[Advanced] House MD Mafia - Mafia Victory!

Lucas stifled a yawn, bracing the back of his hand against his mouth.  Lazy swirls of steam rose into the air as the coffee cup next to him cooled.  A minute ago, he’d scalded his tongue taking a sip of the molten liquid.  It was his fourth cup in the last eight hours.  He felt very jittery and alert despite the early hour.  Light was just beginning to break over the horizon, casting golden light over the houses on the street.  He shifted a little further down in his seat and took back up the camera.  It wasn’t quite time to go home yet; he could get a few more shots. His vigil outside hadn’t been all for naught, thankfully.  He’d learned a few things that could break this case wide open.

 

Later, Lucas left with several hundred shots on his camera, a half full notebook, and super itchy, tired eyes.   As he left the stakeout point, his car dinged at him.  It was the low gas light.  Nodding determinedly, he pulled into the next gas station.  Filling the tank reminded him that he needed to empty his and he ambled into the store, not seeing the back door open and someone slip inside. 

 

Returning to the car, the private eye settled in and turned the key.  As he did so, his eyes locked on another pair in the backseat.  That pair was smiling.  He felt the camera strap slide over his neck, his hands a second too late to stop it.  Breathing started to be difficult, as the strap was held tighter and tighter.  He grasped the wheel, desperately honking the horn.  But it was too early for other visitors, and the clerk had stepped into the back, sliding his earphones over his head as he’d done so.  Tears leaked out of his eyes as his lungs burned for air and then everything went black.

Peace, I feel is town. Rags and Turin, I don't feel secure in them, but they have not pinged me overly yet either. But I am in desperate need of a readthrough as I've forgotten quite a bit.

It has been a hellish week at work. stupid long hours and not even getting home until today. I am trying to get caught up but it is a struggle I admit. My apologies.

1. Peace: unsure- I didn't like the "Turin is in this game?" comment, but I could just be touchy from being tired. He was into lynching Despo with me, not sure if that was because he sees the same anti-town behaviors in Despo as I do or that it looked like an opportunity. He atleast gave his own thoughts about it iirc.

2. Turin: Town, wins with town, can not win with anyone other than town. (is that the way it is supposed to be said?)

3. Mish(Claims gifter/inventor?): Only way I see her mafia right now is if it was a huuuuge gambit between her, BFG and Wombat with the intention of having both of them cleared for the game, since their reports of the gifting thing match. The fact that CS/Despo turned out town on town is a bit unsettling as she was involved in pinching their ears and trying to get them to play nice. slight paranoia on my part probly.

4. Despo - Dr. Lisa Cuddy, Town Roleblocker - Killed N2 

5. Csarmi  Andrej - Martha M. Masters, vanilla town - Killed N1

6. Amega  TheRagnarok: mafia lean- was very active when first replaced in but seems to have faded back into the shadows(yes pot/kettle irony) Amega was not likely town with his sheeping onto Despo. There was something else about Amega that I can't remember. Actually it was Rags comment about me having all mafia reads early on. It was three or four people and I saw that there were pings of various natures on all the people involved in that early CS/Despo thing. So it was 3-4/16 not everyone. 

7. Hallia: Mafia lean- the sheep vote onto Dap D2 still stands out from her prominently.

9. Kaylee dicetosser1: reacted pretty calmly to Darthe's fib about him visiting Despo. (right voyeur sees what happened to a person but not who did it) Did he come back at Darthe? I will have to check.

11. Dap - Dr. Allison Cameron, vanilla town - Lynched D2

12. BFG:(claimed LD-House) cc'd by the dead mafioso. Have to say mostly confirmed unless Wombat, Mish and BFG were all mafia together and that seems very unlikely. => townette.

13. TG: leaning town- has steadily dug out of the hole from D1. I would need to catch up more to see if anything else pinged me lately.

14. Pral - Dr. Ron Simpson, vanilla town - Lynched D1

15. SickPuppets  TommyRod: Mafia- it is the Christmas game all over again with a side of Star Wars via the buddying of Despo. 

16. Lenlo: null to mafia- Trying to remember much about him aside from the TG interaction and the stuff about the CS/Despo thing early on. TG did make a pretty good early case on him iirc.

Oh, I wanted to address something BFG said about my reads. In the Christmas game I was basically off work due to the holidays and had loads of time to dig for everything. this game has been just the opposite as it has been nightmarish work schedule. I will have some time this weekend to get caught up better So hopefully I will be more helpful. 

Plus Despo is flipped town so I have to reevaluate how I looked at people based of that information.

4 leads? how many mafia you think are left? The game started with 16. So at least 4 non-town, 5 would not be unheard of with town having a LD, RB, voyeur, gifter of cop views(which appears to have taken the place of the regular cop), possibly a doc(still think it would be the height of irony for there to be no doc in a House MD game)

Like you, work has been hectic plus my mom was in town and stayed a couple extra days(typical mom), so I have been a bit quieter.  People are planning summer/fall tours so spring is usually hectic for me. 

 

As for the comment I made on you, it always pings me when I see a list that is all scum or all town.  I can't speak for Amega as I have no clue about his playstyle or Mafia ability. 

 

Peace is still a top scum suspect for me.  Bad juju.  Hallia and Lenlo as well.  You're one of the people I need to read through as mom left today and I should have a largely free weekend.
