I've seen nothing to cast doubt on the fact that Salami is scum in at least 1 thread, and I think this thread will give us the best chance.

BPVs are quite useful if you roleplay yourself as a cop/doc. That's literally all you need to do. Just give off the faintest of scent you are an important power role that most people won't notice and someone on the scum team will pop you. Lay it on too thick, you lose your advantage.

 

You don't go around making fancy plays to intentionally draw attention to yourself as likely scum. Ignoring the 3 game meta - Your gameplay doesn't match your role this game. I believe it to be a lie.

Okay, just a few thoughts I had when going home.

 

1) You're going at this from the wrong direction. I promised that I was town in all three games. Prove me I'm scum in one, and you can lynch me for being an LLL in all three of them.

2) Lynching someone three times to test whether he's scum in at least one of them is as silly as trying a witch by keeping her underwater: if she doesn't survive, she wasn't a witch afterall.

2) The BPV I have in T2 is actually much more useful as it seems at first sight - and the longer the game goes, the more powerful it gets.

If you believe that BPV is so useful, you're making a really bad play here. Lynching a town PR in this situation is not a townie play.

BTW its usefulness is not only in a possible save from a night kill. It's a townie that's very hard to remove and an uncomfortable wifom for maffia.

My vote is based on the fact that he's voting a claimed town PR on D1 for no good reason. Yea others voted too, but this reasoning stood out for me.

As for being unprovable - I would be surprised if there were no other town BPV's out there.

Tbh this is a slightly lazy play, going for the cross-meta strategy here, but that doesn't mean it won't be effective. I think there's plenty enough reason to lynch him in all 3 games to test if he was trying to mask meta or not (I think he was).

 

Additionally, even if he DOES flip town in all three, there will still be tons of info to be gained, as you can compare player's reactions to his lynch in separate threads. Could be an easy way to cross-analyze the threads to start off with.
