It didn't seem like Theo's post had anything to do with expecting her to know anyone's playstyle, and didn't see a meta defense here.

I think Theo's town right now, she really was the first to throw down some hard reads and try to kickstart the game.

Not bothering? I will echo others in that I want to here your thoughts on this matter, not a huge fan of how you accuse him of being mafia but then say you don't feel like following up on it. I am mostly town-reading Cloud atm so I am curious as to why you think otherwise.

Mish, this is our second game with Vos and besides, during our 1st game with him, this was a topic we discussed - that I don't like putting votes unless I have strong evidence. And if this is your evidence - me being a SK in a game months ago, go on. But that is not scum hunting, it is nothing at all.

 

I can put an OMGUS vote on you right away but I want to first try to find more clues. For me it doesn't make sense putting senseless votes.

 

Better help town by saying what do you think about the others.

 

Mish's attack seems a little unprovoked here. Granted, iirc Theo is speaking of the 1 game her and Vos have played together in which she was scum. So using that meta as a defense for not placing a vote is a little sketchy IMO.

 

Well my reads are-

 

1. Darthe-Going for a no tickle. Says that happy endings could be possible in this set up. Says that mafia will do it in this set up as it's a victory for them. Not much of a read on him, but I would say he's kinda 50-50 currently.
2. Xthrax
3. AJ-First one to actually mainly jump start this game by agreeing with Cloud to start wagoning people to force reactions. Proceeds to follow Cloud after his vote on me. He's trying to get reactions, but after my 2 current posts-no response. Says, he spreading the pressure, but still going after 1 player. Kinda suspicious but not much
4. Hallia-Not really much to go on.
5. Peace-Peace seems suspicious. Hasn't posted any reason for voting for me, seems to parroting the rest. Feels scummy

I'm not following some of your reads here. You list several as trying to push the game out of the fluff phase, including myself, but town read them while calling me a scum lean? Sense not made. Also not seeing how you have Pral and X listed as null but are willing to vote (tickle ) them over your other null reads.

I didn't use any evidence at all; I said it's hopeless to get a read on a persons playstyle after one game, and you can't chastise anyone for not knowing that, or trying to FoS them for not knowing that.

 

And why on earth would WANT to put an omgus-vote on someone, and why me right now?

 

Also, votes are NEVER senseless. Feel like you got a reason to put them on someone? Put it there. It's how you show your alignement. Mafia are generally more hesitant with their votes. Town shouldn't even think about being hesitant with their votes; they have no reason to.

 

I don't see Theo trying to FOS Vos. She just said that he should know her play style. The quotes are there to see so I'm not sure how you are coming to this conclusion. I also disagree with the second statement about how a townie shows their alignment by throwing their votes around. Too generalized for my tastes and it also comes across as an easy reason to FOS someone. 'Oh, you're holding your vote? You must be scum.'

 

Ok. IMO town are more likes to react poorly to bogus run ups than scum. Scum tend to try and stay logical non reactive to pressure. X fits the scum bull here. That's the best I got on a fluffy day 1.

 

Decent post. Having played a game with X I would say that he comes across as logical and level-headed, however. Inversely, would you still have voted him if he lashed out with the reasoning that he seemed over-defensive for a meaningless wagon? Your POV here seems opposite of what I think most people's is, which is sort of strange to me.

 

A question for Cloud-if your read on me is scummy and if you don't feel I'm scummy, Why are you still voting for me? So for a read a mix of both sides-but leaning scummy.

Did you not see my two subsequent posts in defense? So how did I ignore it  again?

 

How does AJ seem slightly scummy to you? Your reasons? Is it 'cause he started the wagoning to get the game started?

 

How does Peace seem townish to you? Reasons? his vote was basically a parroting of others, and even in his response to when I said its parroting didn't have a reason.

2. With AJ it's more the early jumping around with votes for not much of a reason and then he let Cloud pick the wagon choice and then followed onto it. It gives a sort of a slight buddying feel. I have him as a null to scum. 

 

Okay, I can kind of follow on what you are saying here about me. I don't see how my vote hopping was suspicious when I think most of them were clearly facetious, especially when at the time most of the game thread comprised of spam. The reason I mentioning bandwagoning with Cloud is because at the time he seemed invested in moving the game forward, which gave me a town lean, and really the only one at the time.

 

 

I would like to tickle Peace

 

It could be his style but this does not help me receive information, therefore, his posts does not help me at all. He votes without giving reasons, which I find the least helpful of everything. He says he wants an end to the fluff and adds 4 more posts containing fluff. At this stage contradicting your statements pings. So, since he doesn't wanna help, I will hug and make him laugh by tickling him.

 

I removed the spoiler-ed content because it was too big but I didn't see any contradiction in his posts. He never mentions putting an end to the fluff so your statement here doesn't really add up. He also gave a reason for his vote, although it came a bit later.

Not a huge fan of this. Half of your posts are spam which pad your post count so I don't like how you are bringing this up as if it proves something.

 

 

TL;DR

 

Untickle Xthrax I think he has responded reasonably well and countered with some logical questions. I'm leaning town on him atm.

 

Leaning town on Cloud for his early game participation but I would like to hear his response to X's question about why he is still voting for him if he feels he isn't scummy. Peace seems to be on his usual town-meta and although I can see where he is coming from with what he said about X's reaction to his wagon I think it would be just as easy to vote him if he had reacted negatively which makes me a little wary since at the time X was the largest wagon. I would expect this POV towards a more experienced player, not someone in their 2nd game.

 

I'm not a fan of Leelou thus far. Her reads list don't really add up in my mind and I'm not following her scum leans or her list at the end where she states who she could vote for. I don't find Darthe pushing the happy-ending thing scummy. I also don't get how she would be fine voting X or Pral as null reads over her others. Mish's attack on Theo came across as pretty unprovoked in defense of Vos. I also dislike her counter-reasoning to Theo's wish to hold her vote. It's too broad of a statement and isn't true by any means. To me it comes across as one of those things scum will say to have an excuse to vote someone. It's up the same alley as saying only scum set-up spec D1 or only scum vote without giving a reason, etc. I'm not really tracking on Theo's vote towards Peace because I don't see any contradictions from him but her early observations were good IMO. She seems to be pushing for more content which gives me a town lean.
