Not really digging the soft claim from Verb. Womby seems to be poking around a lot so I'm leaning more Town on him.

 

Des is playing as Des. Btw, in regards to why I brought your name up earlier. It was more meant to be a joke but it was something I could totally see you saying in one of your massively long WoTs about Cloud and Leelou for their early back and forth.

 

BH's crown for the D1 lynchee is in serious jeopardy by the contender Cloud. Slight scum lean here.

 

I'm leaning GE as Town for his stubbornness towards Pral.

 

I think Ishy is probably a good bet for scum. He seems to be sort of coasting through, commenting on issues that aren't very relevant. His evening of the trains thing sort of stands out and then later the switch back to Cloud in order to secure the lynch seems off.

 

Pral is null for me until he decides to start playing again.

 

BFG I've got as another possible scum read. Playing quiet this game (could be work) but after her re-read of today the only thing she brings up is the VC. Doesn't come off as really trying to find scum.

That said, the Leelou votes died down once she got replaced and votes erased.

 

She being aggressive on Day 1 definitely seemed out of place.. Especially her interactions with Cloud and pushing him to a corner.

GoldenEyes has been slightly mellow and his return vote on me did not look convincing either. 

 

Verb seems mostly town and Des and Wombat seems to be playing their usual self. One of these three is scum. I am leaning towards Wombat.

 

BFG's recent posts were totally pointless. Just comments of vote counts and random comments. Definitely looks suspicious.

Blackhoof. I don't know if this is how he normally plays but both his D1 and D2 posts are either nudging or voting opportunistic. Looks too obvious to be true however.

Alright here's what I got. Surprisingly, I think I found some really good leads. Without further ado...

Hate to have to game the mod on something like this, but I doubt Nol would have faked modkilling Ishy as a "mafia roleblocker" if he really was scum. Would give Ishy way too good of a reason to bitch at him forever if he got lynched later on because of it.

 

Also think Ishy is town because of his voting record, he was one of the few who didn't just jump on the Cloud train, he tried keeping the Leelou train somewhat even with the Cloud train for a bit before consolidating.

I find it odd that Des ignores the obvious possibility that Wombat could be Town and thus doesn't know who the NK would be.  It seems an odd way to go about saying you think someone's Town.

In his next post he votes for Leelou while he had just been defending her, and talks about how he was obviously fake-buddying in his previous post, and that if he was mafia he would deserve being lynched for that sorry attempt. He is acknowledging Leelou's comment about him buddying to her, and is trying to downplay it instead of dismissing the idea and state that it wasn't his intention to come across that way and maybe even call her out on misinterpretation, which is something I could see a townie doing.

Here he seems overly sure about believing that I'm scum and calls my interaction with Leelou staged, while just before he was voting for me because of a gut feeling. He then ends with a nonchalant "perhaps", which is making it seem like he isn't really sure about his reads, but this is in contrast to his previous comments about my allignment. It gives him a nice excuse if he wants to wiggle away from his current reads on a later date. I think Blackhoof also doesn't really know what an OMGUS is, because he calls Leelou out for it.

 

Darthe is also starting to seriously ping because it looks like he was actually being serious about thinking that I'm scum with AJ.

Just finished re-skimming 10 pages of people posting self-congratulatory high fives at how witty smart they believe they are. Despite all of these useful posts, I will

vote Pralaya for the following reasons:

1. Inactivity is at best an anti-town move
2. Pral was almost just almost removed from the game by the mod for inactivity 
3. Pral failed to show up in Day 1 of the last game I played in. Town lynched his lover and we went down 2 players right off the bat. He could have at least shown up and voted for someone else or defended in that game but he didn't. He's following the same pattern of inactivity here and I'm not willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

 

 

for all the stuff we had and were discussing this strikes me as odd, on re-read. there were suspicions on me and Cloud, but he ignores all that and votes Pral for a nulltell reason, admitting that it is "at best anti-town". I'm not saying that he should have bandwagoned, but weighing in on the discussion would have been good.

I didn't vote for either of the trains because there was little to no real information on them imo and I'd rather have people here who contribute than someone who drops in every couple days, makes 3-4 posts and then disappears again. Weaksauce explanation.

but there was even less reason to vote for pral. Cloud was town, so it wasn't a desperate attempt to deflect attention (nor would the scum try something so obvious) so I am not sure what it means

It means I was not present to make observations at the time the comments were made. I didn't agree with the train on Cloud and frankly, I didn't really understand the one on you all that much. Maybe there are some "tells" I was supposed to pick up on that would lead me to agree you two were scum, but I didn't. I literally had no reads.

The rules states that there would be no modkill if we didn't vote for someone and I just joined today. Since we had already lost one town I thought it more prudent to just let night come rather than jump on a train for the heck of it and risk a mislynch. And I wasn't wrong, I didn't vote Cloud and he turned out to be town. Though the fact that Ishy was annoyed I wouldn't jump on a train gives me my first scummy read.

 

I realize BFG didn't vote either, but I'm still salty with Pral over his inactivity in our last game. If getting mad at me prompts his activity in this one and my vote woke him up, good. If he remains active tomorrow, then I won't vote for him on that basis. 

 

that is fair i guess, but as Des pointed out, any lynch is better than a no-lynch on day 1. also the bold stands out. hindsight is 20/20, after all. this sounds like distancing and claiming credibility for not voting a townie.
