I thought I was the only one so I didn't want to be the party spoiler, but yes, what Nolder said.

 

I can't post from mobile (been trying) because those gifs just kill my phone. 

 

 

Also, they are just plain annoying most of them, I just can't see the point and usually I can't get the message of them either. If there is any.

 

 

I'm not gonna be a crybaby and quit about that, but I'll be able to spend about 2/3 less time on the game.

This gif is 3.3 megabytes (because it's apparently taken from some site that don't know how to form size-conservative gifs). It doesn't even look good.

FYI, my monthly allotment of net quota per month is 200 mbytes and normal maffia games wouldn't even take a dent in it. But that's not even the issue here - it's the fact that my phone takes forever to load the page and usually I have no chance to post at all as the high load time messes with the DM controls too and they just misbehave.

Asking for gif's to be spoilered is a completely reasonable request. Replacing out for such a silly reason when youre the leading vote getter by far is just unbelievably lame. I know I should hold my tongue but w/e #YOLO. Quitting out for such dubious reasons is an incredible disservice to the fellow players in the game as well as the mod. And should he get replaced, his replacement will be in an extremely difficult position. Its just all kinds of fail on Nolder's part.

I just tried to load the game from phone in the morning than I had a clear enough mind to just let it go and stop trying. Maybe he kept trying to read it and even post too. If I did, I'd be freaking pissed as well :)

I've been enjoying the images, and laughing like a loon, and even saving a few of them to my computer for use in the future, but if they are keeping people's pages from loading then it becomes a problem.

Okay... well, if gifs are an issue, just post the link instead of embedding the gif in posts. Spoiier tags won't stop the gifs from being downloaded, so that doesn't help people with bandwidth limits.

 

Rules:

1. This is a hammer game. A lynch will be made when a majority is reached in voting and I am around to end the day. No votes or unvotes after a hammer is made will be considered. Self-votes are allowed. Voting for no lynch is allowed.

2. Day phases will be 3 days. Nights will be 1 day. Extra time will be given in case of weekends.

4. If a hammer is not reached by the voting deadline, a random player will be lynched with no coroner report.

 

@Mod: Rule #4 is a weird one, does that get used often on DM? Because I think it just punishes the players by hiding info. It seems unlikely to me that a game on DM with a time limit (keeping in mind the complete absence of activity you guys call the weekend) reaches majority on D1. You're robbing town of the info they would get from a lynch by hiding that randomly modkilled player's alignment.

 

I suggest getting rid of that, and using a hybrid hammer system. Majority vote ends the phase early, otherwise the leading vote wagon is lynched; in a tie, the vote leaders are randomized to pick a lynch.

Tommy: yes, #4 is almost always included on DM. Personally, I don't like it, but that's how it usually goes. Please note that it has profound strategical and tactical effects (like having to consolidate on a lynch before deadline and such).
