Town shouldn't even think about being hesitant with their votes; they have no reason to.

Well I would argue against there not being any reason to withhold your votes as town, but you are right for the most part and I like the rest of your post.

 

I hoped he would react more. Making some sort of comments on any of us three for example. This seems like the perfect post to drag up as a "see, I responded" (like you are supplying for him) without saying anything at all, and still keeping his head down as much as possible.

 

And Cloud, why the defense? You were on the same train, yet you seem very eager to grill me about it.

I didn’t see anything for him to react to other than point out how lame the train on him was, which he did. So you are saying that if he started throwing out accusations against us that were based on 7 pages of fluff he would have looked more townie to you? I find that difficult to believe.

Ah I now understand how you came to that conclusion. Yes you are misinterpreting me although I have to say that it is most likely due to me not being clear enough in my wording. It was meant as a poke at Peace for not providing any reasoning for his votes, and then calling out other people for misinterpreting him. It was easy to interpret Peace’s vote on X as mere bandwagoning and I wasn’t implying that X was pulling accusations out of his ass, but instead told Peace that X is free to believe what he thinks is true if he doesn't provide any reasoning.

Wow a lot has happened. Well I give the reads first
6. Theo-Begins with the joke vote on AJ. I think she was the first one to post a set of reads on people. She says that Darthe is going for an unrealistic scenario by going for a no lynch. Also adds that she thinks hugs will have a considerable effect and will be the thing that makes a difference.

 

She says that Cloud seems too desperate to understand why Darthe thinks he's scum. This in addition to his appearence to suck up to the mod for her-she says this pings for her.

 

She says that Leelou is nudging people to vote for Darthe also.

 

She ends up not putting a vote for any of them, instead she says that these weren't a list of suspects instead a list of the reads she could get on any player. She says that she could retaliate on Mish for voting on her with an OMGUS vote but chooses not to as she doesn't believe in making senseless votes

 

Basically this doesn't ping much too me. I agree with Cloud later post about this in the fact that mafia wouldn't go all out and post like this. Basically null at this point.

7. Pray-Nothing much to go on. Null

8. Cloud-Goes along with AJ's idea of bandwagoning on a person to force reactions. His vote is for me-Out of all 12 players, how come you go for me? Sure if it was to force reactions it could have been anyone, especially someone who seemed suspicious to you.

 

In his next post he asks everyone what are their opinions on my train. Also questions Darthe on why he isn't voting for me. Basically doesn't agree with it and calls out Darthe for going for a no tickle

 

He also leans town on Theo. He defends strongly, when Vos suspects him for it. Don't think it's over defensive.

 

He proceeds to defend my subsequent posts, saying that he wanted to basically see my reactions to the vote. He says he has a null read on me and also replies to Verbal that he didn't call me or Peace scummy but was telling Peace how if he didn't provide a reason, I could guess upon any reason I chose to.

 

A question for Cloud-if your read on me is scummy and if you don't feel I'm scummy, Why are you still voting for me? So for a read a mix of both sides-but leaning scummy.

10. Vos-Seems to begin by voting for me to garner reactions. Questions Theo on why she hasn't voted anyone after her reads. After Cloud questions him on his post, he says that it was a case of poorly constructed sentence. Says he agrees with Theo, but says that she's gonna have D1 tough if she doesn't vote until she has a clear read on everyone.

 

Still keeps his vote me as he says that I haven't responded. Vos I have clearly responded-did you not see it?

I didn't originally, my vote was purely on him to get this party started. I'm unsure what to think now. I think he failed to react properly to being the victim of the first "poke-train", and his reads on top of this page is just wish-wash. I'm def. suspicious of him, as I read him as desperately trying to keep his head down. With 3 votes and 7 to hammer I doubt he'll get speed-trained until tomorrow, so I'm comfortable leaving my vote where it is. But I'm excited to see the rest of his list (containing both myself, you, Mish and Theo) tomorrow. 

 

I admit at this point, everything is grasping at straws though, so I'm not set on anything, but for now that's where I stand. 

 

 

You say you are unsure what you think, but is also suspicious of me. Make up your mind. How did I fail to react properly? Please do explain that? My reads on everyone is wish-wash? 3. AJ-First one to actually mainly jump start this game by agreeing with Cloud to start wagoning people to force reactions. Proceeds to follow Cloud after his vote on me. He's trying to get reactions, but after my 2 current posts-no response. Says, he spreading the pressure, but still going after 1 player. Kinda suspicious but not much
4. Hallia-Not really much to go on.
5. Peace-Peace seems suspicious. Hasn't posted any reason for voting for me, seems to parroting the rest. Feels scummy

2. Xthrax - has had some early pressure, mostly ignoring it until poked about it. Null

And Theo, I can kind of agree with you there, and I've seen you been very cautious with your vote before, but you claimed three people looked a bit off. If you won't vote until you have a clear read on every single player D1 you have a hopeless time D1 at least. 

 

My vote still stands on X, who has failed to respond to his votes of check in. It's not set in stone, of course, but for now it will do. 

I'm slighty FOT'ing you for being abit overly defensive here, jumping straight to meta-defense (FOT = Finger of tickle, if that was unclear)

Also, slightly suspicious of Mish for jumping to "my defense" so fast. I guess buddying is still an acceptable tactic, even though we are all buddies here 

Also has my eyes on Cloud, for leaning town on Theo just because she meta-defended. Also keeping my eye out if his read on my sentence was an honest misread of my poor sentence, or understood what I meant and tried to twist it so he could start a town-train already, depending on how I reacted.

2. With AJ it's more the early jumping around with votes for not much of a reason and then he let Cloud pick the wagon choice and then followed onto it. It gives a sort of a slight buddying feel. I have him as a null to scum. 

 

3. Meta. Pure Meta. I really dislike relying on it, but Peace is one who really does stick to playing the same way. 

 

4. Mish is a player I find scummy all the time. This post has given me a slight town feel for her though. 

 

 

I cannot put a vote when I have any reads on 3 people out of 12 fluffing around. You already have to know my style, I don't like to rush into conclusions Day 1. These were not the suspects list but the list of players I could read something in this game.

Ok. IMO town are more likes to react poorly to bogus run ups than scum. Scum tend to try and stay logical non reactive to pressure. X fits the scum bull here. That's the best I got on a fluffy day 1.

Ok. IMO town are more likes to react poorly to bogus run ups than scum. Scum tend to try and stay logical non reactive to pressure. X fits the scum bull here. That's the best I got on a fluffy day 1.

Ok. IMO town are more likes to react poorly to bogus run ups than scum. Scum tend to try and stay logical non reactive to pressure. X fits the scum bull here. That's the best I got on a fluffy day 1.

I just did a quick read through, I'll do ISO's and have better reads either tonight or tomorrow morning. 

 

1. Darthe - started the no lynch and brought up the happy ending scenario. Not really fond of this idea since I don't see the point in playing then. This is labeled as a basic game with one of 3 open set ups. Null to slight scum right now. 

2. Xthrax - has had some early pressure, mostly ignoring it until poked about it. Null

3. AJ - 7 posts, 3 votes. Trying to force the game to get serious with band wagoning. Null to slight scum read. 

4. Halliapoopoohead - Hallia, are you there? Null

5. Peace - seems to be on course for how he plays so far. Seeing town play right now. 

6. Theo - has given some reads, trying to move out of joke phase, leaning townish

7. Pray - 3 posts - memes and smileys. No game play. Null 

8. Cloud - I really would like to see what Darthe thinks is scummy play from Cloud. I'm not seeing it, leaning town on him. 

9. Mish - I still have a hard time reading Mish, she's one of the players I find scummy, however, her going after Theo for using meta is more null to town. 

10. Vos - don't think I've had the pleasure of playing with you yet, but seems to want to see an end to the fluff and game play. town to null

11. Verb - spammy <3 neutral until I see game play out of him

 

People I'd feel comfortable tickling: Darthe, AJ and to a lesser extent: X and Pral. 

 

I might move my vote after ISOing everyone, but right now this is where I stand.

Did you not see my two subsequent posts in defense? So how did I ignore it  again?

 

How does AJ seem slightly scummy to you? Your reasons? Is it 'cause he started the wagoning to get the game started?

 

How does Peace seem townish to you? Reasons? his vote was basically a parroting of others, and even in his response to when I said its parroting didn't have a reason.

 

So does Mish seem town, null or scum?

Poorly constructed sentence. I meant that she argued strongly to get the game started, not made a strong case - to get the game started. Did that make more sense? 

 

And Theo, I can kind of agree with you there, and I've seen you been very cautious with your vote before, but you claimed three people looked a bit off. If you won't vote until you have a clear read on every single player D1 you have a hopeless time D1 at least. 

 

My vote still stands on X, who has failed to respond to his votes of check in. It's not set in stone, of course, but for now it will do. 

I'm slighty FOT'ing you for being abit overly defensive here, jumping straight to meta-defense (FOT = Finger of tickle, if that was unclear)

Also, slightly suspicious of Mish for jumping to "my defense" so fast. I guess buddying is still an acceptable tactic, even though we are all buddies here 

Also has my eyes on Cloud, for leaning town on Theo just because she meta-defended. Also keeping my eye out if his read on my sentence was an honest misread of my poor sentence, or understood what I meant and tried to twist it so he could start a town-train already, depending on how I reacted.

Or is it your pressure vote on. If its that one, then might I ask what is seems scummy about me? Someone posts a vote to raise pressure, and then everyone joins in on the bandwagon-that pings for the people who jumped in on the bandwagon. Your current vote is just on a pressure vote and nothing beyond that. No substanited evidence whatsoever, therefore your case is hollow

 

 

You did nothing in your first vote to try to direct votes away from you or offer any other alternatives. You added to the fluff until poked further. 

 

2. With AJ it's more the early jumping around with votes for not much of a reason and then he let Cloud pick the wagon choice and then followed onto it. It gives a sort of a slight buddying feel. I have him as a null to scum. 

 

3. Meta. Pure Meta. I really dislike relying on it, but Peace is one who really does stick to playing the same way. 

 

4. Mish is a player I find scummy all the time. This post has given me a slight town feel for her though. 

 

 

I cannot put a vote when I have any reads on 3 people out of 12 fluffing around. You already have to know my style, I don't like to rush into conclusions Day 1. These were not the suspects list but the list of players I could read something in this game.

 

Vos, what are your observations so far of the people involved?

I've played 1 game with you and I don't know your style. Especially since you were a third party there. Self meta defense from slight pressure by only one player.... I think someone is ticklish!

In my opinion, he's asking a million questions to practically anybody that mentions his name.  I see this mostly as a scum smokescreen to distract.  How he follows up will reveal much about his intentions.

 

 

The 4 questions I did ask to AJ, Peace, Cloud and Vos. That was basically part of defense and to try and get why they think me scum. The only other person I think I asked questions of was Leelou. Those were not anything suspecting, instead wanted to know who and why did she think was town/scum. This was 'cause it would eventually help me know who was scum and how to late read everyone based on my reads of them

It could be his style but this does not help me receive information, therefore, his posts does not help me at all. He votes without giving reasons, which I find the least helpful of everything. He says he wants an end to the fluff and adds 4 more posts containing fluff. At this stage contradicting your statements pings. As for your reason, basically I don't agree. Basically the same question what I asked of Vos-Since town basically don't have anything to hide, wouldn't they be the ones acting logically and sensible. Scum try to hide as mafia-and wouldn't they be the people who are hiding and when questioned or suspected fumble & act poorly.

10. Vos-Seems to begin by voting for me to garner reactions. Questions Theo on why she hasn't voted anyone after her reads. After Cloud questions him on his post, he says that it was a case of poorly constructed sentence. Says he agrees with Theo, but says that she's gonna have D1 tough if she doesn't vote until she has a clear read on everyone.

 

Still keeps his vote me as he says that I haven't responded. Vos I have clearly responded-did you not see it? 

 

Now you have, yes. First answer was just fluffy so I had hoped for a clear answer. 

 

 

 

If you haven't posted a reason then I guess he is free to come up with whatever explanation he believes to be true for your action :P

I didn't originally, my vote was purely on him to get this party started. I'm unsure what to think now. I think he failed to react properly to being the victim of the first "poke-train", and his reads on top of this page is just wish-wash. I'm def. suspicious of him, as I read him as desperately trying to keep his head down. With 3 votes and 7 to hammer I doubt he'll get speed-trained until tomorrow, so I'm comfortable leaving my vote where it is. But I'm excited to see the rest of his list (containing both myself, you, Mish and Theo) tomorrow. 

 

I admit at this point, everything is grasping at straws though, so I'm not set on anything, but for now that's where I stand.

I hoped he would react more. Making some sort of comments on any of us three for example. This seems like the perfect post to drag up as a "see, I responded" (like you are supplying for him) without saying anything at all, and still keeping his head down as much as possible. 

 

And Cloud, why the defense? You were on the same train, yet you seem very eager to grill me about it. 

 

 

So what you basically hoped from the poke-train was that I would make some sort of comments about the three of you. In my opinion it would be scum who would jump and retaliate that way on being poked. Town have nothing to hide, so why would they retaliate that way? This pings strongly to me. 

 

For example. I didn't say retaliate though, that's your words. I hoped you would at some level start participating in the game. But you just posted fluff.

I don't think thats a safe way to see it, especially D1. If you are scum you can drift pretty easily through the first day/days, because you don't have an elaborate lie to keep up. So even though you are by definition right, it probably won't hold up in practice. Town can fumble and Scum can be confident.
