To gage scummymess from an opening post and asking others to do so just seems like your trying to get a lynch going on very thin grounds, while having an excuse if they come up innocent, also you haven't given the same analysis you asked for until now, kinda like so later if anyone had said something that started a lynch train, you can point to them and say it was their idea.

Also, notice how she is asking for Leelou's reasoning behind her vote on Nolder after she questioned BFG's vote on Golden. Nolder didn't even check into the game when Leelou made that vote so what reasoning could she have? I think Elf is very self-conscious of her play in this game and didn't want to be seen as only questioning the Innocent Child, which was more important to her than actually figuring out the reasoning behind Leelou's vote on Nolder which was obviously non-existant in the first place.

 

Indeed what reason could she have? Hence why I asked. She wasn't pushing it, and is was probably random first day vote just to be voting. Hence why I left it so long to ask, and to see what nolder did. And as to bfg, I had a theory it was wrong. I thought that the confirmed innocent voting for someone and not giving reason like that, might mean there was some reason that wasn't random voting. I was wrong, so meh. In fact I thought she might still have a PR for a short while until she posted again, which would make it make more sense for her to know something and have a reason for voting. I had this big long post and then she posted T_T
 

 

This also makes no sense, my role PM is quoted on the front page, she knows I'm IC, so she should know that I have no powers.

Because you've posted ad nauseum about why your opinion is bestest and right. I find you overly defensive, frenetic, I disagree with a substantial portion of your logic and you engage in endless whyme fryme. Even if the scum vibe I get from you is wrong, I don't find most of what you say to contribute to actual scumhunting, other than to FOS several people and then submit an OMGUS vote which you lyingly claim is based on gameplay. 

 

Goldens vote is also oddly timed, the reasoning is bad and attention has moved elsewhere, would be a pretty safe bus vote if they are team mates.

In short, Elf seems jumpy when Golden is voted, questions Leelou about her vote on Nolder after a considerable gap (in which period she's posted), this is mentioned by Cloud and someone else, possible Key in one of her catchup posts.  In general her posts from Day 1 boil down to defence and trying to get an answer from Peace.  Her hammering also means little as at that stage the voting wasn't going any other way. 

 

So far she hasn't posted on Day 2

@Nolder - that seems an awful lot of assumptions to make.

 

Cloud, can you explain in more detail why you think Hallia's town? I don't follow your voting pattern reasoning. Also, you've cleared a few people as Town based on Golden train, how does that clear third party?

 

I didn't bother explaining my town read on Hallia in more detail because to be honest there isn't much to explain. I'm reading Hallia as town after looking at the tone and feel of her posts. Her vote switching and the reasoning behind it also seemed genuine to me at the time. I don't expect you to understand because I think you haven't played a lot of games with Hally yet to really get a feel for her play.

 

Also, I'm not hunting for the third party because I don't have to. A third party is going to play as townie as they can, and thus they won't be able to be found as easily as scum. Night 1 only had one kill and so I'm already starting to doubt the existence of a SK, and I'm not worried about a possible Survivor because I plan to have the mafia lynched before they have any chance to seize the game.

 

 

 

14 players, 25% would be 3.5, so either 3 or 4 anti-town. My guess would be 3 mafia and 1 3rd party. 1 night kill suggests survivor might be more likely than SK, but it's possible that either a vig or SK withheld a shot to go hidden, I doubt mafia would, or of course any of them could have been blocked.  Personally I always treat claims with a pinch of salt.

 

Why do you think Turin was killed last night?

 

I don't see the use of a Vig or SK holstering just to hide their abilities, because sooner or later they are going to shoot someone anyway and when that happens they might as well have killed off a couple of players to get closer to their win con.

 

 

 

I don't see any point in hunting for a possible vig as they're Town.  Walking Dead gives a good example for why a SK would holster initially as well, although in general I agree they're not the biggest priority right now.  It's worth remembering later if we hit 3 mafia and the game continues that it may not be a 4th mafia, thus the things you look for are different.

Hey sorry for hammering and then going awol, I swear I had a post ready on new years eve and then a bottle of wine happened.

 

I've only really skimmed day 2 up to now, will do a proper read after work tomo..today . I was also half way through this post then accidentally deleted it all ... as you do -_-

 

Ok; nolder - seems less fluffy today, than day one, that's a lot of what pinged me about him day 1, needs more looking at, but I'm leaning more null wards on him.

 

Turin seems a weird choice for a nk (assuming mafia nk rather than vig kill) as he did make himself a very lynchable looking option. I can't see it as a throwing suspicion kill apart from the bit where he implies the cop should view tommy. It could be just that though, a nk trying to give us the least information and someone likely not doc protected , it still seems quite strange though.

 

Leelou - I just yeah.. you make me all wifom inside, your reasonably quiet but not to a scummy level, gets defensive when pushed today .. could really go either way.

 

Krak - your issues with cloud, it feels like you're reaching. There is stuff that I do find off about cloud but that initial interaction felt very town, hence no omgus vote on cloud. So going for that looks like you're reaching, and looking for easy surface stuff to sling. I don't like this, it seems very scummy. Some other day one stuff, but I have to be in work in 6 hours so that going to be tomorrow now but ##vote krak

 

@bfg that was initially part of a big long post, like I said and the leelou thing just seemed like it would have been a bit randomly tacked on, before I deleted it all. I get that there is a gap still And I did mean to ask it sooner but got distracted by cloud. And I just seemed like it might be a possibility given you did start with a PR, and then you voted golden without saying anything else. In the role description, it does say "...this is a special role and there may be some flavour based details..." also lots of the other role descriptions get 'optional extras' and part of my post included trying to get clarification on that.

 

And the reads, I kinda ran outa time with that I still intend to do that at some point (probs Sunday) just want to rejig, reskim and factor in golden being mafia and the Turin nk

So I go about trying to find where it fits in and fix it but then I find out oh too many quotes can't post because guess what when someone makes a case or analysis of a mafia game they tend to use ----------- quotes so if you then quote them you hit the quote limit in like two posts and then you need to cut YOUR post up into several parts. And so I went about doing this anyway even though it is the bane of my ---------- existence. But OOOPS I cut something wrong somewhere while trying to juggle these 3+ posts of Goldeneye's quotes I'm getting ready to post and it screws up ALL the quote boxes beause whatever stupid ---------- system DM uses likes to think it's ------------- smart by "fixing" a broken quote box and just pretending the next person over said something when they didn't. ------------ this I'm rage quitting and I'm not doing it again.

You can hit the button that looks like a light switch and turn off the auto formatting and you can edit the code.
