If you are not a wolf, all you have to do is to think on Des case. His gist is that I killed Hallia, who was the only one who was voting Des other than me, in order to ...trap Des? So, I killed the only person who was not suspicious of me so that I bring it up against Des the next day? (Which I did not even mention btw)

But now explain how Verb and BFG make sense as the remaining Mafia team.

There are 30 combinations for the rest of you to fall in.  There are then a number of partnerships that I think are unlikely.

 

1.  Pretty sure Des/Laya aren't on the same team.  Laya left his vote on Des for a really long time, when he was in danger of being lynched, Laya could have moved his vote to Lenlo (without raising to much suspicion)*

 

*this could be a huge gambit, but I find it unlikely

 

 

2.  I don't think Kaylee/AJ are on the same team.  Kaylees vote was early before other trains formed, Laya was ready to vote AJ (or had previously) and I've been skeptical, so could have voted (that's L-1, without a team to back you up).

 

The next 2 are least certain and could well be gambits/distancing.

 

3.  AJ/Des probably aren't scum buddies because of the vote yesterday - however AJ removed the vote pretty much as soon as it reached L1, so I'm not certain of this at all.

 

 

4.  I don't think Verb/Laya are on the same team - Verb was pretty focused on Lenlo & Laya (it could be distancing tho, Verb was focused on them both, but voted Lenlo)

 

 

 

So then we look at the voting yesterday.  AJ was right, with hindsight voting Lenlo was a mistake, we'd have done better (or at least no worse) with a random.  The case was sketchy, it's a real pity he didn't post at all.  Verb was essentially applying pressure, AJ was sheeping (openly), Kaylee was 'not' voting Des and Des was saving his own skin. 

 

(@Pral/AJ - yes I hammered, but I was voting someone I thought was scum (and gave my reasons for voting him earlier).  I agree with Pral & Verb that voting scum > random > voting unsure > voting town (although this doesn't seem to be what AJs saying), but I thought I was doing the first.  If you wanted random, AJ, you should have unvoted)

 

The scummiest of these votes is AJs as he was the one advocating random above everything else.  Des would save himself as either scum or town (since town have no power roles left), Verb was pressure (although it's possibly odd that it wasn't removed), Kaylee has openly stated she's not in favor of random and I'd already stated that I had Lenlo and Des pegged as scum, so would be willing to change my vote to Lenlo if necessary.

 

 

Verbs focus on Lenlo, Pral (and sort of AJ) also seems strange (again, benefit of hindsight), there were 5 scum, 4 after the werewolves got Yates, focusing on 2 who may or may not be scum seems scummy.  It allows him to look like he's scum hunting while ignoring the majority of people playing.  I'm also not convinced by his conviction that AJ's seer gambit has to be Town (although most likely, the others aren't ruled out and is increasingly having to cover a lot of illogical posts).

 

I also keep coming back to why Des wasn't lynched, Kaylee & Verb were the two who never touched it (and obv Des & Lenlo). 

 

 

The simplest reason for him not to be lynched was because he had a scum-mate not voting him, but I want to think this through and be sure of which team I think he's playing for, at the moment speed voting would appear to help the werewolves the most.

 

 

 

 

 

And also, before I forget - I'm (very) likely to miss deadline (in fact the last 24 hours or so).  I'm flying back to the UK Friday and spending the night with my parents.  Obv won't have internet while travelling, my parents internet connection is shoddy (since they live outside of London (glares at the government) and my phone is old school, so doesn't connect very easily).

If only they hadn't fallen for the tricks to kill so many of their own.  By the time they found him it was far too late.

There was no hope left.  Lars would not stay to watch it, the pain was too much.  Wolfs'baen would kill the infection of the bite, but he would die too.

Oh, well... Congrats, wolfs. This was a very confusing, but fun, game. I was convinced that Kaylee was wolf yesterday.
