I got no result from my investigation last night. So that sucks. Peace flipping as Insane Cop makes me a sad panda.

 

@Peace: Sorry man, just gonna say it. Your play sucked this game. Dunno if you were being deliberately obtuse cause of pride or something, but HAD YOU REVEALED YOUR LAST VIEWING, we could be in a bit better shape. You made a LOT of mistakes this game.

 

@Turin: I essentially started skimming/ignoring your posts a while ago. In my mind you're pretty much confirmed scum, and anything that comes out of your mouth is wifom. Trying to drive a lynch on a claimed Cop who pushed HARD for a scummer's lynch for "info" reasons is complete bs. You're pulling out your last ditch efforts, hooray for you I guess. I got nothing I want from you now except to see you swing however.

 

@AJ: You're fos'ing all over the place. Essentially trying to sow suspicion on just about every other player in the game besides you and me. It's unfortunate you feel that way Des. I'm just keeping my mind open to other possibilities. I didn't like how Mish kept pushing the RD angle and how she kept bringing up CS ignoring it. Felt staged.

I still don't think that Despo fake claimed being the Cop. It's very possible that he could be naive since he has received all Innocent views and Peace was insane. In the grand scheme of things, I just don't see him trying to claim in the manner he did at the risk of being CC'd.

 

Thus far 2 of his views have flipped Town (Rags and Peace) but Tina is still alive so that makes me a little skeptical in the event that he is actually naive and not a vanilla Cop. I'm sure he will give his view when he comes in so we will see if he finally got a guilty.

 

Right now my top scum reads are CS, Turin (albeit a bit skeptical due to Darthe's pressuring and the early VT claim from Lenlo), Tina (already explained, plus I don't feel like she's doing much to contribute. Also worth noting she was on the Turin wagon yesterday in the event you actually are Town), then lastly JS and Pral. I did an ISO on Leelou earlier that made me think she could be mafia but I really haven't seen much from JS since he came in.

But he did get cc'ed and look who got killed by the mafia... The other guy. Peace was pretty much confirmed insane cop with Darth's flip. There was like No Way that a mafia puts two teammates down as his first two views

 

Are your reads in order AJ? I see you are voting for me. Second on the list but at the same time you are distancing like crazy from my lynch. Like you in fact know I will flip town and want to pre-emptively throw up your hands and say "I knew  it!!!"

Sorry for my absence lately. Wish I could say it would get better but I can't. Basically I can only post these days when I commute to work/hone and at lunch. Workload's just getting worse.

My take.

 

Despo is town. More likely go be sane than naive in my opinion. Town cause I just can't find any reason for why he would claim to save Rag's ass otherwise. Been trying to come up with another scenario but I couldn't.

 

AJ is town cause I'm pretty sure Peace viewed him the night before this one. Can't quite here. See his exchange with AJ after the hammer. Add the fact that Peace was confident we'd know who he viewed anyway.

 

Tina is almost surely town. There's Despo's viewing and my jail. Don't remember her play tbh and I had no time to review earlier days. Maybe someone should.

 

Turin might just be scum actually. I dunno. I liked how he got in and started playing as a replacement after a player's been missing so long. Off the long absence is a problem and Despo's Wot's sound quite reasonable lately.

 

Pray. Had him in town group after Verb flipped for why would he miss that townie Lynch. But then I realized that no Lynch D1 (especially with d2 lynch being Verb anyway) was actually the better outcome for scum. Hence the jail try. From his play I found him more likely to be scum than JS/Leelou.

 

JS/Leelou: same holds about the Verb lynch. But I liked Leelou's play, she's really been out there. JS is annoying. But looks town.

More about how bad everyone that didn't do what you wanted played. Peace should have revealed his last viewing IMO. Although another possibility exists. He got blocked the previous night and just made up a innocent view to see if anyone might bite on it. It is also possible that he was dead before he even got to send his NA and so Day was started before he could post it. Quit with the everyone else is so rubbish already. Mybe if YOU hadn't demanded that he not only give his view from the night before but who he planned to view during THAT NIGHT he might have just spilled the beans. TL:DR version... get over yourself already

 

As to your stance on me: what awful play. you are so convinced that I am mafia that you are not even going to read my posts. Will you read them after I flip town? I will you know. I think you do know but that doesn't fit in to your story so you are just going to ignore that and hope that everyone else does too. I will get my "oh you played awful" post and you will push on someone else. In your words: you are either Derp town or MAFIA.

 

Why are you not concerned about AJ and his level of buddying? He is your boy blunder to your Derpman.

 

Oh and you get no credit for pushing on Darthe. You bus hard remember?  It is classic gambit strategy. Darthe comes out and twirls his moustache at Rags. Manages to convince some townies(myself included, but it was the web of trust you AJ aand he seemed to have that set off bells in my head) Then at a key point Despo comes in with a cop claim and an innocent view on him to Save the townie, and Depso is free to continue to bus Darthe until he is dead, dead, dead.

I want to see how Turin flip first. But, without looking back, here are a few thoughts. 

 

Des - town. Why defend Rag otherwise?

 

Pralaya - looks town after the end of day 1.

 

Snow - looked town after the end of day 1 as well. However, Leelou could have done it as scum to get Verbal´s trust. But that really put her in the spotlight. 

 

That leaves you and Csarmi. I didn´t like the way you changed your vote to Mish yesterday. But I need to read about all of you again before I know how to vote tomorrow.

As far as I understand, only Turin, Pray and JS remain as possible maffia candidates, Turin is the most likely of those three, and makes the most sense. So who would you have me vote?

Right now I still trust my town read on Tina. Mafia wouldn't really have had any idea I would have viewed her, or that I was the Cop yet.

 

AJ DOES seem convinced Turin will flip town, fought Turin's lynch hard yesterday, and I feel has kind of cast too much suspicion lately on anyone he can. He was the one I attempted to view last night btw.

 

I believe that CS's inactivity is genuine, I was poking fun at him before when I said he lied about rl stuff. As strange as his code of ethics is, he sticks to it. However, he still has that shadow of claiming to have Jailed Rags the night Rags killed Cloud, so there's that.

 

I'm really kind of frustrated that both Pray and Snow haven't been that active in a while, when I felt both of them were semicleared by the events at the end of day 1. I could see Snow as scum possibly, cause Leelou might honestly have been waiting to hammer Verbal till the claim, and Snow parked his vote on someone with almost no chance to be lynched a couple days ago. Would really be nice if when someone replaced in, they tried to stay as active as possible.

 

For now tho I still wanna see Turin's flip- I wouldn't be surprised if his "go town" comment after being hammered was just him trolling. It felt like he was trying to make things personal between me and him for a while there, I could see him exiting in that manner.

Do you think that there is a normal cop, insane cop and a deputy cop in the same game? That is way too overpowered....even assuming that there is no doc. So, yeah, as far as I see, Des cop views are useless. And, if Turin flips town, the train on him would be the way forward.

Actually, I've considered this for a while, and I don't think it's necessarily that overpowered at all to have a sane and insane cop. Obviously once you confirm an insane cop's sanity, they're as effective as a normal cop. However, in a game with multiple cops, once it look like one cop's sanity can be questioned, there will be a ton of confusion and consternation about ANY cop views after that point. And a Deputy makes sense in a game with multiple killing roles, so that town doesn't handicap itself too much with misfired vig shots.

 

That's why, if I was Peace, if I had any reason to doubt my sanity (like say for instance having a guilty viewing on a flipped GF), I wouldn't have CC'ed, and would have instead kept my results to myself as long as possible to try and confirm my sanity on my own, and waited to see what the other claimed cop accomplished with his views. Prob would have made this game a lot easier for town.

Turin had been called in to the Circus immediately after Tarr's death.  They would obviously want to know more about Tarr's actions and since Turin had been handling him for Smiley, he was the man to go to.  Turin smirked and strolled casually into the little, perpetually smoke-filled room the Circus met in, and sat down easily.  There were less of them now.  Recent events had taken their toll, and you couldn't just put anyone in the Circus.  Turin waited for them to speak.  He had waited a full minute when he spoke up instead,

 

"What do you want from me?  Don't call me in here and make me cool my heels.  I've got work to do."

 

"Oh.  Hello, Turin.  We don't need anything from you really.  Well, nothing you'd give us at least."

 

"Speak plainly."

 

"We know you're a mole Turin," Despo said as he focused his eyes behind Turin and nodded.

 

Before Turin could see who Despo had looked at and how he or she had got behind him, a strong, thin cord was wrapped around his neck and tightened.  Turin struggled and kicked, and even tore at the hands behind his neck, but his attacker knew how to deal with that, and before long, Turin's blue-faced corpse lay on the floor.

This one is a bit more interesting. CS is on Rags after claiming to be the JK and blocking Rags N2. Something else interesting is how long he withheld the information after posting several other times that day to include pointing out Lenlo's activity level and gauging to see if we'd be okay with lynching him for it. Turlo flipped Town. Tina was also voting Rags for a better part of the day and finally switched to hammer Darthe. Town cred?

We all saw that quick hammer yesterday. Seems almost too blatant but it essentially sealed the deal for them to reach Lylo.

 

In descending order: CS, Tina, JS, Pral, Despo.

 

CS is first because I think his JK claim is garbage. Additionally, he continues to 'jail' players that essentially would have nothing to do with NAs while leaving our Cops and CPR Doc unprotected. Not to mention I have stated several times that I see a CPR Docs kill/protect ability fitting with multiple Cops and a Deputy but not so much when it comes to a JK. At the very least, his protects haven't been very Town motivated. Instead of protecting our PRs (and blocking them too, I understand this) he left them open for NKs. Honestly I'd rather have conf-Townies than possible faulty Cop views.

 

Tina is next just because I don't think she's digging in much for Town. She seems distant, parks her votes and more or less vanishes. Not a lot of scum hunting from her. The hammer last night was God awful too. I know that she is potentially cleared by Despo's view, but I think serious consideration needs to be taken into account that Despo could be naive. Mafia would obviously be content to let Despo live and continue to view and possibly clear more of them if they were aware his views were faulty. The fact Despo seemed to be RB'd last night is a little disconcerting though... Mafia wouldn't need to RB him if they knew he was naive already. It's more WIFOM at this point.

 

JS came in and voted CS immediately after replacing, which is fine in my book. Leelou I was sort of back and forth on. Would like to see/hear more opinions.

 

Pral (although severely inactive) I feel is Town. He is pretty much AWOL this game but whenever he does come in he posts a case and a vote. He has also been on 2 scum lynches.

CS and Tina did both vote pretty quickly, didn't seem that bad to me atm tbh, since Turin was the obvious lynch choice the previous day. Tina's vote I still don't mind, really, as she had voted Turin the day before, but CS's did seem to have too little reasoning for him.

 

I also think it's odd that I was blocked last night apparently (unless AJ has a commuter type ability or something), yet CS claims to have Jailed... Pray I believe? Gotta doublecheck.

 

Tina has followed a lot this game however, and kinda seemed to stop scumhunting on her own some time ago. Sucks to distrust my viewing, but of course it's still possible that I'm Naive.

 

Snow and Pray DESPERATELY need to step up their posting, town needs either of them as much as possible right now. Snow, I really wish you hadn't replaced into the game, you've essentially been no help at all. Pray, I'm frankly disgusted by your activity level and contribution of late after starting off your DM mafia career so promisingly.

 

I doubt I'll get anything good back from my NA tonight, but we'll see. CS, if you ARE town and a JK, DO NOT JAIL ME TONIGHT. Town could gain some info from my NK. Blocking my view but not letting town find out about my sanity is a double whammy against us.
