Maybe you don't read scenes... But you should read post. Several people had discussed the alignement of the person named in the scene as the shooter.

I agree that I don't really like dice's play so far, but right now I'm willing to see darthe's statement that Pral pointed out as a breadcrumb as that's what I immediately thought of after reading darthe's flip. Dice's obvious character hint would make sense in this context as well. Because of that, I find everyone voting him suspect.

 

I also find it weird that peace didn't say anything about darthe calling Lily's play consistently poor when in the "role pm matching/phrasing" post below he discusses not liking when someone insults (his word) someone else by saying their play is bad.

 

I second Mish, though, with the WTH were you thinking @ Pral.

I'm not willing to clear Dice just yet, but I'm strongly leaning that way. I've been scum with him numerous times, probably more than any other player, and dude is never this active as mafia. Pure meta read, thus I won't make any type of decision based on that alone.

Dice is claiming Chewbacca, sidekick to Han Solo and copilot of the Millenium Falcon. Definitely one of the good guys if actually in the game.

Sorry I've been fairly quiet lately. Hard for me to play a lot on weekends. Tomorrow starts the work week though, so I should be able to contribute more.

Anyway, my point was that isn't it too early to make an informed kill? I suspect it was a trigger.

 

Why bring up the trigger-option? The scene states that Han Solo took the shot. Even I have heard that name. Makes it pretty clear it was a person who took the shot.

 

darthe i just found it interesting he died shortly after the bromance comment and thus thought u a possibility for doing it.

At page 9... Golden places a "joke" vote. After Des had been shot and there was no doubt the jokey/spammy stage was well over and done with.

 

 

You're deflecting rather than approaching this.  If you want to be considered town then play like one.  Otherwise the pressure I apply is warranted.

No, I have said why I think you're scum, and I don't need to do more than that. Your OMGUS case isn't really a case a all. If you have a specific question for me, then ask one. Don't just try to push the mud that you're wearing onto me. 

 

 

AFAIK, Lily's original case was that Darthe said "It doesn't matter" to a comment Key made about a post Lily made... Right? And that was Lily's whole case on Darthe? Eh... It's weak, to say the least.

 

 

I don't understand the reasoning behind shooting Des with little to no posts from him in-game. Several of you seem to think this is not unusual. Could you explain why it makes sense to do that and why it's not an unusual move? How is JN different from DM? 

 

This is an advanced game.  There is a good possibility, considering the timing of the kill, that the scum team may have a day shot.  If that is the case, killing Desp, early is a great move.  Since he really hasn't participated, there is very little info to grab from the kill. 

 

 

Again the scene says Han Solo took the shot, isn't he a good guy? I thought people already discussed this that it was unlikely he was a bad guy. This post confuses me.

 

something feels off to me about Lily in regards to the early stuff with Darthe but I cant put my finger on it.

 

As for Des it could just be a case of big game hunting. 

 

Now this post... Dice posted at least once right after the initial Darthe/Lily exchange. And now he suddenly comes back and slightly FoSes her over it. And then later you backtrack over it. Big FoS on you there mister.

 

 

 

So how many people is that defending Lily so far? like 3?  Ishy did, key, praya. does she really need that much defending? particularly at me who has stated he is leaning town?  All this defence is making me wonder if we are looking at team members here

@AVM - I don't play at JN, although I co-modded a game there and I've read most of the games played in the last year or so.

 

I didn't take Darthe's statement as meaning that he thinks a JN'er is trying to set him up, more that it seems most likely to be a JN player that would make the choice to dayvig so early to get a flip and info. Most of the DM players would wait longer or holster D1... unless they wanted Despo out of the way for some other reason.

 

I think it's most likely a town vig responsible for the kill, so there wouldn't be a "set up" aspect to the situation. If it is one of the people Darthe listed, then they are most probably town. I wouldn't be offended at his including you in that list if I were in your shoes.

 

You then suddenly have read most of the games in the past year.  Which must have been as a guest and not logged in, as I THINK your name on JN would be Tress or Tess or something to that effect?  And I never noticed that name lurking.

 

Having co-modded one game (or played one game) isn't enough to find meta's viable, it's just not.  Darthe comes up, states it's most likely it's from JN and you just quickly jump on board.

Bolded: This is a BS statement. It's possible to read a forum without being logged in, and JN is buildt on more or less the same template as DM, so it's possible to log in as invisible there too (I know, I'm registered). A lot of people, me included, will be logged in as invisble because they leave their computer open at all times, so instead of getting grief for being "online" and not posting, they just never show as online. Very, very thin reason for calling Tress a liar.

The point of all this was she claims to have known the metas of the JN players playing this game.  Whether she was a guest or invisible, it doesn't matter -- the main point was that she agreed with a point Darthe made and then backtracked on.

 

So she either skimmed and agreed without not really knowing she was agreeing on (which I questioned her on then, and she responded that she DID know), or she lied.  Perhaps you'd like "stretched the truth" to make her point.  She was arguing that we were town at the time, which would be more than easy to just stay quiet about.  There was no logical reason to believe the Vig came from that pool.  It reeks of someone trying to throw attention in as many directions as possible.

Regardless, at least I'm making a case.  It's better than the people who have locked down on the same person (or haven't voted) since essentially the beginning of the game.  One example? Tress -- who has stayed on Ishy since Tuesday morning.  Just sayin'.

I did answer Key. The scenes are mostly flavor and will have occasional hints. Don't read too much into them though except alignments of the dead players. Carry on. 

 

 

She specifically hinted it during the time, indirectly specifying that speculating from the scene is not correct.

mish i didnt know who wrote the bromance comment when i typed that. I wasnt linking the poster, i was commenting that Darthe could have seen that post and thought" ooohh they think we are together or something....im gonna kill des and get some cred."  now obviously R2D@ did not kill des.but hindsight is 20/20
