If we assume that there were 7 town and 6 mafia to begin with then we would now have 5 town and six mafia remaining.

 

We have a little while before the next night phase so let's try to get some active discussions on who our most likely Mafia choices are and figure out what our next step will be.

Arn't the teams usually split down the middle?  If so then the mafia would now outnumber the town and we should begin taking things seriously and, as a team, decide upon who is more likely to be mafia so we can make an educated vote rather than a repeat of the first round where most of it was spent putzing around and joke voting.  Since we have six days until the deadline we should take our time to discuss our opinions and why we think so in order to form as much of the picture as possible and lower the chances of voting another villager out thus increasing their odds even more.

My boss finally left for the day so I have time as soon as I'm done with lunch to actually get out my reads.

Ah, okay, thought it was normally about 50/50... Even with the new numbers I think the rest of my previous post would be a good idea in order to limit the chances of eliminating another one of us and giving the Mafia that added bonus.

right..so now focus on presenting a case on players you find scummy rather than spending time telling everyone they should get serious.

Reads, meh I don't have the strongest ones right now. Too many people were inactive. 

 

1. Peace - seems to be actively scum hunting, getting a townish vibe off him right now
2. AJ - This post didn't sit right with me: 

I'm gonna chalk those up to newb posts. Sorry for being scarce but I knew DL was today and needed to check in. I'm traveling currently and will only have my phone to post with until Sunday at the earliest but I will try to make it count when I can get on.

Allowing that Leelou is the Doc, she could choose to self-protect during Night so her surviving to D2 doesn't implicate her by any means. The mafia would also know that she could do so and likely would look elsewhere for their NK.

That said I'm not a big fan of the Hoof wagon considering how it started. Leelou is Doc so I'm not gonna vote there. I'm liking Peace for Town so far. There's something about his exchange with Ishy that stood out to me. I can't quote it though  :dry:

I think this is a good place to start. I've seen a few mention how him not calling Leelou for her buddying is odd and I can see the scum motivation for allowing a Town player to solidify a connection to you like that. DL is in 6 hours? I'll check in later and consolidate if need be but given Leelou's claim and the basis of Hoof's lynch I think we need to vote in another direction.

 
I didn't have time to comment on it yesterday, the part I bolded and made violet makes it seem like he already knows I'm the doc or at the very least a townie. Willing to vote here. 
3. Mish - Mixed vibes right now, would like to see more from Mish

5. Verbal - Not finding him overly scummy yet. Could change. 
6. Pral - all of 5 posts, just voted for consolidation. Not giving anything to go on. Either an incredibly lazy townie or scum. 
7. GF - doing absolutely nothing, his votes were very lazy.  - Leaning scum
8. Leelou - Doc
9. Nikon - Seems to be playing up the complete confused bit. Watching for now
10. Womby - can't read the rodent yet. 
11. nervositee - where are you? 
12. Ishy - Posting, but not really scum hunting. Null read right now

 

So far people I'm willing to vote for: AJ, Pral, GF and cusp Mish and Nikon

Youre a NK target all the time anyways when town, you warning about being NK'ed just looks to me like you trying to look more townie. The kind of blatant scumtell you'd call others for you fall prey to as well apparently.

 

Hoof's reaction did seem pretty meh. He's prob town. But I don't think scum "won" by getting him lynched. It really didn't seem like a joke vote to me, and its silly to try and disguise a joke vote that much, bound to end up making you look bad. And if there was a better lynch today, it couldn't be found cause we spent too much of it dicking around.

 

FYI, I did think your case was weak, but I didn't think it was garbage.  I just wanted to do some hyperbolic reaction testing.  The case was too long for the content and it was mostly meta null tells, but for D1, I've seen a lot worse.

Oh man I'm so sorry for not checking in last night... Was preparing for my birthday party today most of the day and then we ended up spontanously going out... Not feeling too fresh today at all.

 

At least that confirms Peace as town I guess.

It would all depend on whether Peace was not reading along.  If not, then he's definitely town.  If he was and this is a little attempt to be cute, then he's obvious scum.

 

String him up and see?  It's an option.

Alright, so Peace asks me "if I'm town what happens to your theory" trying to troll for something to discredit me and then another one of my scum reads dies at night.  So transparent by the mafia there.  They've obviously never heard of Monty Hall.  Since I was tunneling Peace yesterday and the mafia killed Despo, Mish is likely scum.

I don't believe Verbal has taken a stand on anything yet.  He's doing a great job of hiding any intentions he has, which means late game he can't really be held to the fire on anything. 

 

He jumps ahead of Ishy on my list.  My top 3 candidates are Wombat, Ishy, Verbal.
