behavior, alarming reports that have gone unaddressed."  Frank looked at the respected professor with regret.  "Including the hallways of a dormitory coated with an experimental chemical ice... tampering with the university's power grid... fires and structural damage to property both on and off campus caused by unsupervised student experiments with dangerous equipment... widespread reports of sexual harassment at a student led event held in one of the lecture halls... This just can't go on, Gene.  I'm sorry."

 

Dr. Meredith spluttered, his face red.  "This is preposterous, Frank!"

 

Frank's eyes darted quickly to the door, and he lowered his voice to the barest whisper.  "There has been pressure on the Board of Trustees.  Government pressure.  Something big."

 

"I'm sorry, Gene," he spoke at a normal volume. "There's nothing I can do.  You'll be leaving now."

 

 

Clov, Dr. Meredith, Vanilla Town, has been fired from Pacific Tech.

cory that is incorrect. And it only got personal when you took it to that level. If you thought i was taunting you in the beginning then im sorry. I was merely pointing out that the whole game pretty much let tommy run the show even though the majority of our team where prominent scum reads. And he did that by linking himself with you. And since he wasn't doing it here as much made me feel a little better about him.

My case actually was quite good -- I just didn't know Clov posts the same useless questions as town.

 

Your avoidance of the lynch yesterday was B.S. because you said "I won't follow your case because I think you're scum."

Yet when prompted for reasoning as to how you're reading me as scum, you give some vague meta reasons relating to a game you hosted, not even played in.

 

Newsflash: I'm playing nothing like I did in that game.
