I recommend everyone read up on the soup mechanic.  Because of this mechanic it is very important for townies not to tip, hint at, or reveal their roles..  We should still stop before lynching someone to allow a last defense, but forcing a true roleclaim will be as good as killing a townie.  And if the scum ever figure out all of our roles, they can end the game in one night.  It is important that we very carefully consider our actions in this game as outing power roles is much, much more dangerous than usual.  Traditional scumhunting will be vital.

If he is town, Verb is the one I would trust most with the Panda. But that's a big if.

Not sure how I feel about the buddying towards Verb here.  Do you have any way of knowing? It seems unnecessary.  There's no way to tell at the moment one way or the other.

I don't really understand why we should make a huge deal out of the panda, and Lily, I don't understand why you persist making such a fuzz over it, making lists and whatnot. As Day 1 progresses, we all vote for the person we think is most likely town - and will make the best use of it. Also, why don't you want it? The only reason I can find for not wanting it is staying away from attention, and that is a rare tactic for town.

 

Not a big fan of Alanna with her "no-one should have it"-angle either (especially with Lily jumping in that fast and agreeing with her at once).

I think that's a bit paranoid, tbh. Especially the part about town killing the person if he makes a mistake. The player with the panda doesn't know anything else than the players without the panda, so no-one expects anyone to get it all right just because he or she has a double vote. And I think scum would be more interested in misleading the Panda-person to misvoting than NK'ing said player. 

 

I'm gonna say like Wombat that I probably don't want it as much as other players here, but I of course wouldn't mind it. As long as we get it on our team, it'll slightly tilt the odds in our favour for a while.

It's not like it's uncontrollable.You just gotta be a bit more c.areful with the timing of your votes And if it does end up in a witch's hands, it's no big problem really either. If the person who gets it abuses it, it's very easy to nail them down as a witch. It doesn't become dangerous in a wicth's hands before closer to LyLo. Either way it's a tiny thing in a very advanced role madness game. Not the end of the world. And someone IS getting it. And I'd rather control who it goes to on-thread, by getting a majority, than letting the witches decide. So since at the moment there is a tie, I will

I got a more town feel from Alanna than from Lily in this. Lily I get the feeling she's trying to play all the sides of the field. Alanna comes across as more genuine concerned townie.

Because in this case, the players are deciding who gets the role, not the mod or an RNG.

Of course I would play it to the best of my ability, if I got it, but I'm asking you guys not to give it to me. Others might feel the same way, so I want to know who they are. 

 

At this point, I'm leaning Wombat for my vote. But there's plenty of time for that to change.
