I know some of you from Tar Valon.net (Sabriane Diamodred) and possibly 17th Shard (Sabrina Stormshard) but for those of you who don't know me, I'm Sabrina, Londoner, avid fantasy enthusiast, serial reader and Wheel of time/cats obsessive! Looking forward to getting to know you guys!

It sounds like you are used to forums so it should be an easy transition for you to get used to the site BUT if you do have any questions just ask, we're all here to help. I'm sure others will be along shortly to welcome you but I will take the honor of going first so...

You may have already started looking through the site but I thought I'd welcome you as well as offer a few sugguestions. First of all you should check out the general discussions for thoeries and other discussions by many of our awesome members. (Though, not sure if this applies to you or not, if you have not finished the series: BEWARE OF SPOILERS!!!)

 

You should definately check out the Social Groups as they can be a great way to get to know some of the other members, have fun and discuss comon interests. I can personally comment on two of the social groups of which I am a member; First is the Band of the Red Hand, of which I am LG of the Archers Division. In the Band we enjoy discussing music, travel and food. The Second group is the Black Tower which is an overall fun place to go for fun, games and just plain oddities (We're tainted there so there's a lot of sillyness). There are a number of other Social Groups you can check out so please do so and join the one(s) that appeal to you.  You may join as many groups as you like so go for it and have fun.

 

Along with the General Discussions and the Social Groups you may also be interested in Role Playing, if so check out the Role Play forums.

 

 

 

So seeing that you are a member of the 17th Shard, and without spoiling the book for anyone who has not read it and may plan to, have you read Steelheart yet and, if so, what did you think of it?

Hi, Sabriane and welcome. I'd recommend that you check out the White Tower and Warders Group. You can become an Aes Sedai or Warder there. :-) Nice people and lots of things to do.
