I seem to remember trying to do that in the past (click advanced search while inside the topic, select user and make it lists posts).

I had a good idea.

Lily doesn't know anything about my alignment. I have not mentioned or revealed any part of what it is what it appears as on thread. If Lily views me tonight (or anyone that hasn't revealed, using myself as an example) and states my alignment correctly then she can be easily confirmed as cop.

If she announces who she is going to target then that person becomes a mafia target.

It's more complicated than that. Still using Lily and you as example.

In the best case, we might learn that one of you is lying. But it's hard to test which one of you is the liar, as we get no coroner reports. Or do you have a solution for that too?

DUDE. Think about this. For all we know, you could be lying and just claiming credit for a mechanic that was already a part of the game or something. To truly vet yourself so that we could trust all that you're saying, you have to actually call out a target, instead of claiming after the fact that you targeted them (which would be easy as pie, considering their name would already be gold'd).

Looking back at Des' points, I don't really see anything to respond to other than what I said when I "overreacted." I'll admit I overreacted a bit and I'm not proud of it, but I don't think that it was unjustified or unwarranted. I think his statement that I was sowing wifom is/was ridiculous, especially considering what I said and the fact that he later did the exact same thing, conjecturing to a greater degree about names and roles after Night 2.

While there isn't an apology in there, I still appreciate what you said in the first part.

As for the sowing wifom thing, I did think you could be sowing wifom there, and as I explained the same could have been said about ANYONE talking about someone's alignment after they had died. And yet at the same time, it's still prob necessary for town to get together to discuss reads on deceased players, as that will give more info and give everyone more chances to broadcast their own alignment. I wasn't trying to sow wifom when I talked about what I thought about those who had died already, but obviously I could understand if someone thought that about me. But it's comparable to the same risk that you take any time you post in a mafia game: there's always a risk that your post can either be misunderstood or misconstrued by someone to make you look bad. Doesn't mean you shouldn't post.

I think you overreacted to my fos on you, and I don't like that you disappeared for a while, but I did at least like what you pointed out about Lily, so for now I'm not quite as suspicious of you as I was before.

Just a thought on why no NK on the lovers- obvious reason is because RTE ended night early. Alternative is that scum want us to do the job for them. If o e gets NKed, the other can sacrifice himself/herself and bring back the partner, this giving us an all but confirmed townie (since scum don't generally NK their own). Instead of getting 2 townies dead and a possible third with the vengeance kill, they get 1 dead townie and all but confirm another. I am still against a Mish lynch and it doesn't look like my opinion on Darthe is shared by many, so I will change my vote to Krak for the reasons I gave earlier.

Why would mafia be certain that the Lovers would be able to sacrifice and bring their partner back to life? Only way they would KNOW that kind of info is if one of the Lovers was on their team, negating your reasoning.

Since I started that post, CS started towntelling a good bit again, and I liked his case on Lenlo. I'm gonna try the content search thing to verify what he got, thinking about moving my vote there. Had a scum read on Lenlo a while back that sort of went stale, but he has coasted since escaping the noose day 1.

What on earth is the difference in end result for me in you being lynched VS me being lynched? I'd die anyway! fill the "find author" with the name of the player you're interested in
tick display results to "posts"
I suggest ticking "sort by last update time, ascending
fill the remaining cells if you want to narrow the search (for instance, enter vote to the find words section to find a plyer's votes

You get a page with the target's posts displayed, #numbers (as links) in the top corner. The next trick is to know how those numbers can be used, well this way (note the p=#3034279 part)

I put the #numbers in the column C (C2, C3, ...). This is very technical, but I actually used this simple regexp here (in notepad++):

@Mish/Despo:

My stance is simple and I mean it in the best way. We can trust neither of you on what you would do once your partner was lynched. At that point you're dead with a vengekill in your hand (which you never clarified the exact mechanics of btw). You can do with that whatever you want, without fear of retribution as at that point you're beyond us, in the grave.

Also, I believe that at this point neither of you can trust that the other is town so sacrifice sounds silly.

One of the reasons I was so very much against lynching you is that we can check your alignment, actually. Just getting the true alignment of either of you would solve the dillema for town, the way I see it.
