Come on. We all agreed to let the first one lie since the game says "do not talk or hint about your character". Let's all respect that. Monk did.

It read like it. Claiming VT (in a game with a tracker and two masons out in the open) won't really "paint a target on your back".

I let it lie at the time cos if the rule but I still took it as a hint

And the second one I took as a direct hint to a PR. I read it as "if I claim now I will probably get NKed. I'll keep the WIFOM for tonight to try avoid death"

 

Eitherway, if I took it as a PR hints, others will too regardless of whether it was or not

Cashmere was further into the jungle; he was more used to moving quietly and they didn't want to risk being spotted now. As long as the others were all together, Brutus and Chasmere stood no chance at taking all of them. Thir best chance was if the others split up... Ah, like that. The old lady (how had she survived this long anyway?) apparantly wanted some privacy for a call of nature. "Almost too easy", Brutus smirked to himself. He grabbed Mags around her neck from behind, and twisted it without any effort. He dumped the body on the ground, and started moving back to Cashmere to report.

She'd been on edge, unable to calm down, ever since the Quell was announced. Listening to the others chit-chat, you'd thought they were having a dinner party somewhere, not sitting in the Arena in the middle of the Hunger Games. It grated on her nerves. She jumped to her feet. "I'm gonna go see what is taking Mags so long", she declared, and stomped off before any of them could argue. Axe in hand, she strode into the jungle in the direction Mags had gone. She heard a rustling sound. "Mags?" she whispered, "is that you?". Suddenly, a sharp pain in her chest. She looked down. It was a knife, straight through her heart. "Oh, damn..."

Bodyguard is usually Town. It makes little sense for there to be a Mafia Bodyguard, as they have no reason to target anyone except a scumpartner; and a Vigilante who finds that their kill resolved on a different scum than they expected can simply shoot their previous target again.
