I skipped most of D1 because it was just a Nolderage GIFathon, and I haven't read everything linearly, but I'm working on finishing my read and getting my thoughts out.

 

 

But this doesn't tell me why you're calling that specific post out as indicative of me not reading the thread. I've been ignoring the plethora of lock clears as they're meaningless me. I want to hear why that post meant enough for you to post that instead of just stating a disagreement with my reads.

Tommy was first on Nolder (easy), third to last on TG, and is one of the first on me after stating it would be better to let me be because I'm likely survivor or something, said he'd let the cop deal with it. Des also said I wasn't a good lynch today, but for different reasons, and jumped on me after Tom did. Then you sheeped him. That whole train on me is lazy.

alright here is my problem.

 

Have caught up now, paying particular attention to D2 for any Survivor talk. There was less then I expected from what des said.

 

So the only time i really noiticed Peace mention Cory was re WIFOMing Monks entrance and that comment can be read three ways.

 

1 Peace distancing Cory.  this doesn't work for me. He had had nothing to do with corey and so had no need to distance

 

2 Was concerned about monk being wifomed cause monk was the partner.

 

3 Had the same thought as me which was that cory put nonk in a no win situation.

 

 

 

No where did I see Corey say anything that equates to "im the other survivor"  Granted I just read 70 pages and may have missed something. However ive ISOd Cory TWICE  once before i posted my read and once after des gave me a blast and im still not seeing it. If im still missing it it must be very subtle

 

 

 

So Survivor Mason. seems like a contradiction in terms to me as Masons are normal considered to always be Town where as Survivor can win with anyone. I have no idea of the Survivor tactics cause its not a role iove seen a lot. I think it was Des who said a survivor probably would not CC anyone.

 

Golden got a Not Town reading on Cory.  He asked him some questions which Corey dodged for a while.

If as Des stated it is true that survivor would NOT CC anyone then that leaves it open for scum to claim that spot and feel safe.

 

We have a negative cop view on someone that people seem to want to ignore. Somehow they believe they should leave the survivor alone. Des has pretty much guaranteed that scum wont NK the survivor on purpose with his big lettered announcement.

 

Thing is Town cant trust a survivor   they dont care WHO they win with just that they get to the end.

 

And we still dont KNOW cory is not scum in any case. We could be giving scum a Town endorsed safe claim.

Actually, I'll leave you this to chew on: why do you think I would claim when peace died? I made several points out to say third-party hunting was really stupid, but you think I would just straight claim? I thought I was doing a favor to town to keep me on the NK radar, but I was clearly mailing it in, because you're right: I don't care who wins this game. I will vote with who I think is town during the day because that's where my heart is in general, but if you are going to make a focused point to shut me out my WIM is going to be lolvillage lolmafia and this game will continue to molasses along.

I would argue Des is wrong that a third-party wouldn't CC here. Certainly I would, if someone other than me claimed to be Mara Jade - that's massive credibility with town, and peace's flip made it so OBVIOUS what exactly I am (literally survivor mason). Plus, it would remove me from the NK table entirely, as Maf needs to knock down Town numbers.

 

My only real worry is that a reckless vig is going to take me out one night, but that would overall be stupid. The thread is the bible of town, so I adhere by the rules; the fact that I can win with the Maf as long as I stay alive is just a secondary perk in case you guys get wrecked. At this point, everyone just has to deal with me; lynching me hurts town unless I loudly derail town in my process, which I clearly haven't done.

my concern has been that you may be scum in disguise so to speak  tho i must admit that your response above makes sense and makes me feel better about you but I do still have that worry. And i think it is entirely reasonable to worry about you. You could be lying and you could turn.

 

and i WOULDNT expect you to claim unless you were gonna be lynched. If you are kind enuff to point me to what i missed i will check it out.

Des told Turin to stop third-party hunting and I responded with:

 

no guys stop it we need to hunt for peace spew and find the third-party

Yeah, I haven't been keeping secrets here. I've also been extremely UTR, which is not my town or scum meta. 

 

One of the major reasons I swapped from Turin to TG (by the way, my vote changed the majority from Turin TO TG, so I was already lock clear) was because Peace was impressed with Turin in scumchat (Turin nailed me as Third-Party Day 1 when he went through to find peacespew - It was impressive, but detrimental to town) and it did seem like Turin was deliberately hunting for... something, which is WIM 2 me and something I generally associate with town.

 

Of course, I wasn't going to "stop" him from being mislynched today if he hadn't be taken out by a vig (probably) - a move I generally support, as he would have wasted our lynch this phase and now we can look back at that TG/Turin flip Day 2 and see who hardest fought for Turin before Despot crushed TG.

 

SickPuppets and Despot are both basically lock clear if you reread EOD, btw, so yeah I'm going to sheep Despot ATM.

I'm a little less flabbergasted with Dice knowing that he get a black-white result, as I thought he simply got me as third-party and proceeded to roleclaim. Makes more sense here, but I wasn't exactly hiding that I was third-party.

@Dice: Cory also said he and Tommy were "Fourth Party" a while back as well, and has been sheeping either me and Tommy the whole game. Way too obvious of a move as scum. And he's right, if he was actually mafia he'd still be showing more motivation on thread, bit would try and lead town off track instead. His play is about as third party as you can get.
