I think were all happy it wasn't another random Krak, that's all I was saying. Anyway, I believe who we should look at today is Tiink. He seemed to go along with some of the things David said, had voted for Kaylee along with David early on in day two, and did not vote for David to be lynched. It is possible that he could be mafia too given these things.

Well the town lost a good player through the night, but we also lynched scum. And thank Bela it wasn't another random.

O.o Yeah... this just looks like trying *to* hard to look town.

MSC... I don't even think Tiink was online after the heat on David started to rise? Might just be my faulty, memory, but... Another desperate push to try and get attention away from yourself.

Seeing as how you had the chance to make it not go random, and seeing how that's a town play, I'm having a hard time believing you. Specifically because in your post you act like it was random happenstance, unforeseen and unstoppable.

I'm willing to put MCS at L-1 due to the case against him and his anti-town play. That and the fact that he hasn't been hammered makes me feel that he is more likely scum.

Ahh, some activity and am back from the weekend too. Tough to get any specific read from just a few pages but here are my thoughts.

Tinker - His actions feel like he was trying to kickstart the game. Nothing much was happening and I don't see anything scummy in his vote. Leaning town

David - his initial confusion about the joke seemed forced. It did not seem like an innocent misunderstanding at all. More like he was trying to be a bit manipulative. Leaning scum

Krak - seems to be voting everybody out there, looking to see who catches on. First was a joke vote on me, then on tinker and then on Darthe. Leaning scum

Peace - seems to be pushing his lynch on Darthe. I think his initial moves were to fish reactions but he has carried it over. Not really sure, but I think town

Darthe - Darthe being Darthe so far. Only a town read on his as of now.

Lenlo - not enough serious posts to get a read on

MCS - his initial comments against inactives seems a bit suspicious. Again, not much to go on for now but leaning scum

BG, Gen, Nica, Ishy (replacement) - nothing

So far, I think it is David, Krak or MCS who are on my radar. But, my vote is on David.

vote David

I'm not sure as yet as there are some I don't know.

Krak: I was thinking the same as Pral actually.

This is the first time we see that you agree with Pralaya. This is ok by itself, but when you repeatedly do it, it looks weird, that's all I can say.

Krak: I am also curious of the changing votes without explanation, then answering in rhymes. Is there a reason or what?

@tink

From what I see,

Throwing votes around, evading direct questions or points, telling that he is town without a necessity.

This

Vote Krak

Here you vote Krak after Pralaya does. So far though you would be playing as expected, as you found Krak suspicious and he didn't resolve that issue about his rhyming.

While I think there are some scummier candidates, you are being awfully cryptic Krak, on a bit of a concerning level. This is a basic, non-themed game, so I highly doubt you have received a role where you are required to say things the way you are.

Bandwagon and sad reasoning. Finally someone comes out to play.

Of course I don't have to post like that.

unvote, vote MCS

Of all the players that voted Krak, Krak singled out mcs for some reason.

If you find someone scummier then vote them. Did you case or comment on them? If not, this is a good place to look.

Hi guys, I'm here and not completly up to speed, I just skimmed the game before to follow along for Nica.

I see however that we have 10 hours left til deadline, and one thing stuck out to me; and that is MCS's posts in general, but especially on this page. Might just be that I haven't played with him, but I find him way more pingworthy than either Krak, Tiink or Len at the moment.

Vote MCS

I'm heading to bed soon, so I won't be on again before deadline!

Unvote, Vote MCS

I'm sorry about all these quotes but I want to illustrate something here. Kaylee you found Krak quite suspicious and also I found that you agree with Pralaya a lot. Especially when you just quote and write "This", which I find a bit weird.

So after Krak and Misheru vote mcs, you switch your votes from Krak to mcs, because of very thin reasoning:"You should vote for who you think is the scummiest" but mcs later explained that Krak, if you like, jumped to the top of his list. But then when the deadline got close you wanted to keep lynching mcs. As I have said before, I believe you were going for an easy lynch, and this is what I think mafia would do.

The bold feels like trying to discredit the MCS lynch. Mostly the "thin reasoning" line stood out to me.

The fact that in all of the above David only mentions him as discrediting the lynch, but has something negative to say about everyone else. (Me, Krak and Pral).

so sorry i have been this inactive, i got a work injury and have been having so many paperwork headaches with RL crap. i have been keeping up with things though.

I think that Misheru Sedai makes a fantastic case with the whole David/MCS cahoots thing. that being said, i think that this reply from mcs reads as scum that is cutting their losses to save face.

I don't think my vote at this point will come as a surprise. His posts have been very strange in this phase, and are not reflecting well on me. Plus is crazy and immediate reaction vote on Misheru was quite erratic. It may seem like mine and David's back and forth have been "in sync", and when you quoted them as such with your commentary it even seemed to look that way. It is just coincidental though, and I hope my vote and this phases lynch show that.

I don't think MCS is scum. I have been telling this from Day 1 and nothing has changed in between.

I was going to Kaylee. Like I said, my vote on Krak was a feeler, but his response had him jump to the top of my list. I don't know what to say guys... It's kind of sad that I'm going to be lynched on the first day phase of my first mafia game in nearly two years because of an impending deadline, and the fact that people don't know me well enough from playing with me. Perhaps a lot of you don't care if an innocent player is revealed as the victim of the fist lynch, that it gives you "information" or "a place to start. I get that the deadline is getting close, but please don't vote me out because you feel pressure from that or don't know me. Krak may or may not be mafia, but in either case he is certainly being manipulative, which is why I voted for him, and where my vote will stay as to not be wishy-washy.

This post by MCS on Day 1 is quite an honest reaction when he was almost being lynched.

I am worried by the train on him today and I am quite convinced that one of Lenlo or Krak is scum. Their vites on MCS were pretty quick and opportunistic, picking on a comment by MCS.

Lenlo's vote looks quite suspicious, to be honest. I am going to vote Lenlo

I'm not sure about Pral or Tink, but I'm not getting a scum vibe from Krak. I'm leaning town on Mish.

Here's the thing, MCS has been sitting at L-1 for awhile now. The fact that he's not been hammered either means he's scum so his teammates are trying to save him, or he's town and scum are already on it. Looking at the size of the game I'm thinking 3 scum. We found one. So possibly 2 (3 would seem too much for 12 players).

Posted

I know I'm town, I believe Mish is town. That would mean for MCS to be town and Len would likely be scum. That leaves Pral, Gen and Tink. I haven't been getting a town vibe from Tink.

Of course there could be a 3rd party, but for now I'm focusing on finding scum. I'm off to work, but for now I'm happy with my vote.

Posted

I do not think the would be a third party in a basic game with mentors. I could be wrong, but I don't see that happening in what is supposed to be a teaching game. I still feel the same about Tiink as I did on the last page, but I also get what you are saying about Len. And like I said earlier on in the game, if Darthe was mafia there are only two, maybe one mafia members left.

My house internet got disabled because we're moving and I had no idea. Between that and not having a laptop anymore it's pretty damn impossible for me to get online when I'd like so massive apologies.

I'm intrigued by the MCS lynch. I don't think he's necessarily scum and if we don't lynch him and he turns out to be scum then I honestly don't think he'll be a massive thorn, given the constant amount of heat he has on him, until late game. That said, I think this is a pretty sweet opportunity to gain info on Lenlo and Krak, both who I think are pretty shady.

Now wait a minute here. Why do I have to be likely scum and MCS town? Is there some information here you have that we dont know or are you just drawing lines to try and incriminate me?

As for Tiink still good with lynching him.

Wow... if that isn't a cop out hammer vote, along with your reasoning to seal the nail in my coffin, I don't know what it is. You're "intrigued"? You are really starting to sound like David now. And you don't THINK I'm scum? That's a day one vote, and this is day three. At this pointin the game you should be placing your vote on people who you believe to be mafia.

I could have hammered mcs but i didnt, the deadline is still a few days away, i dont know how it benefits town to making a hasty vote on what could be just a bunch of momentum that the mafia is creating. although i personally think mcs is scummy the most logical thing is for everyone to cast votes early on in the day on who they personally think is scum, with their reasoning of course, and then after we know how things stand to re analyze who will be the most beneficial lynch and cast our votes that way.

I'm intrigued as to why you used the word 'intrigued,' your reasoning, and your hammer.

And by intrigued I meant dislike.

Was that the hammer? Well that went fast.

I gotta go back and look more at Tiink and Len. I was so focused on David and MCS from early on, so their posts didn't really stick with an impression.

Posted

Same shortlist as I have. Tiink is being actively scummy, and Lenlo is being passively scummy.

Oh dude this isnt passive. If you want passive though I can show it to you.

I've run a basic game with 3rd party. I've seen it done with mentors. I never fully rule anything out.
