What remained of the village spent all day arguing back and forth until the sun sank low into the sky. The clouds were turning a deep purple, like the bags under the eyes of the weary villagers, as finally it was decided that Despothera was the cause of this malady. "Come on you knuckleheads it's me, Des. You've all known me for years before any of us ever even came to Catan," he said holding his arms out placatingly as they slowly advanced, "Why would I hurt anyone here? You're all my friends, my family." The moon began to rise above the horizon and into the now black and blue clouds as the villagers continued to move menacingly towards Des.

"This is it everyone, get him!" Verbal shouted. The clouds parted and bathed Des in moonlight. He looked left, looked right, and then doubled over as if he was about to vomit. He looked up again, his face distorted and eyes wild, and snarled at the villagers. They backed away, terrified of what was happening to their former comrade. Des fell to the ground and curled into a fetal position as his body continued to change. Before their very eyes his body grew a wiry fur coat as his limbs extended into paws and his moans turned to growls.

Finally it was over. He got up, his back to the villagers. And then he turned, his red eyes and white fangs glowing in the twilight. One villager regained his wits and dropped his rope. This wasn't going to be a hanging. Thunk! The crossbow bolt took Des square in the chest. The fire in his eyes faded and Despothera fell dead to the ground. Without a word the villagers walked into their houses and went to sleep.

Because I think it must be a 3 man team and since I don't believe it's a Des/Golden/Ishy team it must have Pral on.  (Reasons back to 3 man instead of 2 man include last nights no NK, if its a 3 man team then that puts us at mylo again which seems advantageous to mafia as there's a higher chance of mis-lynching, also if it was a 2 man team then that means at least 2 Town PR, which seems normal and doesn't warrant an understrength mafia, especially given that other games I've played where it's 2 Town PR and this many players then there have been negative things for Town such as Lovers, or vanilla turned SK)  The negative stuff for us have been the mod-kills (which doesn't count towards balance) and the short deadline Day 1... ). 

 

I also find his apparent reluctance to vote Des yesterday strange, (although possibly null given Hoofs reluctance to vote somebody as well.  Des voting Pral is also null given his propensity for bussing).  And going back to Day 2, he's been confident all along that Golden is mafia but waited Day 2 to vote until somebody else had voted first.

That said, the Leelou votes died down once she got replaced and votes erased.

 

She being aggressive on Day 1 definitely seemed out of place.. Especially her interactions with Cloud and pushing him to a corner.

GoldenEyes has been slightly mellow and his return vote on me did not look convincing either. 

 

Verb seems mostly town and Des and Wombat seems to be playing their usual self. One of these three is scum. I am leaning towards Wombat.

 

BFG's recent posts were totally pointless. Just comments of vote counts and random comments. Definitely looks suspicious.

Blackhoof. I don't know if this is how he normally plays but both his D1 and D2 posts are either nudging or voting opportunistic. Looks too obvious to be true however.

 

Nothing on Ishy.

 

So far, I am leaning on GoldenEyes or AJ as the top suspects. 

 

To be fair at the time he says he's leaning mafia on Golden or AJ, yet votes neither.

Eh? That looked a bit forced to enter the train. You basically have one or two points against Verbal, which is fair enough, but the whole first part of that case was pointless. Looks more like you wanted to add text to make it look serious and compelling. But, basically fluff.

Day 3 gets interesting.

 

Well nice, the three scum are on my train. That makes it easy. 

 

At this stage it's Ishy, Golden & Des voting him.

 

It is just simple logic. With today being LyLo, I should be hammered if there was a remaining scum.

Actually, will have to wait for a few more hours for everyone to come online to see if there is one.

I want to think more on this.  If Ishy is telling the truth, then Pralaya is most likely scum and Wombat was just a turd for ignoring his 2 votes and focusing on my 1 vote.

 

However, that is a big detail for Wombat to overlook, and it makes me wonder if Wombat/Ishy/Pralaya isn't the entire scum team right there.

 

I am town. You think if i am scum, my teammates would leave me vulnerable on a potential LyLo lynch?

What is the probability that everyone on the Cloud train was town?

If Ishy is telling the truth, the Blackhoof lynch was also mostly town.

The three people on my train are scum. That is why I am not hammered yet. Des was just looking for an excuse to vote me. GE and Ishy pounced on a opportunity where I named them scum to come on me. Dont have any doubts now.

Hah, what a sham. I don't think any player had any "items" to begin with . At least I can say I didn't have any and the others can pitch in if they had one with them. Don;t think there will be one. The only one who hinted any items was Ishy who is most likely scum anyway.

These are all his posts. How much posting of reads/scum-hunting? He voted one character based on meta of another character and has NEVER changed his vote to another person. He repeatedly states he was voting me even before I got here, but he based that vote on another person's meta. Ugh. We've ALL screwed up the votes so far, but at least we try. This dude does literally nothing all game and then his big L-1 defense is "everyone who voted for me today is scum." That's pretty definitive.

So, one more opportunity for the scum to hammer. 

 

I think Wombat may be right, It could very well be a 2-man scum team because of the unwillingness of the scum to hammer.

 

IN any case, there are 2-possibilities

 

1. A 3-man scum team: This would mean that today is LyLo. And, the scum team is Ishy/GE/Des because I was hammered earlier. In any case, this would be known soon enough 

 

2. A 2-man scum team: This would mean today is not LyLo. Which would mean the reluctance of the scum to hammer. Probably waiting for the deadline excuse to send in the hammer. 

At the same time, this would also mean that 3 town PRs is improbable. Otherwise, town is overpowered. Which would mean that GE's claim is fake (being the most improbable among the three) and he has to be the scum.

 

In either case, GE stands out as the obvious scum. 

 

The other scum could either be Des/BFG. In a 2-man scum team, I am fine with two town PR (without a cop). In any case, that can be seen later

ok, so the use of the word confident is a retrospective emotion, but he's never seriously looked anywhere else for mafia, so even though he's not stating he's 'confident', Golden is his strongest lead (apparently from Day 1 given his vote, certainly from Day 2) who he is still reluctant to vote.
