mega ninja

Maybe he is fibbing about being human.

Maybe he is a God. A MAFIA GOD!!!!

then why would he tell us all mafia are gods?

Because then he looks really good when the first Mafia God gets Lynched of course.

It's almost too easy.

WHICH REMINDS ME.

DONT CLAIM TITAN OR HUMAN.

DONT CLAIM TITAN OR HUMAN.

DONT CLAIM TITAN OR HUMAN.

By doing so you directly limit the mafia NK pool and help them, but you also show them who they can't try to lynch during the day.  It's a great way to make their job easier.  You can get run up and then claim or claim later of need be, but for now there's no point.

Ninja'd by a lot.

@Thorum: Basel claimed Titan.

@Ithi: Not a god, human. My story has never changed. Figured from both flavor and because I knew I was town and human, that Titans would be either mafia or third party.

@Berf: two have claimed Titan so far. Doesn't seem like either is roles. If mafia hunt roleless Titans all game, that just makes it that much safer for our PR's. Don't know why you keep acting like you don't see that possibility. Oh wait, I do know. Its cause you're scummeriffic!

But you claimed you knew mafia was an all-god team in the early pages?

The titan thing Darthe 'found' is somewhere I would have done the same: knowing mafia are gods, i'd have assumed there are no titans in the game. This last quote, though...

@Darthe: I already explained this recently, but again- I figured from flavor, and from info in my role pm, that Titans weren't town. Turns out I was wrong- that's what I get for gaming the mod I guess. Being wrong about that doesn't make me scum. I'm town, and win with town dude. And if you haven't figured out who I might be yet from some of the clues I've dropped... well then you might wanna go back and read some of posts again.

Also, for a second I thought me and you might be in agreement for once about when you started talking about limiting the lynch pool. Then you sent right against that and spoke out against reveals. I figured you of all people could see the usefulness in getting so many confirmed townies at once and then townhunting from there. Would make the game so freaking easy man.

@Berf: uh, did I ever say blind lynch anyone? No. By limiting the lynch pool, you also potentially start to vote a PR... In which case same thing that always happens would happen and the PR would claim and everyone would switch. In the meantime, mafia would have to try and choose between role hunting and killing confirmed townies.

Huh? I didn't really think there would be Titans in the game, tbh. I had no advance knowledge of them. Plus, it IS Man vs. Gods mafia after all. Once Darthe claimed however, my initial thought was that they wouldnt be town.

Desp if all the Titans reveal as Vanilla town as you suggest - why on earth would the mafia lynch them?

Firstly they wouldn't have to claim they were vanilla if they instead wanted to wifom the mafia team. Second, if we went along with what I was saying, confirmed townies would represent a big threat, especially if any hang around till endgame (with my idea however, I don't think it would be that difficult to secure town victory long before things got close)

If it isn't Desp/Thorum/Basel I'm going to eat my shoe.

Bon appetit ! I hope you like the taste of leather

Why is it scummy to think one of the two people protesting hard against a very towny move is likely mafia?

Anyone know why Basel 'seems confirmed town'?

1) That's a very anti-town move, not a towny move at all. Just arguing that is scummy like hell. You being serious, or trolling?

2) Cause we all know where that leads:

Step 0: I'd be surprised if one of A/B wasn't scum!

Step1: Yea let's lynch A.

A flips town

Step2: Oh, then B must[/bg be scum!, let's lynch B.

B flips town

Step3: OMG, now I'm surprised!

That's not how chance works. The chances of them being mafia are independent. It's not because you throw twenty dice, and nineteen of them are NOT a three, that the twentieth has to be a three...

Desp I didn't see CS defending the Lover, only resisting the reveal, but the God thing from earlier is actually a good catch...

Dice didn't find out if all Gods were mafia though.

CS - thoughts?

Hey Berf. Thoughts on what?

Please keep in mind that I've read the posts starting from my join only.

Your character is a claimed God - care to confirm or deny or what about Dice's reveals overall?

Darthe's post?

Desp/Thorum/Basel/Ithi/Wombat/Everyone I guess.

Since we cannot edit, a third post. My two previous posts can be ignored.

That's not how probabilities work. The probabilities for their being mafia are independent. If you throw twenty dice, you're unlikely to not land a three. However, if you can see nineteen of them, and neither of those is a three; that says nothing about the twentieth one.

You can't, but you said at least one of those should be maffia (or have a high chance of being maffia).

If your claim is true and one of them flips town, the other would be guaranteed to be maffia in your book (or even much higher chance to be maffia).

Look up Bayes' theorem if you wanna go deeper.

[also, A being maffia and B being maffia - they aren't independedent events. just saying]
