Also, I'd like a waffle and a small pony.

We are having waffles?

Des brought brownies, now we're having waffles.  If this is to be expected, I will pledge my sword to the DragonMount mafia wars without reluctance.

My question is, how trustworthy are these brownies?

Like, you question whether they satisfy the few basic requirements an object has to meet in order to qualify as a true brownie?  Or you think the brownies are going to lie to you on the way down?  Not sure the angle you're shooting, but I'm giving you fair warning, I've thrown people off a 37 story skyscraper for insulting dessert items before.

No, I haven't.  Just didn't have anything else clever to say there.

Of the four claims:

Tina

Len

Des

Me

I find them scummy to townie in that order, myself inclusive because I know it to be true.  From an outside perspective I would consider Len and Des vetted and my claim far less suspect than Tinas.

Outside of that group of four I am not willing to lynch

Dawn, Clov, Tommy, Laya

Leaving

How was your 'not willing to lynch' group made?

Town reads.  Reeling from the claims of the two I most suspected I don't really have good scum leans atm so I am going from town/null atm.

I'd prefer we didn't No Lynch. I'd offer myself up before that.

Why?

Give a real answer, I didn't like it either.

Think about it.

I have thought about it, and I've failed to come up with any answer that suggests a Pro-town motive for your statement.  That's why I asked what your reasoning was.

you consider len and des vetted darthe? why?  after all the arguing you think des is mafia and the talk about how basic lens questions were, you arent leaning, or reading them town  you think they are vetted? unless there have been a number of cop views ive missed i dont see how.

dont like that post.

vote darthe

Vetted.  Did you miss the part where they have roles that only match up with a single person in the series that is clearly pro-town?

Vetted.

Posted

to some extent Edward could match a Oracle role too  as could Aro .

plus we dont KNOW that one or both of them aren't lying. It makes SENSE for their claims to be what we have surmised but that is not vetted as you should well know

Posted

Compared to the one that sees the future?

Don't think so.

Also, Edward is dead.

Des can prove himself by killing someone while mafia NK's someone.  2 kills = he is a vig or third party

Len can prove himself by answering things mafia can't know and barring that we can bleed him for info and take him out in couple days.

Any reason you want to get rid of either right now?

Posted

dont put words in my mouth.

yes they can be cleared. but you didnt say that. you said VETTED which is saying already cleared and they are not.

and im aware edward is dead  he was an example of characters that could fit an oracle type role

Yes, I said "from an outside perspective I would consider Len and Des vetted" I know exactly the words I used and they hold firm.

Do you intend to lynch them to day or are they completely 100% off the table?

To me they are off the table.

Back after the weekend.

I am in fact siding with Des on the no-lynch route. Before the claims, I had scum read on Lenlo and town read on Des, Darthe and Tina. I am not in favor of lynching any of the claims because of the fact that each of the role could prove important to us and do not want to mislynch any of them.

Regarding the claims themselves,

1. Len - His play in the game has not exactly been town-like and I have pointed out my suspicions in the game. His claim came without a lot of pressure and his claimed questions does seem simple and could have been easily faked. However, such a role is quite powerful and extremely useful to town and I feel that we should have some more information before lynching him

2. Des - Again, like Len, his claim came without any pressure. He mentioned about getting the role only after a certain character died, which kind of sounds real, because if he was scum, he could have as well claimed that he holstered. Agreed that it is wifom, but combined with my gameplay read on him, it matches with it

3. Darthe - Have seen evidence of his role in the game. As Des mentioned, may not be vote thief but other similar roles. Among the four, this is the weakest role but could be very useful at the end stages. Looks like a true claim because of the context and the kind of role

4. Tina - This was the only claim that came with somewhat of a pressure. Among the four claims, I feel that her claim is the most townish. This, again, is mainly a gut feel based on her play so far and the context in which she revealed.

In short, I am not ready to vote any of them at the moment.

This post makes me more willing to vote Laya.  I think it really odd that he completely ignores the other six people and no-lynch isn't remotely helpful because mafia has no incentive to kill from this group of four leaving us in the same position tomorrow minus one townie.

With less than 24 hours, I am personally not in favour of rushing a lynch just for the sake of it.

It is weird how you you say that we will be in the same position tomorrow. We will have a lot of information from Lenlo's questions, assuming that his claim is genuine. We could have information from Tina's ability, provided her claim is true and she uses it well. We will know what Des did with his vig or if he is at all. And, on top of that, there will be a lot more time to utilise the information on suspects rather than rushing things.

I understand the merit of that but I still disagree with the idea of a no-lynch, as I have before and likely will in the future.  It is only useful in two situations, neither of which apply here.

Tomorrow: No lynch

Pool of 9-11, info from Len/Tina (assuming one isn't NK'd)

Tomorrow: Lynch

Pool of 8-10, info from Len/Tina

What I see is that two days down the road we regret this no lynch because it leaves an extra ??? in our path if mafia plays it well and it essentially gives them a free shot at our PR's without allowing us the opportunity to catch one of them.

We have players who aren't trusted here, they just happen to be more "null" or "inactive" than scum.  Vote from that pile.  This is the situation where it makes sense to do so.
