I agree that random is a terrible idea. I am going page by page right now finding Tina's posts. I'm too stoopid to figure out how to list just her posts. Also taking care of some classwork while I look. Be back soon.

Hi!

Vote Lily

What's the point in asking him?

The game is built around him being a confirmed liar.

But some of the things he says have to be true, right? No one can lie all the time.

What are the odds the horsemen aren't actual players?

What are the odds the horsemen dont even have horses?!

Thank you. I really needed to laugh.

Eh I'm not interested in figuring out his puzzles.

My only objective is to lynch mafia and win the game.

Unless he's put in a cult (I don't think he did since iirc he hates cults) it should still be a straightforward game.

I have only read two of Verbal´s bastard games but I think that figuring out the puzzles seem to be important.

The flavor would fit well with some kind of recruitment imo.

I don´t know much about the X-Men. I just skimmed the wiki. Why do you think there could be recruitments?

Apocalypse is known for recruiting/brainwashing powerful mutants to be his Horsemen.

Okay. Then I see your point.

I don´t think that it´s wrong to talk set up in this game. Actually, I don´t see why it´s automatically scummy to do so in any game. In this particular game we need to work together and see if we can solve the puzzle.

The OP says that there will be dire consequenses if we lynch Verbal if mafia is still alive. FOS Csarmi and Nolder.

I love Verbal

*pats Verbal on the head*

Vote Nolder

I agree with those who says that lynching Verbal is not a good idea right now. It´s right that we can´t believe all that he says but if we choose to believe the OP it looks like we need to kill the mafia first and then lynch Verbal.

Forgot to unvote. And I used the red.

Unvote. Vote Nolder

Up to page 20 here. No time to continue have to go back to work soon. So far she has been much less active than other layers, but many of her posts are game related; specifically in the fact that we need to figure out Verb's mechanics if we want to win. Again, a lot of silence between posts. Will continue tomorrow.

Mish and Des: where do you guys stand on our candidates? Deadline is closing in. Just under 24 hours if I remember correctly.

What about gelding him instead?

I like how everyone is saying they'll reread Tina. I wonder when we can expect some actual opinions on her.

Any week now.

Less snide comments; more voting.

There's about zero chance I can do a meaningful review today. I'm damn tired, have a lot of work and I have two other games to catch up (more of a hurry in those). Meh.

Gonna try and refresh my reads on this game today, then vote.

Well, at least I can recall some mof the game now.

I'm going to vote Aemon for now. He was high on my scum list and I can't recall anything that would change my judgement. My reads might change when I manage to catch up.

Tina: she seemed to be playing busy pro-town for me, but I'll reconsider with Wombat's analysis in hand (have some vague memories of him posting a post-analysis earlier this day).

Krak: I think I had a weakish town read on him yesterday, but I wasn't happy with how little he posted. Will have to re-evaluate his play today.

Lily: I don't want to lynch her at this point. Don't see why we should.

Darthe: He has soft-claimed. I'd leave him be now. FYI, I've had a town PR read on him most of the game (obviously didn't want to telegraph that). Not entirely sure why.

Still don't think a lover lynch would be good.

That's for now, I'm really hoping I'll have the time to read & post more today. I'm gonna have a very busy day at work and I'm very tired already (at 7:40 in the morning...), but I'll try.

Also, I'd like to thank Darren Sproles and Drew Brees for helping me win my imaginary football game this week.

Your opponent must HATE you. I'm guessing he had a fairly comfortable lead heading into Monday night?

Vote Darthe

First, he defends Verbal, as Aemon says, and then he does everything possible to get me to view him UNTIL Csarmi reveals that he has the power to make him appear as his true alignment. Not a word on the subject since then. I'm pretty sure we have a godfather here.

Actually is a good point here.

I would still be willing to do it but I'm not going to get myself lynched for an opinion. Everyone snapped at the idea and your idiotic notion of scumhunting is FoSing anyone that's willing to tackle your less than optimal play so Ill let the situation ride until you all come to reason. My idea was the best move town could make and takes a lot of risk on mt part for various reasons. Try it or don't, but don't waste our time lynching someone because you disagree.

Your idea was awful. Krak summed it up best: your word against hers in the end. And lynching you afterwards to test her viewing wouldn't have helped since there are no coroner reports.

Darthe, what is your idea exactly? What should I do tonight? What about Lily?

I'm going to view as it says in my role PM. However the town can't trust that. Thus you should target me. Me turning gold at the will of a player will go a long way toward prpving you. Lily views me, she reveals the result, town is ahead. And lastly my particular role would be... lets say unpleasant for mafia to attack, even in the event of an RB. No need for me to reveal more yet.

Ugh @ softclaims.

Tina seems like an okay lynch, I mentioned before that she seems to be just kinda going with the flow this game, could see her as lurking mafia. But for now I will

Vote Darthe.

Can always switch to Tina if need be. Not liking a Krak lynch anymore as I mentioned. Seems like ever since I dropped out that I was suspicious of him, I've seen a lot of questionable folk push that lynch, just seems like mafia going for an easy lynch imo. Still unsure of Lily, but at least she character claimed (Psylocke was Bishop's partner for a big part of the Xmen, and if we're doing some kind of version of Days of Future Past like I think we're doing, it makes sense for Psylocke and Bishop to both have powerful roles.

vote Krak

I feel the opposite of Des, too many people that are trying to defend Krak.

I better claim since it's close to deadline. I'm Cable. I'm town and appear as town. If we lynch Verbal there is 25% chance that mafia on his lynch dies as long as I'm alive. Each mafia has 25% chance of dying.

I'm still not convinced that Lily is cop. If she can't view dead people then Csarmi needs to tell us who he is going to view each night for her to target the same person and then mafia know who to kill. If she can view dead people it's better for us. In this game it's equally important to know the alignment of the dead people. I think it's odd that she hasn't asked Verbal.

And if Tina is lying mafia, it's definitely not worth lynching Verbal.

If Tina actually had this role, then why was she defending Verbal D1?

Dire consequences, remember? If I have a role like this isn't it possible that mafia has something similar?

Indeed it is, but wouldn't the chance at killing mafia be worth it?

Also, I'm not the biggest X-Men guy, but if you're Cable, then why did Bishop get the deadline changing role?

Also, Des, why do you think this is Days of Future Past? Couldn't it just as easily be Age of Apocalypse?

Personally, I'm not convinced the alignments are exactly based on any specific story arc.

I'm almost positive it isn't. Verbal told me explicitly that I need absolutely no knowledge of the X-Men theme to play this game.
