I think the best cases can be made about Darthe and AJ being scum. Salami seems a bit off to me as well, voted Verb yesterday but tried scolding Mish about hammering Verb too quick. Peace has been lying low imo. Lenlo would make a good last minute option for today's lynch, considering he's as inactive as he is. However this won't give us nearly as much info, and could possibly be handled by the mod anyways, so I don't like this option that much. Mish I got a faint scumdar ping on, but AJ trying to say she's town makes me even more wary.

Okay, you're right that he didn't state that he actually viewed you and which Night.

 

That was more so an assumption on my part, but in the first quote he does say that he got two Town results with Rag being one. In the second quote he lists both you and Rag as his first Town reads.

I also totally agree with AJ that he's likely pulling this move to distract town and make it him vs. me instead of figuring everything out. No reads from him, just shady "viewings" results list (why would he view Cloud after meta-defending him multiple times?) not to mention the sketchy detail of Cloud's guilty viewing, giving him room to retreat should he actually succeed in getting me lynched (he can claim a paranoid or insane cop, or the hard cop claim Darthe gave him).

 

Gigantic FOS @ Darthe and Leelou for believing that pile of crap. I proved my townieness several times over by claiming to refocus town and then trying to sort out who the scum team is. Peace just comes in and claims and wifoms about my scum-meta. Leelou us prob scum so forgiveable, Darthe is either scum or a toolbag.

 

@Tina: I actually viewed Rag N1, and you N2. Rag cause I had early suspicions on him, and figured if he was town might survive a while, and you because you seemed like you might be buddying me a bit during my pushing of Verbal's lynch (and same as Rag, if town you'd prob stick around longer).

Also wanna point out that if I was fake claiming and scum with AJ, I could have easily claimed to view AJ instead. I went after him heavily day 1, so it would have been an easily justifiable viewing.

 

Oh and I'm not announcing my viewings ahead of time, which incidentally is both an obviously dumb and antitown move for a cop, but also an obvious attempt to keep from getting lynched- he wants to look like a nice obediant townie that will view 'whomever the town wants'.

 

Dude is obvious scum. And the exchange with him and AJ bout his meta was funny btw- "Show me an example of that being in my meta!" *AJ links an example* "Uh, show me MOAR examples! That's not enuff!"

 

Seriously tho, if I see someone pull a move ONCE, if I suspect them of pulling it again at some point in the future, that one time is enough for me to know they're capable of that type of move.

Also something to remember.  Despo always busses one of his team hard.  So keep that list of scum reads he has handy.  I guarantee one of them is scum.

I viewed Darthe N1.  Innocent.

 

I viewed Cloud N2.  Here's the strange thing.  I got a guilty view on him..and shouldn't have considering he was a GF.  I asked Wombat if this read was a mistake and he said it wasn't.

 

There is only one explanation that I can think of for that..and that is I'm a Paranoid cop...but paranoid cops always get a scum viewing.  And I got an innocent viewing of Darthe N1.  So that doesn't make since.  

 

I don't know if there is a role out there that can help me get an accurate read on a godfather.

 

I don't like little bit here where he says he asked the Mod for clarification as if that is proof to us. There's no way for us to get confirmation of that without Wombat stepping in to clear a slot. Also, I wonder he got the idea for paranoid cop...

Your Cloud logic is a little confusing though. I feel like you're saying that you chose him because you thought he was scum, therefore controlling the NK, therefore he wouldn't be targeted for a kill. Correct?

Well the deputy (Verb) might not have become a hard cop.

 

With some of our roles now on the table, I can sort of piece it together. A GF works in direct counter to the Cop's viewing. If Peace is a 'hard' Cop, then having a GF is sort of pointless if the role was only given to be used to balance against a BACK-UP role that COULD NEVER EVEN BECOME ACTIVE. Don't you get it?

 

Now, on the back-ups. This does make sense to me considering that Rag's role lets him protect/kill depending on if his selection is targeted for a NK at Night. By attempting to protect the Cop at Night, the scum team can shoot elsewhere therefore letting Rag kill him. The back-up fits in this sense.

Peace is full of crap. I don't believe his guilty viewing of Cloud N2, it sounds like he's just adding detail to a fake role to make it more believable. Having a GF in a game when a Cop would view him as guilty anyway is a useless role. I'm not buying it.

AJ...think it through.  I could have just said that I got an innocent view on him..or picked some random player I know is town.  Doesn't add up. 

 

Plus..why would I counter claim desp?  ok..so if I'm scum and my CC works and gets him lynch..who dies next?  Um me...not worth the trade off 1 for 1. 

 

 

The 1 for 1 trade-off is also inaccurate. If you are successful in getting him lynched you have both killed the Town Cop (with the back-up already gone) and now have moved us into Night where scum get to NK. Basically you deplete Town of it's Cops and likely target Rag next because with his role condition I doubt he is allowed to self-protect.
