I didn't say we had to speedlynch Leelou, which is what everyone's implying.  I wanted to listen to what she had to say before placing a vote, just in case she'd give us any leads on her teammates.  She's trying really hard to redirect attention from herself by pulling up any name that she can to save herself from being lynched today.  Which she's about to succeed in, by the way.  Myself, Chuckles, Pral, anyone that said she should be lynched today for her behavior interacting with Verbal.  I don't think she cared which one, just as long as one of us got killed instead of her.  Chuckles looks suspect to me for saying that he doesn't think she's scum.  I could vote both way right now, but I'll vote: Leelou.

How am I doing the same thing I'm voting Leelou for?  I didn't try to go through a ton of names to find something to stick on everyone else so I could survive another day.  I'm voting Leelou because the clearest explanation for what she did is because she's scum.  Once she found something that seemed plausible, she's pushing it so she can survive another day.  You're not helping your cause either.

Fair enough with your casings there. I did read them, I just didn't know if you meant something more specific about your flip would help reveal more info other than verifying your reads were that of town. That's a given.

 

But I still think your initial vote on Chuckles was odd and doesn't play into the narrative you are pushing right now. You have chuckles listed as Neutral right now, but he was your go-to vote when day broke. How'd he go from first vote of the day to neutral? Despite your defences, this is what is irking me right now. You might have been misguided town when trying to get Tina to claim... maybe. Your reads you've recently posted might be valid and honest.... maybe. BUT that vote on Chuckles destroys your credibility. It WAS opportunistic, which is what you claim your lynch is. You've backtracked from it to point fingers at 4 other people now and have placed Chuckles as #9 down on your scum list.

So what you are saying is that in your re-read between the beginning of the day and now Chuckles went 9 steps down on your scum list simply because you hadn't paid much attention before that. You didn't think you'd be alive so you just lashed out at who you thought would be the easiest lynch even before anyone voted you?

Maybe it was because Chuckles doesn't find you scummy, so he's no longer scummy to you and you drop him from your suspect list and nobody notices? Distancing at the beginning of the day, and buddying now that people are beginning to trust you?

@ BG - When I voted Chuckles it was for how he was acting during the Tina lynch and it looked like he was taking direction from Cloud. I never said he was my number 1 for scum.

Okay, just going off the assumption that people will vote their #1 for scum (or occasionally for consolidation at deadline). I don't know about you, but that seems to be the the point of the game and the most effective way of getting rid of mafia to me.

There are many different reasons to vote for people: reactions, pressure, scummy behavior. I thought the way he was acting during the phase was scummy so I voted for him. Like I said I hadn't read through all of the thread again at that point. I've reassessed my reads and have listed them all accordingly.

Assuming you as town from your own reasoning, your vote on Chuckles had to have been a display of who you thought would be most scummy so that when you were lynched in 10 minutes, people would go after him. Assuming you as mafia, Chuckles would be a great person to try and push out an easy distracting lynch on based on the same reason people would vote you. Hope his train catches first. Of course, if you are both mafia, then its simple distancing as I mentioned earlier.

You should be voting Razen. Gives us just as much "info" as Leelou and he's scummier. Leelou is handling the pressure just fine and looks like a defensive VT to me [see Yates T2]...

The the bold - yes.  To the underlined - I have no idea where you get that idea.  I see this as an either/or scenario.  Either Razen is scum OR Leelou is scum.  I don't think they are both scum nor do I believe they are both Town.  Frankly, Leelou's defense and play have been way more believable to me than Razen's.  Also, I think Leelou scum would have talked about a better fake claim than VT with her scum buddies.

Ooowheee I love to see a scum sweat! Leelou is doing what the responsible townie thing to do would be in this circumstance: getting out her reads. She isn't flailing or panicking and telling people to vote for all these other people at all. As Yates said, her responses have held up under pressure.

 

And its not about whether or not you were pushing speedlynching, its that you were setting up Leelou's lynch before Verbal had even flipped scum. I wanted to go back and look for myself, and yeah bud, you came up not exactly smelling like roses.

 

And you and BG pushing the Leelou/Chuckles team makes me feel like Chuckles is more likely town now as well. Thanks for that. Razen flips scum, and imo we have two semi-confirmed townies and some great scum leads.

BG is sneaky on the other hand, trying to use reasonable doubt to push Leelou's claim because she changed her mind on Chuckles. Fact is, town are allowed to change their minds. And if Leelou was only concerned with survival at this point, she'd be more wary of how she would look and would be less likely to flip flop. I think at first glance Chuckles would look pretty bad fr how things went (he was pushing Tina for a full claim as well), but after a rereading I think he was just having yet another derp moment, something that Leeliu may have seen as well.

I'm glad you're voting Razen, but thinking Leelou's name claim clears her somehow is pretty funny. Wouldn't be that hard to lie about a name, and even if she was telling the truth she could still be scum. But hey, whatever's clever.
